The bObsweep Dustin Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum & Mop has powerful suction, quiet operation, and impressive LiDAR mapping that ensures thorough, organized cleaning. I love its self-emptying dock, which greatly reduces maintenance, and its intuitive app that allows easy scheduling, no-go zones, and full control from anywhere. It performs especially well on hard floors, efficiently picking up dust, pet hair, and debris while operating quietly enough not to disturb daily life. With strong navigation, long battery life, and a sleek design, the Dustin offers excellent value and convenience—making it a favorite for homeowners who want a hands-off, high-tech cleaning solution.

My experience with Dustin bObsweep: I really do enjoy having the vacuum, which I have named B-Bot, with me, where I am staying. It is a powerful and great vacuum that picks up very well, saving me lots of time and keeping my place very clean. The vacuum part of B-Bop is phenomenal, I can’t be happier with it. Picks up even hard to get stuff on the ground and makes it’s away into every corner of this place. It really is great! Mapping features and ease of connection was excellent! I do also like the mopping feature and super glad it is here with it. I probably would not have purchased this one, or any one if it did not have this feature. It works very well, when the mop heads are clean (and even when I haven’t cleaned them right away) and the water tank has water in it. My only small critiques are the size of this tank and whether or not I can add something other than water to it. It is a great tool to help keep the floors clean, but think I may need to do deeper cleaning/mopping days from time to time. Overall, I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone for any circumstances, the minor critiques are easily addressed and I look forward to using this device for a very long time!!

Simply the best robot vacuum I've encountered

Amazing. Hands down the best robot vacuum I've had. Background: I've used Roomba's, I've used Deebots. I've used no-name generic vacuum robots from Amazon. And this is BY FAR the best I've had. Moral of the story: You get what you pay for. And this is worth it. What I like: Mapping of the house. Ability to divide rooms on map. Ability to schedule the entire area or portions of the area - and have multiple schedules. (The fact that I can clean high-traffic areas more often.). Ability to control the vacuum power (I have a corgi... and let me tell you, this little robot gets all of her "corgi glitter" - aka unending fur - without a problem). The ability to use the same robot as a wet mop. And to schedule different cleaning areas and times for mopping versus vacuuming. An amazing app - intuitive and easy to use. And the fact that this robot finds its way back to the charging station (none of my others could actually pull off that feat) is awesome. Oh yea. The fact that it empties itself - and I don't need to remember to do it after every cleaning. Full disclosure - this automated emptying is why I purchased the robot... and I'm so glad that I did. What I don't like: Nothing. Seriously, I can't come up with anything. I don't like about the robot. Bottom line: You get what you pay for. Don't screw around. Go for this best. And in my opinion, this one is simply the best. (My advice - Best Buy often runs sales on this robot. It's worth the full price. You'll be even happier if you get it on sale, like I did!)

