So glad we got this just before the lockdown went into overdrive. This mic is perfect for making yourself heard in Livestreams and zoom meetings. Maybe not recording studio quality, but darn close.

So I purchased this microphone to improve the quality of my audio during exercise classes that I teach and conduct via Zoom. When conducting a "sit down" zoom meeting where I am in front of my computer, and sound quality that this mic captures is excellent. However, most of the time I use this mic in a gymnasium, where they might be 15 to 20 people moving around, and lots of background noise. I try to stay within 5 to 10 feet of mic, speaking in the direction of the mic, but when I go back and review the recording, the sound is distorted, my voice is not captured clearly. I have no doubt this mic is a top performer for podcasters, musicians, or gamers, where they are within a few feet of mic. I like the mic, and will continue to use it for zoom meetings where I am seated in front of computer, but would not recommend for fitness instructors who are trying to create workout videos in large settings.

Wow, this baby works and it works well. If you need a device that can do it all for your streaming and recording needs, this is it. Learn how to manage the hardware and software to deal with extraneous noise. This ia as good as it gets until you are ready for a full blown recording studio setup.

Use this for work and it is awesome. The only downside and it is a small one is when using a mac, you have to have the computer off when you plug in. Otherwise it won’t work. Just restart computer and it will work. Wish this did not happen but otherwise quality is awesome.

good quality excellent value definitely worth the money

I needed a mic for my audio production and sound design classes. I always heard how Yeti was a great USB mic and I wasn't disappointed. I love all its features. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the fact that whenever I would boot up lu laptop, the laptop wouldn't immediately recognize the mic and I would constantly have to be unplugging and plugging it in for it to work. Other than that, it's a great mic!

This mic is so clear. I compared it to my older yeti ball and I love the quality of this over that one. Only thing I wished they changed was the usb b plug on the bottom. That plug is outdated and the cable to replace is not as readily available. Besides that it’s a solid mic to me.

A mic is the new must have for teaching in the age of COVID19 and I am so glad I ordered this before they ran out! It has great options and, if you get a boom arm you will be able to mitigate the occasional pliping from working on the desk.

I did lot of research before buying it, but after reading all reviews I was sure that I could not go wrong with it. Though it is expensive as compared to other models from same manufacturer and other brands, but if you can afford it, go for it. I just use it for video conferences, and love the sound quality.

This is my first microphone I've brought and so far it has been great. Loved that i can use this with zoom or for gaming but because the cord was a little short but i bought a USB extension cord and now it can be placed anywhere in my room.

if you do video conference from home, this is a must have. It gives you a second mute button (the one on the scren and the one on the microphone). Makes you sound great, and you hear things better with the headphones. My friend got this, and I was skeptical. Way worth the money. Pleasantly surprised.

I primarily use this Yeti microphone for video conference calls but wanted a high enough quality mic to help produce instructional videos. I can literally speak down to a whisper on calls and be heard with clarity according to participants. Very solid feel. I envision using this for a long time.

I bought this wonderful microphone for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! His friends always tell him that they hear his voice very clearly when he streams/games with them. I would recommend for those looking for a mic that will catch your voice super clearly

The Yeti is a very clear microphone with stellar sound quality. Unfortunately, I purchased this Yeti due to my first Yeti containing faulty hardware. The fault in the hardware resulted in an extremely lous and painful buzzing noise, almost like a flatlining sound, being audible whenever in a voice chat or recording in a music studio software. Because of this, my Yeti had to retire, but I still loved the Yeti as it did last a decent amount of time: approximately 2 years. I tried to reach out to Blue at the time about the fault in the hardware and receive a repair or a replacement, however, I was not provided with one. In other words, I had to come out of pocket an additional $150 roughly to purchase this new one, and to be honest, I don't think it's worth it. Yes, it is a good microphone, however, I feel there are now many alternatives that would deem a better fit for music production and streaming. Some of these include the HyperX Solo Cast mic, which is also a fraction of the price with even better sound quality and easier handling. All in all, I suggest you look elsewhere to find a more affordable mic that fits your needs :).

Right out of the box there was no setup needed. Plug and play at it's best. Of course you will have to play with settings to get the exact sound you want. Sounds great and is very sensitive if the input is turned up all the way.

Bought it for my daughter and she was very pleased! She's been looking a better quality mic that she can use for her music. One of her friends who does a lot of podcast gave it a thumbs up. Read the reviews before I purchased it and thankfully it did not disappoint!

Great quality microphone. I wanted something better than the cheap folding mic attached to my headset for streaming and voice calls, and this was a massive upgrade. I love the look of the blue finish compared to the standard greys and blacks that dominate the market, too.
