Unfortunately it picked up even the fans inside the computer 5 feet away. It would sound great in a sound deadened room but I didn't want to go that far. Traded these in for some a40s and couldn't be happier

Needs some orientation markings to indicate which side the pickup patterns relate to the selection switch when used other than omnidirectional. Also would benefit from a windscreen

Because it's a condenser mic it can pick up background noise fairly easily, but it's definitely an upgraded experience over a standard laptop or headphone/earbud mic. Excellent companion for the work from home life.

It takes time to get the right the settings right so the recording is good. I had to turn the mic on before recording and off after stopping the recording because when you push the button that noise is picked up.

Its ok for what i use it for, but for a really professional setting I dont know that i would love it as much.
