This robot vacuum/mop has completely and positively changed how we manage our downstairs cleaning during the week! We are a busy two-professional working household with a toddler, dog, and another kiddo on the way, and it likely goes without saying that we have had trouble keeping up with cleaning, particularly in the highest traffic areas of our kitchen and dining area where we do everything from messy arts and crafts to dealing with the daily spectacle of pieces of food being tossed asunder by our energetic two-year-old. We are fortunate to have a wireless stick vacuum that we frequently use, but even so, we are rarely able to get a good “reset” of our kitchen and dining room as we would really prefer. Enter the bObsweep Maxim. This All-in-one robot vacuum and mop has really blown us away with its versatility and, most importantly, its autonomy in cleaning! This is truly about as “set it and forget it” as you will get for a vacuum/mop robot. Not only does it have the ability, via the dock, to empty the vacuum and dirty mop water this robot collects, but it can also do a hot-water wash and heated drying of the mop pads!!! This feature alone is critical and sets it apart from other vacuum/mop robots I have used that leave this chore to the user (and generally as a result, gets completely neglected). The setup of the bObsweep was straightforward and easy to follow via the included paper instructions. Parts boxes were labeled and pull tabs and plastic wraps were clearly marked with where and when to remove them during the setup process. After getting it set up and connected to Wi-Fi, I went ahead and put it on a mapping-only trip. This process took about 15 minutes for my approximately 950-square-foot first-floor living space, and I was quite impressed by the map it churned out on the other side of its exploration. It is worth mentioning at this point in the review that I think the app is quite mediocre in 2026, but it is serviceable and usable for navigating various settings and, in this case, setting room boundaries and labels for our downstairs living space. Once this was accomplished, I set it up to run nightly, alternating between vacuum-only cycles and vacuum-and-mop cycles. This has seemed to be a good balance for cleaning for us and has appeared to help keep the use of the cleaning solution and water reserves well managed. On mop nights, I have it set to do a medium-depth mop and vacuum. Once a week on our Sunday nights, my wife and I decided to make it our “tidy up” night, and I have the bObsweep Maxim set to vacuum and mop in depth for the whole downstairs, which is a combination of carpet, artificial hardwood flooring, and area carpets. I am happy to report it performed this task with excellence when we ran it on the first Sunday night, taking about 52 minutes total, and, at the end, emptied out some pretty disgusting mop water from the bObsweep and picked up quite a lot of dirt from our carpets too. I really think it is hard to convey to folks who don’t have kids or pets just how dirty a place can get, even after a few days. Humans and dogs, to say the least, are not sterile creatures, haha! Additionally, after this in-depth whole downstairs clean, we did not find any evidence of “accidents” with the robot mopping carpet or getting it wet. It actually, both impressively and incredibly, retracts its mop pads way up above its lowest points of contact to ensure that they come into no or minimal contact with any of the carpeted surfaces, which is quite impressive indeed! Altogether, I am extremely pleased with this vacuum/mop combo robot. I will come back to this review if I need to edit it based on longevity or maintenance concerns, but at this present time, I am quite thrilled with the performance over a solid week of daily use. 5 out of 5 stars, and especially when this goes on sale, I would recommend you buy it without hesitation.

First impressions on the Maxim Robot are below. First thought out of the box was that the base station was enormous. The overall appearance of the unit is very sleek. Almost resembles a stealth aircraft when compared to other robot appearances. The map features are very impressive, accurate and easy to perform. The home screen of the app has a lot of buttons with pictures and no quick reference guide to know what I’m pressing. The vacuum feature is power and not loud when set to max suction. Mop settings are good. I like how the unit mixes cleaning solution when it’s ready to mop. The base does an excellent job cleaning and drying the mop pads. Mop pads do a great job cleaning the floors without leaving excess water behind. The robot covers edges and along walls very well. The schedule feature works well for setting time, jobs, and rooms. After two weeks of use the robot has yet to complete a scheduled task without getting hung on cords or stuck under a cabinet or furniture. The robot does not get on thick rugs but does go around them.

