    Microphone broken after 2 months

    Alright well, I'm gonna start off by saying the service in store was exceptional, the people were great. However it's only been about 2 months since I bought this microphone and now it doesn't work. I don't understand. It was working fine the day before I posted this review. I'm only upset because of how much the microphone cost me other wise it would just be a slight inconvenience. I can't even use the microphone don't know if I can still get my money back. Or what the warranty covers. Simply put. This is ridiculous.

    Blue Yeti Output sound not working

    I just open the box and plug in to my laptop. Input voice is going through but output voice is not coming, I tried in other laptop same issue.Tired after open new box lot much expectation it was but failed.

    This mic was good but the default stand that comes with it is horrible with filtering out vibrations from the desk. If your going to buy this you need to get a stand and a screen for the front of it to prevent it picking up your breath.

    Broke after 8 months of LIGHT useage

    Worked decent enough for when it worked. Less than a year old and it already broke on me. My PC recognizes I have the mic plugged in, but does not pick up any audio when I talk.

      Hi Aveligne, Very sorry to hear about the issues you're having with the Blue Yeti microphone. A recent Windows update added new permissions that have to be enabled for the mic to communicate with your computer properly. We recommend navigating to your Settings > Privacy > Microphone and making sure that everything is enabled for use with the mic. Access your Sound Menu to confirm that the Blue Mic is recognized on the list. Access your Sound Menu by right clicking on your Speakers/Volume icon and selecting “Sounds” or typing “Sounds” into your Windows Search box. Click the Recording tab and right click on your Blue Mic to select Set as “Default Device”. If there are other Ready devices, please disconnect the device or disable the microphone by right clicking on the device and then selecting Disable. Hope that this helped clear up the issue, if not, fortunately the Yeti microphone comes with a 2 year limited hardware warranty.     Mic works okay but the plug in is cheaply made and is already malfunctioning. Bought a replacement cord and that doesn't work either. I never dropped the Mic and bummed that this happened after the return date

    Combined with the latest Adobe Audition software, could not get past the hollow sound created. This was for vocals only and every recording sounded as though it were produced in an airline hangar.

      Hello RadioProducer, thank you for this review of the Blue Yeti microphone. I'm sorry to hear that the audio quality of the mic wasn't up to snuff. If you're still having issues with the microphone, I would recommend downloading Blue's Sherpa software, which will allow you to mix and master the audio from your mic to better fit the sound you're going for. -Weston from Blue.

    This microphone was pretty much broken on arrival. I got absolutely no use out of it past the first day of having it. Very poor quality design.
