It connected via Bluetooth without a problem. The limited channel selection may be its biggest flaw. I couldn't get an open channel and constantly had static while playing. Tried in my wife's Pontiac and my Cadillac with the same issues.

I prefer a bluetooth adapter that has only an Aux port connection, and a separate microphone that you can position inside the car. This helps isolate noise if you like to have a windows cracked at times. Overall the fit and finish was nice, but the idea of two long cables hanging all over my dash wasn't that appealing. Many connectors you can find out there include right angle Aux plugs, which give better options for cable routing, and some even include spring-shaped cables that won't bind up or interfere with center console shift knobs and other controls. Bottom line, this will work well as a gift if the recipient isn't one to buy something like this on their own. If you are choosing for your own vehicle, look at the layout of the dash and you might find something more appropriate. Also, if you drive between multiple large communities, you may want something with a larger range of FM Stations, so you don't run into interference randomly.

The Blustream Bluetooth FM Modulator is what you would expect for a lower end converter. It works well when directly connected to a phone rather than bluetooth. In addition, it has set radio stations compared to other converters that allow you to set your own, and the stations only range from 106.7 to 107.9. In busier areas these stations are occupied by popular radio stations so it's practically impossible for the converter to work. I would recommend this product as long as you're familiar with the stations in your local area.

This bluetooth transmitter works great. All you do is plug into your car and select a station. Easy to use. Push button for Siri, can listen to your music via bluetooth and take calls through your car speakers.

My son has an '03 Nissan. No Bluetooth, so he used to carry a large portable speaker for his music. He asked for this for Christmas and I did some research. It turned his old stereo into a modern Bluetooth equipped car that he can make calls win and listen to his music, handsfree. A great solution. Lost a star for the sound quality but hey- it's better than nothing!

Bought for 2010 Nissan Armada. Works as advertised... best sound is use the audio in cable, no issues with reception of Bluetooth connection w iphone

It occasionally worked how I needed it to buy the quality was lacking so I did return it

It breaks in and out with a lot of static around towers, but other than that it is amazing.

Being used in an older car so far so good, allows for my music , just wish more choices for setting to frequencies

My car does not have bluetooth. This is why I purchased this FM Modulator. My phone will connect soon as I start the car. It is possible to accidentally change the frequency by mistake. But still is good choice is you car stereo does not have Bluetooth

Inexpensive blue tooth device for our 12 yr old car.

I don't have an aux port in my Jeep and I thought this would be a great quick and easy way to stream my music. It was mixed reviews online but I was optimistic. It was easy to setup but I could only pick up one static station. Maybe it's ideal for someone living in a rural area but I live in a major city and 2 of the 4 stations were actual radio stations so needless to say I could stream from those. I returned that thing so quick! Don't do it, just invest in a new radio.

If you have an older vehicle that did not come with a BT system this is for you. It works flawlessly. The only limitation is you only get 3 frequencies to choose from.

I originally wasn't super pumped for the price but thought it would be worth it since it has a mic. Got it, was overly excited that I threw away the box because I didn't think I would need it only to discover the mic doesn't work. It's a hit or miss and only works when needed (more misses than hits really). Talked to a best buy associate hoping it was just the device and apparently that's just how it is. It's a great bluetooth adaptor (the only reason it's getting 2 stars) but the mic doesn't work properly and not worth the money I spent.

Bought this for my truck to get Bluetooth. The unit has only a few preset stations you can use, but there wasn't any way to get it to work without major static. Phone calls have so much static you can't hear person on other line. Audio for music was just as bad. Thought because it was expensive it would be good, but it turned out to be expensive paperweight.

I love this. It works well. I had to mount the Bluetooth to my dash with a 3m strip because it kept sliding off. I did that and no problems now

I just bought a 2003 Infiniti FX35, in perfect condition, and as it is an SUV, it sits higher and needs the Blue Tooth for LEGIT conversation on the road. Your salesperson directed me to this item, I spent over $50 as it broke in the first days of having it. It never sounded Good and was a piece of junk.

You can only use the three channels that are preset on this device. The Bluetooth feature is nice though.