The [Bobsweep Dustin Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop] is a solid mid-range robot vacuum designed mainly for pet owners and people who want an affordable self-emptying cleaning system. One of its biggest strengths is convenience. It uses LiDAR navigation and mapping technology to move through rooms more efficiently than older random-navigation robot vacuums, and the self-emptying dock reduces how often you need to empty the dustbin manually. It also includes mopping functionality, app controls, scheduling features, and decent suction power for everyday dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors. Many users like that it can map rooms quickly and create cleaning zones through the app. RTINGS and several user reviews also praised its room coverage and smart mapping features. ([RTINGS.com][1]) However, the vacuum does have noticeable weaknesses that keep it from competing with premium brands like Roborock or higher-end Roombas. If your home has lots of thick carpet, pet hair buildup, cords, toys, or obstacles, you may find its navigation and cleaning performance frustrating over time. For the price, though, many buyers still feel it offers good value and useful automation for everyday maintenance cleaning.

The bObsweep Maxim is one of many robot vacuums which came out in the market recently. That said, this is one of their premium models as this is a wet vacuum system. In this review, I will give my first impression on this vacuum cleaner. When I first received the item, I was quite surprised on how big the shipping box and how heavy the whole package was. Now the size of the model may be a dealbreaker for some but somehow I can find space to “park" the robot in my house. Out of the box are four boxes. The biggest one houses the base of the vacuum which has two tanks – one for clean water and one for dirty water hence the size. The next box is for the vacuum itself which we’d refer to as Maxim. The next two boxes contain the accessories and cleaning solution. The setup of the Maxim is quite straightforward, and the laminated quick setup guide is quite helpful not to mention that it also has video links on the matter. After removing all the decals on the Maxim and finding a spot to park it you fill the base with cleaning solution and fill the clean water tank with water. It is preferred that you use distilled water or filtered water so as to prevent mineral buildup in the unit during the long term. Next is you install the side brush on the bottom of the Maxim. Then you install the mop attachments on the Maxim. You then attach the included ramp to the base. Place the Maxim on the ramp and power on the Maxim. Charging is roughly three hours. Of course, this robot has an app available. And like all apps you need to register and do the initial setup. To ensure a smooth wifi connection the Maxim utilizes 2.4Ghz. It is best that you setup your router to have separate wifi bandwidths instead of auto change bandwidth. This way, the Maxim as well as other internet connected devices such as cameras won’t get disconnected much. Once charged, you then begin to map your house. Now depending on your home’s layout, mapping can be a breeze or may take some time. Also, make sure clutter is minimized so that mapping can be optimized. Now that your house ismapped, you can now start your first clean. The app pretty much controls everything. You can have several maps and do some programming and view at your cleaning history. After each clean, the Maxim (obviously) returns to base and drains the water and does a self cleaning. This may be a bit noisy but that it is expected. One obvious thing though is you need to monitor water levels making sure the dirty water tank is drained and cleaned once full and making there is enough water in the clean tank and corresponding cleaning solution. Being a new unit, I am pleased with the performance. However, I have no idea how long the mop attachments need to be replaced. Also, I’ve noticed the roller brush is rather small compared to other brands. But again, so far it worked well the first time. The real key performance indicators for me are the mapping technology used and the object avoidance. We’ll soon find out.

Tis is it time to upgrade i went with the Bobsweep Maxin all in one. I have to say this is HUGE it's not a small item so make sure you have room to place it. This is well packed i didn't think it had all the stuff that i got in it. So you get the 2 tanks 1 for clean water and the other for dirty when you take them both off there is a spot to add the full bottle of cleaning solution in. When you open the front door you get a huge dump vacuum bag in the front door. You get 2 bottles of cleaning solution 2 side sweepers 2 different mop head covers and air filter. This is so quiet you don't know it's running and cleaning the floor or carpet. My other one was so loud you couldn't be home and have it running. Well after it mops the floor you wont have to worry the carpet isn't wet at all that was my big concern with the mop vac. This connects with 2.4 WIFI so if you only have 5 you might just be out of luck. I do not like how this runs towards the walls it wont go all the way to the wall it leaves 5 to 5 inch gap but if it runs down the wall it's good. The battery doesn't seem to be able to do the whole house on 1 run. It also had issues with the top of the stairs and kept going almost off the top. This cleaned the hard floors great just to little issues with the leaving space from the wall and the stairs.

