Beware of used merch

This is the 2nd time I have paid the new price for an item and received, unwrapped, dirty, dusty merchandise from Best Buy. Buyers Beware. I am hoping it will come back in stock soon... but so far no luck-- Have not used yet (scared to use a used mic in a pandemic era) so below stars are because I have to rate it somehow.

Would not recommend. While it lasted, it was a nice mic that was used for both online school & recording YouTube videos. He was very happy w/ it until it suddenly stopped functioning.

DO NOT BUY for Mac

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the latest Logitech G Hub software update (which is forced on you), the Blue Yeti microphone will make your voice sound like a robot (a Dalek from Dr. Who is the best description) after a few minutes. You can unplug and plug the mic back in and it will be fine for another minute or so but back to sounding like a dorky robot. Until Logitech fixes this, DO NOT BUY this microphone!

Posted .Hi musicheart, Very sorry to hear about the issues with the Yeti USB Microphone and it not connecting well with Mac. The G Hub isn't forced on you and is an optional software one can use to help enhance some features on the Yeti. In regards to your voice sounding like a robot, it sounds like you have the microphone connected using a USB hub. Avoid using hubs or docks where possible, especially if they have intermediate software for device detection and management. Test the device with a USB port directly on the computer. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BEST BUY'S 15-DAY RETURN POLICY. TO BE DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT IN THIS POLICY WITH OTHER RETAILERS SHOULD REQUIRE FAIR WARNING - NOT SMALL PRINT ON BACK OF RECEIPT. Posted .Hello, Very sorry to hear about the issue you're having with your Blue Yeti mic picking up everything around you. You may want to turn the gain down to about 1/4 which could alleviate some of that extra noise. Another thing you may want to do is to download Logitech's G Hub software which will enable you to customize the settings of your Yeti microphone to your liking.