The bObsweep Dustin has earned spot in my lineup: a house that’s already used to having bots crawl around doing things. I’m coming from the Max 10 series, so my bar is fairly high, and this little guy has a lot going for it. I don’t mind mixing brands at all, and “Dustin” genuinely feels like it deserves its own space. It vacuums well, navigates reliably enough, and has a couple of standout features that make it more than just “another cheapo robot vacuum.” *** Dustbin, bags, and maintenance The first big win is the bag capacity. The bags in Dustin’s dock are *huge* compared to what I’m used to. With my iRobot docks, I usually have to swap bags every 30–40 days. With this dock, the bag seems to have roughly three times the capacity in actual use. That’s a big deal. In a well-maintained home, especially if you’re running multiple bots on different floors, you’re realistically looking at potentially half a year before you even have to think about emptying or touching the dock. For anyone who wants a “set it and mostly forget it” robot, that low-maintenance factor is a major selling point. *** Privacy and navigation One of the things I really appreciate is what it *doesn’t* have: there’s no camera. It navigates primarily with LIDAR, and that’s enough for it to map and move around the home without constantly bumping into things. The added peace of mind is that the data is kept on U.S. servers, so if you’re privacy‑sensitive or just tired of random internet‑connected cameras roaming your house, this design approach is refreshing. It feels like a robot that’s trying to do its job without turning into a roving security cam. However, you do lose OBJECT AVOIDANCE, which I will detail in the section next. *** Noise, cleaning performance, and “smartness” On the noise front, it’s somewhat louder than some of the other bots I have. It’s not “jet engine” loud, but if you’re used to quieter models, you’ll notice it. The tradeoff is that it vacuums just as well as the others: carpets and hard floors are cleaned to a level I’d call “no complaints.” It doesn’t leave obvious lines of debris or miss big patches. In terms of behavior, it doesn’t feel quite as methodical as the most advanced bots out there. Some robots run with very clear, efficient grids and seem to get smarter run after run. Dustin doesn’t really give that “I’ve evolved” vibe over time. It basically came in at about a 95% solution and more or less stayed there. The upside is that it still covers the space well and doesn’t require a bunch of remapping or fiddling. It also handled larger temporary obstacles—like moved chairs, rolling carts, or tables—quite well. It finds its way around that kind of stuff without drama. The weak spot is smaller, softer hazards like cables or, in my case, a sock that managed to completely “sock up” the works. It’s not unique in that weakness, but you’ll still want to do some basic floor prep, and that's a downer, which probably means this should be on your floor with less regular clutter, or if you already tend to keep a pretty tidy floor. Toddlers that leave toys around probably should pick up before you schedule a cleaning mission with this bot. *** Mopping experience Vacuuming is where this thing shines. Mopping is… good, but more manual than I’d like. It can mop, and in terms of actual floor cleaning, it does a solid job. The problem is the dock. It doesn’t handle cleaning the spinning mop heads at all. That means when it’s done, *you* are the one cleaning the mop heads manually. I really don’t love that. My personal benchmark is: if I have a robot, I want it to take care of itself as much as possible. Filling water, fine. Constantly dealing with dirty mop heads, not so much. So I’d rate it “big thumbs up” for vacuuming and “good, but hands-on” for mopping. *** Overall RECOMMENDED! I’m impressed. This is a very nice robot that stands up well in a home already running more premium bots. Massive bag capacity, privacy‑minded design with LIDAR and no camera, strong vacuum performance, and solid handling of everyday obstacles all make it easy to live with. The downsides are more noise than some competitors, mopping that requires manual cleanup of the pads, and navigation that feels more “good enough” . Dustin has strong vacuuming with low maintenance and you’re okay doing a bit of manual work on the mopping side, Dustin is absolutely worth a spot in the house. It has a spot in my heavily bott-ed house and will work well on its own as well. RECOMMENDED!

This will be our 3rd bObsweep robot vacuum cleaner and is the best so far. Really love the self emptying aspect. That feature is loud but is over quickly. So many great features with this product from the mobile app to control the cleaning schedule, the mapping technology, and ability to control the vacuum suction power. Also for lager homes has an auto resume if the battery runs out prior to finishing. We stay loyal to bObsweep partly for their great products and mostly for their awesome customer service! If bOb ever has an issue customer service is always very responsive with a multitude of options from repairing to potential upgrades when available. Most products these days do not offer that kind of service.

This vacuum is a game-changer for anyone seeking a hands-off cleaning experience. The standout feature for me is the advanced LiDAR navigation system, which maps your home with impressive precision. It ensures the vacuum efficiently covers all areas without missing spots or retracing the same path unnecessarily. Unlike other vacuums I’ve used (looking at you, Roomba), this one almost never gets stuck, even in tight spaces or around furniture legs. Another huge plus is the self-emptying base, which makes maintenance incredibly convenient. The vacuum automatically empties its dustbin into the base after each cleaning session, so you don’t have to worry about frequent emptying. This feature alone saves so much time and effort. In terms of overall performance, it handles pet hair, debris, and dust effortlessly. It’s also quiet and intuitive to use, with an app that allows for customized cleaning schedules and zone targeting. If you’re looking for a vacuum that combines smart navigation, reliable performance, and minimal intervention, this is a fantastic option. It’s far superior to most of its competitors, including Roomba, in terms of efficiency and ease of use. Highly recommend!

The bObsweep Dustin Robot Vacuum is an impressive combo vacuum that is impressively quiet while doing its job. This is my first experience with bObsweep and the quality of the vacuum and all accessories are first rate. When unboxing, the first thing you’ll notice is how hefty and solid the vacuum itself feels. Included with the vacuum is 2 side brushes, 1 rubber main brush, 2 mop attachments, 4 mop cloths, cleaning tool, and an extra filter and dust bag. Once you get the vacuum charged up, setup is simple and straightforward with the bObsweep app. The app allows you to set specific zones for no mopping or vacuuming as well as customizing other preferences such as cleaning power for vacuuming and mopping. By default the vacuuming power is set to low and the first thing you’ll notice is just how quiet this thing is when it starts cleaning. Even though it’s set to low it is still impressive how well it cleans on low. When I first used it I had to stop the vacuum and check to see if was actually cleaning because how quite it was, to my surprise it was. If you left it on the low setting, someone could literally be sleeping in the next room and it wouldn’t wake them up, that’s how quiet it is! The loudest thing is when it docks and empties itself. I like the floor sense technology that knows if it’s carpet so it doesn’t get it wet when using the mop feature. If you’re looking for a robot vacuum that can do both mopping and vacuuming, the bObsweep Dustin is an impressively built machine that will do the job quietly!

