Easy to set up and use. I think it does a good job cleaning the house and the battery last long enough to do one floor.

I love this! I have used it without issue many times. It mapped the house out very well. It does not bang into things like previous brands I have tried. It gets on carpets just fine from hardwood. It picks up dirt and debris just fine. It empties flawlessly. The app options work well, following all settings as intended. I can make it vacuum from anywhere, or set a schedule. A user at home can start it without app access too. I would recommend this vacuum and purchase again if needed.

This is a great addition to my home. It is such a handy product. It has made cleaning so much easier and fun for my family. The two main areas of improvement are the mapping feature. It's a bit of a learning curve creating a no-mop zone since the map doesn't take pictures of the property. Maybe, that's a feature that can be added in the future. The other issue is the battery. It's dies rather quickly as if it was designed for smaller spaces, but this is a great product overall. So glad I made the purchase.

I've had "Dusty" probably a month now and he is awesome. I didnt realize how good a robo vacuum could be or I'd had gotten one sooner. He easily mapped my downstairs which is impressively accurate. I was shocked how easy he navigates obsticals and can go on carpet, rugs, or hard floor seamlessly. The mop feature does really well for him just dragging the mop pad around. While he is working you can see in the app where he has gone and he still needs to go. He even goes around each kitchen table and chair legs like a champ. When he's done he returns to his docking station. The only thing i have to do is pick up a little before i send him off. Definitely recommend Dustin when he is on a good sale.

    Amazing addition to the home

This has been a great addition to our home. Likes: The app is modern and easy to use. The quick scan function of our home was quick and accurate. I like labeling/zoning out the rooms and no sweep/mop zones. I schedule it to clean when I am not home and like that I can see the visual history of where it went in my home. The parts are durable and easy to remove and clean which is amazing if you have long hair constantly getting tangled. Dislikes: It reaches everywhere except my small bathroom unfortunately which has a 1 inch lip at the entrance. The Alexa connection also doesn’t seem to work which would be nice to have it spot clean areas without having to pull out my phone but that’s just another convenience. One day after an app update my home map randomly became all jumbled where it basically mirrored my home so the robot was stuck trying to find rooms that did not exist. I just deleted the map and it rescanned quickly. Overall it’s low maintenance and has been working great for the past 3 months. Glad to have gotten this deal before buying the bigger brand names for more than double the price!

Dustin gets the dirt other vacs can't

[Employee of bestbuy] We have had Dustin for about six months and have learned what he does well and what his short comings are. Overall he does a great job keeping the areas clean and is able to switch from hard floor to carpet without any problems. Dustin is very smart in that he can learn how to clean an area and after mapping the floor you can see where he is in his cleaning. If there is an area that Dustin gets stuck at, the app allows you to create a 'no clean' area to avoid getting stuck. He also sees and avoids going down stairs. If the floor has a lot of dirt or hair to pick up, he sometimes is not able to empty completely and he needs to be manually cleaned. The manual cleaning needed is to use the supplied brush to remove the built up dust on the filters and empty Dustin's dirt collection compartment. The roller brush also needs to be cleaned to remove dirt/hair when needed. Overall, he does a great job of getting under furniture and cleaning the hard to reach places. It's very convenient to schedule him to clean and you have a clean floor. He is able to store a couple maps so you can customize the frequently cleaned areas.

I like my Dustin very much. I used it for more than a month before writing this review. It moves fast and very agile. The self empty function is great and the dust bag is huge. It can hold months of dirt before the bag needs to be discarded. I think it can hold more than 70 days worth of dirt. My favorite function is the quick clean which you can pick a room or circle you desired area e.g. two specific rooms together. To add Dustin to Alexa for voice command, it is easier to do it from the bObsweep app, go to Settings->Alexa|Google Assistant->Alexa, follow the 4 steps instruction, make sure you use the email and the "assigned" password in Step 2 to enable the skill in Step 3. Overall, I'm happy with this robot vacuum cleaner.