I recently purchased the Maxim bobSweep Vacuum Mop, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This device has completely simplified my cleaning routine. The combination of vacuuming and mopping in one machine saves me so much time, especially during busy weeks. The suction power is impressive — it easily picks up pet hair, dust, and debris from both hard floors and area rugs. The mopping feature leaves my floors looking fresh without streaks, and I love that I can run both functions in one cycle. It navigates smoothly around furniture and transitions between rooms without any issues. Another big plus is how quiet it is compared to other robotic cleaners I’ve used. Setup was straightforward, and maintenance (emptying the bin and cleaning the pads) is quick and easy. Overall, the Maxim bobSweep Vacuum Mop delivers strong performance, convenience, and great value. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to keep their home clean with minimal effort.

The new Maxim model from the Canadian company named bObsweep is at or near the top of the line of eight current models. The all-in-one charging station stands a robust 19 inches tall and towers over its peers with its height and capabilities such as the 5-liter fresh water supply. With the help of automation or at the sight of an unwanted dust bunny, you can decide the timing of just when Maxim either vacuums or wet mops or both. Maxim benefits from its lineage as a descendant from a number of previous bObsweep products. From the get-go, the bObsweep company’s means and methods impress. Packaging is stellar, with a non-descript outer shipping box and first-level graphics and quality throughout the retail box’s exterior and interior. Particularly impressive is the owner’s manual, as well as the quick start guide and warranty card, all of which appear bi-lingually in English and French, in font sizes actually large enough to read and is as impressive as I’ve ever seen in a product. Maxim sucks at a hearty strength of 22,000 Pa doing so from its height of 3.8 inches and a diameter of 13.4 inches. Color choices include Imperial Red or Titanium, a subtle color choice that probably helps Maxim sneak up and overpower unsuspecting dirt. Maxim can run about 120 minutes per charge on its 5200 mAh battery and the LiDAR, VisiOn™ Camera & QSLAM® optical technology help make the maps and drive the clean route home on them. The associated app for IOS was a little glitchy getting installed, taking numerous attempts to finally achieve success. Also, the setup of the Wi-Fi connection was very problematic in the first location we tried and then worked flawlessly in the second location, that used a different Wi-Fi system. This was probably due to router settings centered around the availability of a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, that this unit requires. The mechanics of assembly are pretty straight forward, just snap on the front ramp to the charger and add the cleaning solution and fresh water. They recommend distilled water if your water supply is prone to include a lot of minerals, so as to minimize the accumulation of deposits within the machine. You’ll also need to fasten the side brush, choose one of two different types of scrubbing cloths to attach to the mop attachments and then affix the mop attachments via magnetic mechanisms to the underside of Maxim for the mopping function. Once things are all connected, charged, updated and registered, there are a few settings you will need to address that relate to the area that you are going to be cleaning, such as if there are stairs to be detected, carpet versus non-carpeted areas requiring specific cleaning, etc. With those related items determined, the busy little bot will run around bumping into things until it creates a map of the rooms that it can get into. They call this a “Swift Map” and they recommend removing the mop attachments temporarily while Maxim does this mapping, with no cleaning happening yet. This information will allow you to address each room as needed for cleaning or allow you to combine rooms for clarity or efficiency. The app will allow you to program cleaning areas automatically in the future or on demand as required. Of course, the devil being in the details, will require you to be conscious of and habitually aware of floor clutter to be minimized to avoid snagging Maxim’s path