We were very happy to welcome Dustin into our home. He’s been a great little addition to the family and was very easy to house train. We really enjoyed the little announcement card that came with him. Initial startup and setup was super easy. I HATE reading pages of instructions and found the APP very intuitive. The LiDAR mapping is superior. I use Dustin on about 1000-1200 sq ft of LVP. Both the vacuum and mop function work great. I have avery thick oriental rug in and i but do not use Dustin on that carpet. Ove used it now for over a month and really like it. I’ve made custom schedules to vacuum twice a week and mop once. He’s a good boy!

I’ve been using the bObsweep Dustin Robot Vacuum for a few days now, and overall I think it does a good job, especially for everyday maintenance cleaning. The packaging was great and everything arrived organized and well protected. Setup was fairly easy, although it was a little more complicated than I expected at first when it came to connecting everything and getting the mapping started. The vacuuming itself has been solid, especially on my hardwood floors. One thing I really like is that it can detect carpet and automatically lift the mop, which is a really nice feature and makes it feel more advanced than some other robot vacuums I’ve used. It’s also surprisingly quiet while cleaning, which I appreciate since I can still work or watch TV without it being distracting. The only time it really gets loud is during the self emptying process. The biggest downside for me has been the mopping system. The mapping could definitely use some improvement because it doesn’t always feel as accurate as I’d like, and the water tank runs out pretty quickly. I find myself having to refill it multiple times, so I think the mopping feature is probably better suited for smaller spaces. Since all of my flooring is hardwood, I use the mop feature a lot, and I just wish the water system was a little more efficient. Overall, I still think it’s a solid robot vacuum, especially for keeping floors clean day to day. With a few improvements to the mapping and mopping system, it would be even better.

As a previous robot vacuum owner of a different brand, I was hoping the Bobsweep Dustin would be good enough to know create a good map of my home, unlike my previous vacuum. I am blown away and thrilled with the accuracy of this and and precision model. It goes around furniture and obstacles with ease. It makes accurate maps with the push of a button it does not miss a single spot in my home. Bobsweep Dustin is a great Partner to anyone looking to save time and effort while maintaining a dust free floorspace. Whether you need a spot cleaned, a room cleaned, or the whole house cleaned, Dustin is a great Partner to get the job done right the FIRST time.

    Great little robot vac

My husband bought this because it was on sale and our Roomba i3 hasn’t been working properly anymore. We received the vacuum last week and the vacuum function has been working great. The app was easy to set up and Dustin mapped our home accurately. We have two small frenchtons that shed a lot and need something that can handle a ton of dirt and hair. We tried running the vacuum on low and found that it was a lot quieter than our Roomba and did a better job cleaning up the mess. In the past, we had to supplement the Roomba with our Tineco S11 because it just didn’t pick up everything. The Dustin definitely picked up more dirt. When I ran a light over the floor after vacuuming, the floor appeared clean. Dustin didn’t leave behind any debris. This was with the low setting. We turned on the medium and high settings to see how they worked but it didn’t seem like they were necessary for our floors. Maybe if we had carpet, these settings would be useful. They were a bit louder and much more noticeable than the low setting. One nice feature that we found was a self emptying bin. It seems to be working well but when the robot empties into the bin, it is a bit loud. According to the BObsweep documents, it should hold up to 1 gallon of dirt. We haven’t used the mopping feature yet but doubt that Dustin would allow us to replace our regular mop since the reservoir is small. It is a nice bonus feature though. One thing to note is that the rollers on Dustin have brushes on them. Because of this, they will need to be cleaned frequently. After 2-3 uses, my husband noticed the issue. My dogs had torn apart a stuffed toy and the fuzz from the toy stuck to the roller brushes. It was easy enough to clean. I do prefer the Roomba rollers because of the potential to get clogged. While we haven’t had the Dustin for long, I peaked at the cost of replacement parts on Bobsweep’s website. They appear to be reasonably priced and easy to order. They give you the choice of ordering a single part or rejuvenation packs. The parts seem reasonable especially when compared to genuine Roomba parts which tend to be pretty pricey. Since we purchased the vacuum at the steep discount, I’d say that the value is great. I can’t really compare to similarly priced models in the $1000 price range but for what we paid, it is far superior to similarly priced models. I’d say that it is superior to the Roomba i3 model but I’m not sure if it compares to the J5-j9 models since I haven’t tried them. If you can get the vacuum for a discounted price, it is definitely a great value and worth the splurge. Maybe it is for $1099 too. Definitely worth it to make my life a bit easier.