We really like our new BobSweep vacuum We have ours programmed to vacuum our kitchen every other night & to vacuum the entire house twice a week. It is pretty quiet. When it turns itself on you can hear that it is on but being quiet it is not bothersome. It does have a dock so it can empty itself after vacuuming for us. We have a mix of tile & carpet. It does a good job on both floor types we have

We have been very pleased with our Dustin bObsweep so far, especially since it was an excellent price on the deal of the day. We have some thick rugs that it does get stuck on understandably, but it does a good job picking up dog hair and lots of it. It is very quiet compared to other robot vacuums we have used in the past, and we like the self-emptying aspect. We are still getting familiar with the application and programmable options but very happy with our purchase and would recommend it.

    Life-Changing Cleaning Help

I’ve been using the bObsweep Dustin Robot Vacuum and Mop for a while now, and overall I’m genuinely impressed with how much it helps keep my house clean without constantly needing attention I have both carpet and hardwood floors along with a pet, so there’s always fur, dust, crumbs, and random messes showing up daily. This robot has honestly made a noticeable difference in keeping everything under control. One of the biggest things I love is the suction power. It does a really solid job pulling pet hair and dirt out of carpets while still handling hardwood floors really well. A lot of robot vacuums seem to struggle with transitions between surfaces, but this one adjusts nicely and cleans both effectively. The mapping and navigation are also surprisingly accurate. After it maps the house, it moves in a very organized pattern instead of randomly bouncing around. Through the app, you can schedule cleanings, customize rooms, and set up no-go zones very easily. I personally have mine scheduled to clean automatically, which is super convenient because I don’t even have to think about vacuuming most days. Honestly, this vacuum has made my life so much easier. I sometimes deal with back issues, so not having to physically vacuum nearly as much anymore has been a huge relief for me. Being able to let it handle daily cleaning while I focus on other things has taken a lot of stress off my body. Another feature I really like is the self-emptying station. Every time mine finishes cleaning, I have it set to automatically return to the dock and empty itself. You can actually control through the app how often you want it to empty, which is really helpful depending on how much dirt or pet hair you deal with. Since I have a pet, I prefer having it empty after every cleaning cycle so the dustbin never gets overloaded. It saves a lot of maintenance and makes the whole process feel much more hands-off. The battery life is honestly excellent. It lasts long enough to clean large areas without constantly needing to recharge, and if it ever does need more power mid-clean, it can recharge itself and continue where it left off. That alone makes it feel much smarter and more reliable than cheaper robot vacuums I’ve tried before. The mopping feature is another thing that surprised me. It definitely mops well and helps keep my hardwood floors looking cleaner on a daily basis. I do want to mentio, though, that I personally don’t think it’s a complete replacement for deep mopping by hand, especially for tougher buildup or areas that really need scrubbing deep into the floor. But for maintaining clean floors throughout the week, it honestly does a really good job. There are a couple of downsides worth mentioning, though. The biggest one is definitely the noise level when it empties itself into the station. The vacuum itself is manageable during cleaning, but when it docks and empties the dustbin, it gets VERY loud for a few seconds. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, but it’s definitely something people should know before getting it. Another issue I’ve noticed is that sometimes the mopping pads can come loose or come off during cleaning. Thankfully, the app does a really good job notifying you when something is wrong. If there’s an issue with a mop pad, front sensor, or another part of the vacuum, the app alerts you pretty quickly so you know exactly what needs attention instead of having to figure it out yourself. Overall, I think the bObsweep Dustin Combo is a really strong option if you have pets, mixed flooring like carpet and hardwood, and want something that can mostly take over daily floor cleaning for you. The scheduling, smart mapping, strong battery life, self-emptying dock, and powerful suction make it feel much more premium and convenient than a lot of other basic robot vacuums I have used.

My favorite person in my household. Ok there is a learning curve with a robot vacuum. This is my first one. 1 it will try to suck anything up like a towel left on the floor or a rubber magnet man kids toy, but if you pick up all the loose stuff beforehand you’re golden. He can get under the couch and cabinets and places I haven’t been able to vacuum in years. And he’s quite thorough. The LiDAR is extremely accurate and I like you can go in and section off rooms. Play around with the vacuum suction settings for your needs it defaults to low. I haven’t tried the mop feature yet as honestly I’m super nervous about it and it seems like it will do a surface cleaning rather than a deep clean. His dustbin empty portal got jammed the first few times because honestly think it was picking up so much dust and dirt. So now I run him every night and he does a great job. The self empty feature is a game changer.

