A step up from bObi. Doesn't dissappoint

The Charcoal look is sleek. This is well designed and sturdy. The brushes are more tolerant to rugs and wires (bushes, rather than the rubber flap/brush combo). The collection bin is definately larger with the fine dust catcher on the bottom, so it dumps easier without opening the 2nd layer next to the HEPA filter. The unit sits a bit higher off the ground so it doesnt get stuck under my kitchen cabinets like the bObi does. (You get this one is bOB, right?). The barrier brick is nice with selective two 90 degree directions instead of just one, but it is not compatible with the older brick. The sucking power is great! Definitely louder though. The remote is very similar but the "Juice" and "Waffle" are renamed appropriately to "Charge" and "Touch up" It's difficult to change the cleaning mode from the remote, but super nice to have the much more descriptive display with more features and information. Read up and get this thing on a deal of the day if you can.

    Loud and Powerful

If you don’t mind loud, real loud...then you should love this Bob...it sucks up my German Shepherd’s hair with ease. It is very powerful, however it is taking it’s time to learn the house. It sometimes just spins around for awhile in one area, kind of annoying. But my wife will teach it a thing or two and Bob will be a part of the family...as long as we are not home!

Purchased 1 for my house and one for my 78 yr old mom. Not impressed at all. It’s very loud, bulky and kept getting stuck everywhere. We already have another off brand robotic vacuum that we love. We wanted a second one for upstairs. The price of this one was same as off brand we already had so we bought this one, with free shipping too so....Thought this one would handle 2500 sq ft downstairs but nope. Honestly I hated it. I work from home now of course and it was so loud I couldn’t talk on phone upstairs when it was running downstairs. Plus it kept getting stuck under my dining room chairs or in kitchen under cabinet and even stuck under couch a bit...it also only ran in same path over and over. Already returned it and today amazon delivered one off brand like we already had. Price was same but I also get 3 yr extended warranty too. Sorry it was a great deal as far as price and free shipping but just not what what we expected.

Between myself and the family we have 4 BOb’s pet hair plus, so far I am happy with the product. My Bob needed the battery replaced right before the warranty was over and I was able to receive a free replacement battery within days and Bob is working like new again. I definitely recommend BoB and the customer service they have was fast and very pleasing. A family member who have the original Bob is happy as well since BOb has been doing a great job for couple of years without any issues. This product is definitely my favorite. The only cons are, sometimes Bob can’t find the charger and bumps into things.

Easy to setup although I cannot figure out how to schedule it to run by itself. I would highly suggest that you have it clean one room at a time as it seems to get stuck on occasion. Does a decent job of picking up dog hair. Get it for a great price otherwise would not suggest at $800.

I wanted to like this item. Here's the pros and cons: Pros: It does a good job at sucking up the stuff on my flooring It is able to get up over rugs and continue to clean It has an extremely easy set up Cons: This thing is LOUD. It's about as loud as a regular vacuum It is TALL. This thing got stuck under my couches a few times already. It is error prone. At least 3 times, it has gone back to it's base and told me that it has a problem with it's power source. This was a brand new item. I got this on sale and I see why. They probably couldn't sell these at full price.

    What about Bob?

Bob is a great help around the house. We set him up to run M-F at 9am when everyone is gone. He's supposed to run until his battery is low, then find his way back to the charger and start charging for his next run. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen often. We have tile floors with a few throw rugs. These give Bob fits and we often return to the house to find Bob on a throw rug with an error message. I started moving the throw rugs or folding them in half (so he can't get on them) and that has helped a bit. As far as "plug-n-play" goes. There is definitely a learning curve with this unit. But, it does clean well and the battery seems to give it enough life to clean the entire floor (about 1400 sq ft). Just make sure you don't give it anywhere that it can trap itself (ie: small closet, a single way under a table, etc). Bob isn't performing as I would have hoped. But, he does help out quite a bit anyway.

It’s an incredible vacuum but not as intelligent as I would like. Frequently gets stuck similar to other robot vacuums and struggles to access all areas. Would be better in a more open space compared to an apartment.

It’s really awesome, was a little skeptical but got a great deal on price and it does what it claims. Has great suction, my floors are tile and it sweeps and mops really well no streaks so far. If you have wall to wall carpet it works perfect; but it struggles a bit with small ones it will try to eat the corners, like I said suction is pretty good. Great with pet and human hair. Use it 3 times a week. I check in on him only in rooms where I feel he may get stuck on something but before I start him up I’ll set up some borders he does fine on his own. I really appreciate that when he’s low on charge he finds his charging cradle and charges himself. I’m 63 and disabled and my Bobby is a great little helper, can have my home clean without getting too tuckered out. No regrets so far.

This vacuum does great at cleaning up pet hair from a German Shepard. The vacuum does a good job vacuuming, even if it looks like its following some random pattern. You will need to clean the hopper daily, but that's a minor issue. It does seem to not find its charging base on occasion, so you need to check that its charging. I does a good job transitioning from tile to low pile carpeting.I wouldn't pay full retail, but as a Deal of the Day, definitely worth the value.

I love this vacuum. I just set it and it will sweep part of the house, the only problem is that the battery dies before it finishes cleaning the whole floor. thats why I only gave it 4 stars, but it cleans very good.