The Bobsweep, a true modern marvel, has found its place on our dark-stained wooden floors in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. This compact robotic cleaner is not just a vacuum; it's a versatile mopping maestro, a powerful dirt-devouring dynamo, and a source of canine curiosity, all wrapped up in a sleek package as it glides and maneuvers with the elegance of a ballroom dancer, our furry friends follow, their tails wagging in sync with Bobsweep's rhythmic hum. They wonder if this innovative device is a friend, foe, playmate, or a peculiar intruder on their hardwood territory. The Bobsweep is not just a cleaning tool; it's a performance. It transforms the mundane chore of floor cleaning into a captivating show that could rival any entertainment. And what an audience we have! The dogs, our lovable skeptics, provide a lively commentary with their barks and quizzical looks. They trail behind it as if it's the pied piper of cleanliness, leading them on a merry chase from one room to another. But let's not forget the main act – the cleaning performance. On our dark-stained floors, the Bobsweep moves with purpose, its brushes tenderly caressing the wood, picking up every speck of dust and debris with a gentle yet firm touch. The mopping feature? A stroke of genius! It leaves a sheen on the floor that reflects not just the overhead lights but the sheer brilliance of this robotic cleaner's design. In conclusion, the Bobsweep is not just a household appliance; it's a centerpiece of home entertainment and a practical cleaning companion. It's the talk of Owens Cross Roads, our home, and the buzz among our canine companions. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then the Bobsweep must be the guardian angel of our floors, with a fan club of dogs to boot!

Dustin is the best robo vacuum in the market toda.

The best robo vacuum thus far I have owned. I loved it so much, that had to buy the second one for the upper floor. It’s super intelligent and easy to operate the device using the App. I have the audacity to say that this machine is heavily dependent upon the App. Once you figured out the use of the App and how to draw the map, the rest becomes automated. First step is the setup process that mostly involves the network connection to your local home WiFi. Then let the machine run around and map the floor plan. Then launch the app open the map to block the areas that Dustin might get stuck. From the map menu click on the scissors icon, then touch the area that you want to block the Dustin from entering the area that will get stuck in there. The map will drop a square box at the touch of your finger. Size up the square frame based on the area you want to block. Then click on the save option to save the map. You can also block the exact area whenever the vacuum cleaner gets stuck in a new area, then open the map to see the exact spot where it got stuck. Touch that area to drop the square box. If the area is too small for the square barrier, then you’ll have an option to use a line instead of the square barrier to block that particular area. You can change the size of the square box in any shape or size you want to block a particular area. I had many robotic vacuums in the past. I’ve never been so content with any previous ones, inasmuch as I’m happy with this little fella. The house floors are immaculate from dust. I don’t have to break my back twice a week to mop the floors. Dustin is an intelligent fella in its sphere and a good companion to have it in our home.

This Dustin model is a huge upgrade from my Pethair Vision+ bobsweep vacuums. I love the mapping feature and how rugged this vacuum is. It moves with purpose and leaves a beautiful pattern on my area rugs. It almost never gets stuck and if it does, it's because it's choking on a wire I didn't secure well. It is good for day-to-day floor and rug vacuuming during the week, but once a week I vacuum with my heavy-duty vacuum for a deeper cleaning. I highly recommend this vacuum!