and maximize his cleaning. Things like cords, certain types of throw rugs, fringed carpet, chairs and anything on the floor that would impede Maxim’s path would all be targets of decision to consider moving, to allow for more efficient cleaning. My first effort of only vacuuming went pretty well even with a fringed rug with a busy design on top of a laminate floor in the middle of the test room. I tucked the fringe under the ends of the rug, not utilizing the fringe protector optional part recommended by bObsweep. Maxim, with some effort, made it up and over the ends, struggling just a bit due to the thickness. My next test was with the mopping pads attached and all of the water and cleaning solution in place. This did not work very well with the rug edges and fringe tucked under due to the height, so I ditched the rug and just let Maxim do the flat floor and it went much better. In comparing the map path of the vacuum with the rug versus the vacuum and mop path without the rug, the path was much more direct without the rug. This may be due to the edge sensor being on, which keeps Maxim from falling down steps, but also takes issue with light and dark edges such as are on some rugs. So, if you have no steps to worry about, you can turn off the edge detection and it may work more consistently. Also, be aware that the mop heads lift automatically when carpet is detected so the carpet does not get wet. My difficulty came with the extra thickness of the fringe tucked under the edge of the carpet coupled with an already thick rug. After a mopping session ends, Maxim cleans and rinses the mop pads and then quietly heats and dries the pads taking several hours to do so. You need to take away the dirty water, clean the dirty water reservoir and fill the clean water to replace the water used. The floor came out very clean after the mopping and I was quite happy with the results. Products of this type for automatically vacuuming and mopping floors compared to manually doing so are a bit like a beaver disguised as a platypus. One might look a little like the other, but they are pretty different. While claiming to be somewhat self-sufficient, there are still a lot of preparatory and maintenance tasks that are required just like manual methods. So, do you save any time? Do you save any effort? My take is that Maxim is a hard worker, but takes a long time and sometimes gets confused with a task you could do a lot quicker and better. Maxim cleans up after his tasks are done, but still depends on you to ultimately keep up on his maintenance. Not unlike having a new toddler in the house, the house needs to be ready for whenever a cleaning is expected, and afterword, see to it that the maintenance of the tool is taken care of and cleaned up sufficiently to avoid having problems associated with mold or mildew. Adding water, taking away dirty water, drying the pads (done by the machine) and cleaning up any wet areas of the trays or other parts of the machine is still kind of similar to the cleanup you are doing when doing it manually. If you factor in and value the programmability/automation aspect of this type of product, especially for vacuuming, owning this unit will be useful. In comparing this product with another brand that we own, I like the performance of this unit better, especially the mopping function. The mopping function with Maxim’s spinning pads is certainly more effective than fixed pads, although a bit more complicated. It does not seem like there is a huge visual difference between many of the models currently out there, but certainly there are performance differences that are probably only really appreciated through direct experience, which is hard to achieve for an individual. Brand reputation, privacy concerns, reliability and parts longevity availability should all play a part in deciding on a particular unit for your home. I would definitely consider buying this unit at the pricing that it is currently selling at, but not at the suggested retail price that is for some reason considerably more. It doesn’t have industry-leading suction power, the longest run time available, or a fancy pet camera compared to some of its competitors, but I would recommend this product to a friend because it works well, the company impresses me in numerous ways, the features are impressive and at its current price, is quite competitive.