    Bob is now Bobbie

We renamed Bob to Bobbie. She can vacuum okay but can't find her way out of a corner. She is dumb as a rock. I was going to submit a video but it was too large. I watch Bobbie for 20 minutes this morning trying to get out of an open corner and go back toward the charger. She would go into the corner, turn right and run down the wall 3 feet until she hit a chair, turn right about 120 degrees and go about 3 feet out into the open, stop and spin a 360 degree, stop, spin another 120 degree, and go right back into the same corner.....only to do it over and over again for over 20 minutes until her battery ran down. If you have ever owned a Neato which has Lidar and is programmed to pattern sweep then a Bobsweep will drive you nuts watching it. What it does go over it vacuums pretty well but it is dumb as a rock and totally illogical. Most if it's battery life is spent trying to get out of a corner or around a piece of furniture. It has NO brains at all. It's too stupid to back up when it wedges under my couch. It spends 30 minutes trying to get out from under a 4 legged end table. It seems to be a well built machine but apparently they are not aware of Lidar and could not afford to hire a programmer to give it some logic. I simply cannot believe how often it gets stuck in a corner or under an end table.....finally gets out.....and does a 360 spin and goes right back in. What a shame for what could have been a nice machine.

First off, it does clean pretty well. However, it needs supervision until you change its obstacles. So, we have it in our sunroom and it gets stuck on the thresholds to other rooms. We tried using the included device to create a invisible fence or prohibited area but it didn't work. Shutting the doors to the sunroom solved this for us. It also gets stuck on our mat in front of our sliding door. It's a low profile heavy duty commercial mat and it still has trouble transitioning. Not really a fan of how it just rams the legs of furniture until it finds another route. It has always found the charger and self charged when needed until the last time I used it. I found it just doing circles in the room, not vacuuming. I pushed the charge button on the remote and it snapped out of it and went to the charger. Additionally, the instructions and videos need to be more clear about specific functions and how to use them. Haven't decided if it's worth the $199 I spent on it. I'm considering returning it as you have to really babysit this device.

    Best BOB

Pet Hair Bob is fantastic! I can't believe how well it picks up the fuzz. I wish the remote was a bit simpler...and the direction booklet a bit smaller(there are a lot of things to know). It amazes me when I think he is not going to get a particle of some kind...and he does! This BOB is loud...not one that you could run and not hear when sleeping in the same area or near to it. So far I have had to cut hair and stuff out of the rollers only one time. (Two dogs and long hair...). I just hope it keeps up the good works!

This robotic vac works well, picks up the hair, however... It frequently gets lost when looking for home base, will get tangled in cords, and has to be taken apart if your dog is shedding. I have a female 75lb long haired German Shepard. It’s definitely easier than a reg vac and easier to clean out the hair jams. Just wish it was a little smarter and not so loud.

I bought this vacuum as a gift for my son who has tile in his new house as opposed to carpet and was having to sweep every day and hating it. He loves Bob! It has really helped cut down on the amount of sweeping he has to do. He said Bob does get hung up in some places, but that is just a minor issue to him. He only runs Bob when he is at home. He hasn't tried the mop feature yet. Since he is happy with it I am glad I bought it.

I purchased this because it had great reviews but honestly I don't get the hype. It runs out of battery fairly quick considering it's fully charged. It isn't very smart, keeps cleaning the same areas and missing others. Finding the base isn't so obvious. It struggles to make its way back to the charging base even when it's right in front of it. It gets caught on anything, so unless you have perfectly cleared floors, this will snag wires, low curtains, etc. If you have minimal furniture, I guess this might be a cool thing to have for everyday cleaning, but if you have more than a couple pieces of furniture, this will struggle to get the job done. Oh and reviewers have said this is quiet... it's not. It's actually quite loud. Run it when you're not home if you trust it won't get caught on something. Otherwise, maybe blast some music in the background to drown out the annoying sound of an obviously loud vacuum.

At first I was impressed because we vacuumed with our Dyson V6 prior to using the bObsweep & then after using it i was surprised how much hair it had picked up. It does a good job on the vacuum part but is just too random on where it sweeps. This was my first robotic vacuum so I was unaware of some of the options such as mapping. After researching i purchased another & found a few other areas where bObsweep is outmatched. To me mapping was the most important. The bObsweep struggled to find the charging base, would randomly get stuck, bumps into things a little too hard sometimes, the remote worked but as soon as u let off the directions arrow it would try to go right back the way you were trying to get away from, and was a lot louder than the Deebot 930 that I purchased. As I said it does good vacuuming (I did not try the mopping) but thats about it & there are better vacuums out there that are similar in price.

Not as good as the IRobot Roomba

We like our Roomba vacuum so well, we decided to get another one so we could have one upstairs and downstairs. I wanted a Pet hair specific vacuum and this one looked good. We have used it at least 3 x now and here are my comparisons to the Roomba: 1. Bobsweep gets stuck much more often when moving from carpet to a raised carpet. 2. This unit has to be watched much more. Can't just set it off on itself or it will get stuck somewhere in the house. 3. It is much louder than the Roomba 4. It seems to be drunk. It will try to clean the same corner of the room forever and runs itself out of battery so much quicker. I have to lift it up to move it so it will go in from our family room to kitchen or its never going to finish even three rooms downstairs. 5. I am now thinking of moving this one upstairs since it would be easier to clean just one bedroom at a time. I would not recommend this unit at this time.