I’ve been using the robot vacuum for a few weeks now, and I have to say it’s been surprisingly convenient. The best part is that it takes care of cleaning on its own, so I can focus on other things while my home stays tidy. The suction power is quite good for dust and pet hair, though it doesn’t always give a deep clean on very thick carpets. On hardwood and tile floors, however, it works really well. The sensors do a good job avoiding furniture, and while it sometimes gets stuck in very tight spots, it usually manages to get out on its own. The mapping feature is very useful since it cleans in a more organized way instead of moving around randomly. I also love being able to control it from my phone and schedule cleanings even when I’m not at home. The battery lasts long enough to cover several rooms, and the best part is that it automatically returns to its charging base when needed. Overall, it’s a great help for daily cleaning, keeps dust from building up, and makes it much easier to maintain a clean home without much effort. It doesn’t completely replace a deep cleaning, but as a complement, it’s really useful and worth it.

"OK" Budget Vacuum for home w/wall to wall carpet

The bObsweep Dustin Robot Vacuum & Mop, Auto-Empty Odor Control Dock with 1 Gal Capacity is an "ok" vacuum for those looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum. I didn't find it to be particularly effective for my use, but your results may differ. Everything was packed tightly into a relatively small box, which is great for the environment. There is really not much to do for setup and once I was ready, I set "Bob" (the name we gave him) off to get to work mapping. He had a very difficult time doing that. We mostly have hardwood floors with rugs. Every single time Bob went over a hallway or entry rug, either he would get stuck or he would leave the rug all topsy-turvy so that he would get stuck on his way back. After the mapping, when we would set him off to vacuum, he would do the same thing - without fail. He couldn't get through a whole house vacuum. I found no way to adjust for the depth of the rug it was vacuuming, and I don't see that it adjusts on its own. It just gets stuck. We did find that it was able to able to suck up a good amount of cat hair, and we found that because it only dumps after every cleaning by default, not when it is full. Apparently, Bob doesn't have a sensor to know when he is full. So we dumped it manually. You are able to adjust the dumping in the app, but that is for less dumps, not more. With cats and their hair, I need Bob dumped more than once during a cleaning. The settings only allow you to choose how many cleanings to wait before he dumps. I need it to dump when it's full. So now, it just goes around stuffed because I don't want to keep checking on it. But we also found no dust or dirt had been vacuumed up. So, it seems what's on the surface is what gets sucked up. It does have an adjustment for sucking power - and we had it on medium. Bob had a lot of trouble getting started vacuuming, basically going back and forth and around and back and forth in the same little area over and over. It seemed to enjoy getting stuck between chair legs quite a lot. It felt like forever, that it was stuck, but it was more likely about 2-3 minutes like this before he took off. It is a very quiet robot and it does tend to move about with some speed. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I did not use the mopping function since it can't manage to get over the rugs. This vacuum does connect to both Amazon and Google for voice control over some features. Overall, I would not recommend the Dustin Robot Vacuum & Mop, Auto-Empty Odor Control Dock with 1 Gal Capacity to anyone with area rugs. I found it got tripped-up going over every area rug, I couldn't adjust the depth of the vacuuming, it doesn't dump often enough nor does it have a setting to make it more frequent than dumping after each cleaning, and its movement seems confused. If your home is all wall to wall carpeting, perhaps it will do better for you.

I bought this for my mother who is loosing her vision. This seemed to be a good choice for what I needed. The advanced mapping and self learning is working great. As for cleaning I can say it is thorough. It got stopped up on the first run from dust under the bed. Other than that it was easy to use. One thing I must say is product support it Top Notch. They were great helping to set up the vacuum as I could not help because I was not there. The mop does not work well but I did not buy it for that. It is a great tool for keeping things tidy between deep cleans. The mapping of a house is very advanced as well and the app is easy to use. My mom loves it and manages it with the phone and she is elderly.

Dustin I bought Dustin on a black friday deal. I am like a kid with a new toy. I love Dustin. Watching him map the house, as he cleaned for the first time, was very entertaining. Once a map was created, I was able to create no sweep zones and no mop zones within the map to keep him from getting tangled up or running into something breakable or wetting an area rug. Yes thats correct Dustin can mop your floors! Dustin can create up to three different maps. In addition to following a schedule, Dustin can also be sent out to clean a designated room or area at any given time. I never thought I would use a robot vacuum, but I couldn't resist the price. Now I am so happy I did. I don't have to clean floors anymore!! Yes, I recommend this product.

The mapping and overall functionality is very good for this model. Strong overall vacuum suction and leaves nice tracks in the carpet. We've used the mopping feature several times and the spinning mop heads seems to do a noticeably better job than our other model which is the Dustin vacuum/mop but that mop does not spin it just drags the wet mop pads. So far we are impressed with this model; quiet, powerful and well suited for cleanups between occasional deep cleans.