I’ve had a robot vacuum with both vacuum and mop features for a couple years now, and it has been a massive timesaver. It doesn’t quite hit the quality of hand cleaning, but it keeps a pretty good baseline clean if run at standard intervals, like twice a week. Unfortunately, my prior Robot has done its duty well enough for long enough but now needs to be replaced. I decided to try out a different brand, so I grabbed a bObsweep Maxim All-in-One. Pros: - Easy to follow setup instructions with a physical laminated info card! - App controls are simple and straightforward. - Mapping function works well. - Comes with multiple spare parts. Cons: - Mop heads come off when running over objects. - Default cleaning settings leave quite a bit on the floor. Setup: I was impressed with how thoughtful bObsweep was in organizing the packaging for the Maxim Robot, each part was fit into 1 of 4 clearly labeled boxes. A detailed laminated instruction sheet was included, outlining each part and providing guided steps for setup of the Maxim in both English and French. Included in the box is the Maxim robot vacuum & mop unit, charging station that also houses the clean & dirty water tanks and dustbin, spare parts (2x side brush, dust bag, filter, 2x different types of mop heads), 2x cleaning solutions, and maintenance tools. Everything is very clearly labeled in the packages; I always knew what I was opening. First steps included setting up the Charging Station; adding the provided cleaning solution and filling up the Clean Water tank, just remember to remove the silicone packs before adding water. There is already a pre-installed dust bag, plus a spare included. Next is setting up the Maxim robot by removing all the packing tape and foam, then installing the side brush and mops, which snap on easily. Once that is complete, you can either place the Maxim in the charging station or have it return home on its own by pressing Go button to turn it on and then the Charge button to send it to the charging station. The last step in the guided setup is to connect the Maxim to the Wi-Fi using the bObsweep app. The hardest part of setup was getting the product boxes out of the main box, otherwise unpacking and setup was easy thanks to the clear instructions. App: I’m one for keeping it simple, and bObsweep keeps it simple with the app. Simply create an account or login, then select add bot and follow the instructions. I did encounter a minor issue with the app not refreshing back to the home page after successfully adding the Maxim. But once I closed the app and reopened it, the app opened right into the Maxim Robots control tab. The control page for the Robot reminds me of a digital remote control, big and clearly labeled buttons. At the top of the Device page is the current status with the current task, nickname for your device, model, and battery level. The main buttons are Wash, Dry, Wet On/Off, Go/Stop, Charge, and Empty. I found the controls to be self-explanatory in that each button is the command to tell the robot what you want it to do. I found the app to be very responsive and quick, though if the Robot is in the middle of an operation, you must hit Stop and wait for the task to stop before it will allow you to give it another command. If you’re going to change anything in the app, I would recommend going to Bot Settings  Cleaning Preferences  to adjust the default Vacuum Power and Mop Intensity, as these are defaulted to low and light. Additionally, I would suggest enabling the EdgeReach for the Side Brush and Mop, as this allows the Robot to reach out and get the edges with the side brush and mop while cleaning. I also enabled Auto-Resume so that the Robot would resume cleaning if it needed to stop to charge in the middle of a job. The App also allows you to modify the Map, setting up zones for avoidance or vacuum only, to help avoid any obstacles the Robot might encounter. Additionally, scheduled cleanings can be set with specific functionality like vacuum suction strength or mop intensity. Beyond that are details about the historical runs, which helps identify the last time it cleaned, the duration and area covered, and any issues that were encountered. Navigation & Mapping: I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the self-mapping functionality was for the Maxim Robot; it was able to clearly map out our floor plan while identifying walls, furniture, and objects. I like that bObSweep has the robot update the mapping each run, as we often move things around or place a temporary item down that then gets added to a mapping incorrectly. Navigation was good, I only had to rescue the Maxim 2 out of 6 runs so far, with both times due to the mop heads coming off as it went over an object that caught the mop heads. Both cases were really my own fault as I hadn’t setup no mop zones on the front-entry rug and an avoid zone on the dog food/water mat. In both cases, all I had to do was reattach the mop pad then press go and the robot continued cleaning. After I setup a no mop zone for the front-entry rug and an avoid zone around the dog’s bowls, there were no more accidents. Cleaning: For context, my main floor has all hardwood with a thick 10ft by 8ft front-entry rug to catch all the dirt when people come in and multiple pieces of furniture the robot must avoid. By no means is it a small and simple room setup, as the layout often changes week to week with different events or items being brought in. It is quite the test for any robot vacuum. The default cleaning settings were very underwhelming, leaving the edges under the counters and furniture uncleaned along with larger pieces of debris on the floor. Checking the settings after the first run of cleaning, I found the Suction Power and Mop Intensity set to Low. Bumping these up to their maximum greatly improved the quality of the cleaning results, even just increasing to medium was a far better result over the default Low settings. I’m not sure if that was by design or just an accident, but I would not recommend leaving the default settings based on the results I had. Additionally, enabling the EdgeReach and Auto-Resume allow the Maxim to reach the corners it previously missed and resume cleaning after having to return for charging midsession due to low battery. The following results were much better, and a vast improvement over our old robot vacuum. I liked the addition of a cleaner solution to the Robots mopping, as this left the floors cleaner than with just water, such as in the kitchen where sticky spills would need to be wiped up with a towel. The Maxim cleared up most of it with ease on the higher settings. The following runs were all successful, with the Maxim needing to run 2 times for each job due to running out of juice about halfway through. I didn’t mind this at all as I just setup a schedule and let the Robot do its thing. Maintenance: Maintenance will primarily be refilling and emptying the water tanks or detangling one of the brushes. I’ve not used the Maxim enough to get a full idea of how often I’ll need to refill and empty the water tanks but based on our scheduled cleanings, I’d guess we’ll have to refill the clean water every 2.5-3 weeks and empty the dirty water monthly. As for brush detangling, the included tool will be very helpful at cutting through any hair caught up in the brushes (edge brush or main brush). There is an air filter on the top of the Maxim, under a magnetic cover that will need to be replaced, I’m guessing when the app notifies you of it. Same with the dust bin bag in the Charging Station, though the bag is large so I’m guessing it will take about a year to fill for us. Though it could be sooner based on usage and how much is picked up each cleaning. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a Robot Vacuum and Mop, then the Maxim All-in-One Vacuum & Mop by bObsweep is a great consideration. The setup is easy with the included detailed instructions, an easy-to-use app with multiple cleaning options and the power to clean while reaching those corners and edges. It will an initial run or two to get the floor map down and set zones for avoidance or vacuum only, while also adjusting the default cleaning settings to get better results. Overall, I really like the results so far and will be keeping it on a bi-weekly schedule going forward!