I have thus Bobsweep_Dustin for about amonth now and this little have been taking awy my sweeping job around the house and it does a very good with power vacuum settings to high. I love this which I was hesitated at first. I also try the vacuum and Mop settings once and I switched back to just vacuum bc it drained the battery way too fast then I expected. There were quite some issue that it stopped and moving when I tried to controlling it from my which the errors saying what look for. I found my the baby sock and small oject it swallowed. By removing the out from the main brush roller then that job stolen bot, back to work as usual. I Love it even though my job was stolen. I bought it with a real good price. It was abit hard to connect to FiWi and I still cannot link it to Alexa or Google

[Employee of bestbuy] It works great, I like that it will determine if something is just a high transition strip and attempt to scale it to get over it. My last robot vacuum would get to the strip and just give up leaving my kitchen and living room unclean. I also like that the app is super easy to use and allows you to choose exactly what you want it to do and where exactly you want it to do it. I would say the only negative I’ve seen is it doesn’t notice things like socks on the floor and just goes right over them, naturally it attempts to suck it up and gets stuck. I also wish the app would send my notifications when it gets stuck, I’ve had times where it would get stuck and me have no idea until I get home.

I tried this newer model expecting greatness from it since it was priced at $1000. I have 3 cats and on the first use the trash failed to be sucked into the disposable bag. All the hair and dirt got stock. (Hole is too small on the dirt bin) it lacks the matrix cleaning pattern of the shark and the app does not allow you to clean up more than 1 room or the whole house. With Shark I can choose which rooms to clean. So needs upgrade in the app mainly. The mopping was pretty good and the cleaning itself is good too. If you don't have too much animal hair. This would be great for you, but did not work for me. I was sad to return it. Specially at the sale price I got it 270.00 I wouldn't pay full price on it.

Dustin has a secret. But I'm sharing it!

bObsweep is a company that was on my radar, but I didn’t know a lot about their products. I’d heard of the brand but not much either way good or bad. So I took this opportunity to learn more about them and hopefully have a better robot sweep and mop experience than my last one with a bigger named brand. It started out okay but a few months later it just stopped doing cleaning missions without a lot of intervention and even then, it continually failed. While that robot was completely automated in switching from a vac mission to a mop mission, it never really worked out that way, so I was intrigued with bObsweep’s approach with Dustin to just let the user fill the water compartment and put the mop pads on and off. And in the long run, I find myself MUCH happier. Dustin (and by the way, I can’t believe I never thought of this for a robot vac name) hasn’t failed a single job I’ve sent him on, from mapping to vacuuming to mopping, Dustin is fast, quiet and thorough and he’s never failed or gotten stuck. And that’s impressive because I have an older home and some of the thresholds are pretty high. Setup was easy and the documentation was concise and entertaining. I’m an old IT guy so I don’t usually go for the instructions first, but I enjoyed reading the documentation. But I do wish they had given a little more space to the software, because it isn’t that intuitively designed. For example, it isn’t clear that you can edit or modify the map and once you do get into the editing mode, the options on what you can do with the map aren’t clear because the iconography isn’t obvious. It would have been better to use standard icons or simple text labels. The hardware is solid and the build quality is better than I expected and while the software has room to grow, it’s much better than my Shark mop and vac experience. In that case the software completely let down the brand. In Dustin’s case, it merely needs some refinement. But this is where the secret that I spoke about comes in. You see, deep down… Dustin is a Tuya device. That means you can pair to any Tuya compatible program and run Tuya’s vacuum solution. More importantly, if you are a smart home user like I am, this means you can integrate Dustin with smart home management programs like Home Assistant, Samsung’s SmartThings or Homey easily! You can only pair to one program at a time (either bObsweep or Tuya) but you can change between each program any time and it’s as simple as re-pairing by holding down the Wi-Fi button. I found Tuya’s interface a little easier for me to grasp when it came to tasks like editing the map, splitting room maps or even sending Dustin out to clean selected rooms. From what I can see, you don’t lose anything by using one or the other as far as the feature set is concerned. It’s just about what UI you prefer and whether you want to integrate with the other programs. I can confidently say that I would recommend Dustin not only to beginners with robot vacuums but also to experienced smart home users like me without hesitation. The performance, build quality and ease of use exceeded expectations, the user experience has been fun, and I am always impressed when a company provides open access options. Turns out Dustin’s real secret is that he’s kind of awesome!
