    The Blue Yeti allows anyone to plug-in and start recording. With 4 recording settings, it's also extremely versatile, to suit your every need. However, since this is a USB mic, it won't have the best quality out there, but passable enough for most non-audiophiles.

    For the money, this was the best mic for the money. I have had trouble getting it set up without getting distortion. The low end is weak, but acceptable. Definitely need a wind/pop screen.

    So I use this mainly for voiceover on YouTube videos and seriously I have never heard my voice so clear and crisp. Makes your videos just that more professional. Love it !

    Yeah so this is a microphone and when you talk into it, other people will hear you. But only if you have it plugged in though.

    Very decent usb mic. I gave it four because if you want studio quality sound it is better to go analog and route it through a mixer onto your computer. But if you don't have this or want to be practical, the yeti is the way to go. The cardioid mode is special for recording a podcast