I have to start by saying I’m always open to an alternative player in the game when something sounds promising enough. I’ve owned the competitors’ products for many years now and can pretty much depend on the experience. Unfortunately, in this case, I don’t think it’s living up to the promise. I’ve named my Maxim “Mad Max.” Unfortunately I should have called it Waldo, because every attempt I’ve made to use it so far has resulted in an unexplained disappearance and a search around my apartment. Not only does it get stuck under things that my other vac would know not to go under, it chooses to do so without making any noise. Even right now I have no idea where it is, and I’m disappointed enough to say I’m not really trying hard to find it. The app is rudimentary compared to others and offers basic functionality. The mapping function seems not to have any rhyme or reason, which also contributes to these disappearances. It drove past a very substantial wad of dog hair (she sheds nonstop) every single time it ran, to the point I’m not sure it has cleaned anything. Even the dirty water container only has a super small amount of liquid in it. I unfortunately cannot recommend this product.

I’m happier with this bObsweep than two other robot vacs we’ve tried so far since he gets or keeps himself out of trouble better so far, and is a little quieter, plus his little brush seems to reach the corners well. The app took a little getting used to, and I was glad to have the book that came with him. Once I used the Support feature in settings, using the app was easier. You can mark off rooms after it maps, can set no mop zones, and do what most other apps let you do. You can turn off the mopping if you just want vacuuming. I like the spot clean feature to be able to sweep (and mop) a small spot if that’s all I need. Mapping was simple and quick using the Swift Map! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly this went and I didn’t have to follow him around. We were cleaning in no time at all. The appliance came with a large get started sheet and setting it up was easy. The water tanks have handles to carry them back and forth and the tops open without any trouble. Emptying the dirty water bin was simple. I’ve done full, room, and spot clean. He has a weird way of going about his cleaning, but he gets the job done. He’s fairly quiet when running, though the emptying of the dustbin into the dock bag is noisy (just like any other). We keep the appliance in the laundry room with maybe a little less clearance than it says to give it, but it’s been just fine (I just have to remember to open the laundry room door when I start him up, ha!). I like that he doesn’t bump, and bump, and bump so hard against stuff while he’s making his way around – he seems gentle so far. He fits under the bottom of my kitchen cabinets. I’ve watched him get untangled from a bathmat and handle a flat rug. I wish he didn’t put his mop pads down quite so quickly when leaving the carpeted areas, but they aren’t soaking, so that’s not too big of a deal. He did get caught up on a thick window A/C power cable, but I got the alert and was able to get him back on the floor and moving again. He started right back in on the routine. What I have noticed, that takes a star off, is that the mop pads aren’t pre-moistened as he starts, so the pad aren’t wet for the first couple of passes. A work around is to do a quick spot clean or to start the pad wash cycle and stop if after a minute (then stop the drying cycle) to get them wet ahead of time. Note that you might want to start off with clean floors and have bObsweep keep them clean, as any, ahem, left spots that haven’t been cleaned up in a while tend to not get scrubbed up. Overall, I think I’m going to be happy with robot vac and mop since he’s quiet(ish), doesn’t give me fits, and has a decent app to control it.

My wife and I have gone a few rounds with robot vacs, but really haven’t been able to use one for a long period of time. They all seem to fall short, and we end up having to go behind it and clean up again. That is definitely not the case with this Maxim by bObsweep. We have been using it for about a week now and have been happy with the amount of time this little bot has been saving us. Setup was pretty straightforward. I highly recommend scanning the QR code on the quick start guide and watching the setup video. The video does an amazing job of walking you step by step through the complete setup process. Once you have the edge brush, mop pads, and the station setup with water and cleaning solution I downloaded the app and got the Maxim connected to the app and WiFi. I ended up naming the little bot Max, I know very creative. I did the Quick Scan of the house to get it to generate a map of our area. It did a fantastic job, and only got caught on one object which was easily remedied. It also did a pretty good job of recognizing the different areas in our house. We have an open floor plan so I did need to go back in and use the Map Tools to separate some areas and name all the rooms. After a few goes around the house already, I can say that it does the job quietly, even our little pup has gotten used to it and doesn’t even acknowledge it when it’s roaming around cleaning. It is loud when it gets back to the station and does it emptying and cleaning, but that only lasts a couple of minutes. The battery lasts almost enough to get the majority of the house, but will remember where it left off after charging back up to complete the task. There were some settings that I turned on to help with being able to avoid things in the home. Giving it permission to use the camera. It said it keeps all video local and doesn’t sent anything up to the cloud which is nice. My wife always found things she didn’t like about the other brands of robot vacs, but she has been very happy with how this one is performing. She has not felt the need to have us clean up areas after Max has done his thing, and that has to be the best review this little bot can get. Highly recommended, huge time saver.

