I waited for one of these and believed that over time they would have advanced dramatically vs original models. I am very disappointed, and it seems I needed to wait longer or go with another brand (I probably won't use one again). The noise is less than my vacuum machine, but it is an unbearable high pitched whine that drives me and my two dogs nuts. Does it vacuum well? No. It really doesn't, it is SIGNIFICANTLY less effective than a real vacuum, and in terms of time required...it isn't even close. I could vacuum the entire house (over 4,000 sq ft) 5 times before this completes one random and ineffective tour. Speaking of random, it is embarrassing to watch this thing run. It covers the same area 30 times, and misses sections in large open rooms and moves on to a new area....just to return to the first room and bump around in there for a while longer...and misses the same section. We watched it flounder in my entryway, an 8' x 12' open area with hardwood floors, for 20 minutes! It never left that area on its own...and there is nothing blocking it from the attached living room to the front, hallway to the right, or the kitchen to the left. I figured give it a few more times to get the "lay of the land". Don't bother. It never gets smarter. It says you can vacuum longer carpets...but once you have it, it requires that you remove the main brush. We tried, it stops itself, even without the main brush, on a semi-short nap throw rug. I would say it has a smaller nap than what I would call "shag". The "mop" is a joke. It should actually be forced to stop calling itself a mop option. You just attach a rag to the front underside and it "mops" by pushing that dirty rag over everything. You cannot set it to clean certain rooms (I have seen that option advertised by competitors)or at multiple times, (it always starts at the same place). It will not fit between the legs of normal dining room chairs either, so most of the dining room is left unvacuumed...and the part it can reach is a crapshoot to determine if that section will be swept over in the hour it flounders around. It comes with one block that points out a barrier that the robot will not cross...one from the front of the block and one from the side. IF you had two areas to block with that exact configuration, it would work...but you won't, so basically you are getting one big block to sit around your house to protect it from going down the stairs, or into a room with a carpet that is thicker than your car floor mats. Finally, it is advertised that it will return to the charger on its own. Don't count on it. We have NEVER had it make its way back to the charger on its own. It really is a very stupid robot, and being a drone pilot, I expected it would at least have similar tracking and learning capabilities as the inexpensive retail drones, and I hoped it would have the capabilities that some of my higher end drones have regarding knowing where they are, learning and remembering routes, and sensing changes around them. It does not. It has the same capabilities to vacuum my house as my 3 year old grandaughter, if I blindfolded her and spun her around a few times first. Waste of money, Waste of time and energy getting it operational, and a giant disappointment. I gave it two stars instead of zero because someone with no carpet and one room might get a kick out of it. Also, I got it on sale so even though it is a complete failure, I added a star because I didn't get tricked into paying the full price for this joke.

Some days picks up dirt like crazy and other days we wonder if it even worked... Maybe it is us? Don't know .. we push the go button and leave the house sometimes when we come back it is in the base so it was supposed to do his job!! .. When it works but man it picks up dirt like crazy!! You never knew how dirty and dusty the house is :)

Easy to install and use. Its nice not having to use the broom so often. It leaves the floor looking good.

This unit cleans good, but stalls on all the rugs in my house. Not as good as I’d like for a vacuum.

Bought this for family member and their cat. Does great job with pet hair and litter that slips out of the box.

Bought this one on sale for 80% off and thought I would give a robot vacuum a try for cheap. Not worth the investment. Vacuum runs very loud, got stuck multiple times, doesn’t have an effective way to keep out of complex zones. Not worth the investment. I returned it to the store to get another vacuum.

The Bobsweep offers me the option to vacuum without being home. It’s very helpful because there is so much movement and extra noise in the evenings. I did get it on sale for less than $300. I don’t believe I would have purchased it for more than that.

Does a fine job. Wife enjoys it, no WiFi/ can’t control with phone but that’s ok. It had a remote and you can set a schedule etc. Overall good product.

This one I saw on Bestbuy website the regular price is generally more but was on deal of the day thought what type would be bought and is working great

Easy to setup, cleans well and is easy to learn. The instructions were very easy to understand and I love the new vacuum!

The robot has great brushes. It picks up dirt and dust very well. I like the remote and how longbit lasts when used. Unfortunately, you have to use it if you want a good clean to guide Bob. The robot has no pattern, therefore is worthless by itself. I have to guide it to clean. If you don't mind using the remote, buy it. If you want automaticity, IT SUCKS!.

Only have to say ONE THING... WIFE LOVES IT.. uses it Every Day

Once upon a time, my mom bought a different manufacturer's unit like this one. She loved it though one day it died. Mom was sad. Since then, competition has helped to bring prices down. That, and a Best Buy Deal of the Day, meant I could afford to pick up this unit for mom. She loves it so far! Mom is happy, so I am happy.

Ok product. Gets stuck sometimes in a few areas but still east find at Best Buy.

Excellent for pet owners that don't want to accumulate dust and pet hair for a few days. Program to start by itself and that's it!

This is a definite time saver for me. I’m a single working mother with two teenagers & two dogs, a chocolate lab & a labradoodle. Everyday this vacuum runs for 1 hour & picks up the dog hair and other debris. Love coming home to clean floors. It transitions from wood to carpet with out a flinch. I really like how it goes under beds and dressers. I’ve only used my standard vacuum twice since I purchased this vacuum. Would and have highly recommended this to friends & family.

The idea is great, set it up and let Bob do your cleaning for you. In practice though it doesn't work as well as we hoped. Programming it is the problem, nowhere near as easy as it is claimed and we're not there yet. And Bob finds going from hard floors to rugs a chore, whirring away until he has to find reverse. And he gets stuck against certain pieces of furniture. A work in progress.

I absolutely love that I can program it, and I can focus on other projects or activities while it cleans all my floors. Also, Bobsweep is a follow-up sweeper after I've manually swept. My place is extra clean. Indeed, this is my new little helper!

Love this little guy. Only reason i did not give it 5 stars is that it is a bit loud (so I wait until I’m leaving to hit start) and it has trouble getting onto area rugs. Other than that it does a great job and the floors look great! I have multiple cars and it does a good job of getting the pet hair. As a former irobot owner, I can say I’ve had better luck with this one.

We have 2 GSD's. This is a must have daily usage! Simple to use and help keep our floors cleaner without getting out a manual vacuum.