Review of BoBsweep Maxim The latest Maxim version out of box feel and looks sturdy with clean look honoring the type of device is. It has a comprehensive features to automate the home cleaning. It mob and vacuum all in a single device with rich features from its applications for controlling and monitoring. First connecting to the App and WiFi is not very different from other type of devices and same type of vacuum. Charging in from zero state of battery, it takes about 3 hours as per the test. 13. Quick Start Guide On technical aspect, apart of battery charging time mentioned above, its noise decibel is 50dBA according to the brand. To have an idea of it, comparing to home kitchen appliance dishwasher, the most silent dishwasher goes between 37dBA to 42dBA. Then the area mapping function comes handy to know first where has been cleaned, and secondly able to vacuum only specific space based on a need without having to vacuum entire house by default. Its option for self cleaning mode helps to automate the process of maintenance at some level. Based on the usage, I still had to clean its brush and the bin for the optimal performance. But I find it very useful that I have to perform manual aspect less frequently as the bins are reasonably big, size of about 1 gallon of capacity. And about half size for dust bag. On cleaning aspect as the core of function, it does as per the design. Strong suction (22,000 pa) and the brush cover the corner edges as using three directional brushes. The mopping works well as it does cover the necessary level of how much of water to be used. Few aspects that I wish it were different: 1. Filter bag dependency. This requires to replace it once it is full of dust. Having spent what it cost, depending on additional expense to replace the filter I find a bit odd. 2. The charging time. If it is used for a house that requires enough running time but the full battery doesn’t support, the vacuum needs to go back to charge and continue once it is fully charged after 3 to 4 hours. Considering the latest tech to create what is Maxim, and in the existence of EV Auto charger that can be charged in 15 min or so, even 30 min used as reference to charge 80%, 3 to 4 hours of charging for smaller device lags feels odd it is not yet close to it. The latest Maxim All in One offer handful cleaning feature and able to automate home cleaning experience. It is the best in terms of its suction power, and dual mode of cleaning with self maintenance. Although for its best performance still requires manual intervention, still is much less than what would without it.

I have had my Bobsweep Maxim for one week and I am very satisfied with it. It was very easy to set up the Bobsweep and to connect to the internet and app. The vacuum is very quiet and does a great job cleaning. I bought this robot to replace my Roomba S9+. So far, I much prefer the Bobsweep Maxim. I especially love the mapping, the long battery life, and the extended arm sweeper. The Maxim has not gotten stuck at all. The mopping feature works well. The vacuum + base is very convenient, easy-to-use, and effective. Great product.

I've been hesitant on getting a robotic cleaner, since being one of the (failed) early adapters of a Roomba. I gave up trying to figure out how it worked, where to place the extra little box thing and other programming fails. When this bObsweep came up on Deal of the Day, I threw chance into the wind and bought it. My son and I set it up a couple days later, and it was SOOOO easy. The step-by-step quick-start (laminated!) card included QR codes and videos to make setup a breeze. Within 30 minutes, "BoB" was installed on our phones, and chasing the dog around the house and getting familiar with and mapping his new home. It transitions flawlessly from mopping the floor to vacuuming the rug. When it gets full, dry or tired, it returns to base for a check-in. Still have to figure out the scheduling part, but it can't be that hard as this is one intuitive guy. The only "issue" we've had with Bob is he got stuck in a closet with clothes on the floor - my fault, as I left the dang door open. You never realize how much stuff you have on your floor until you have to make sure all the stuff is off the floor. The dog knows to just jump up on his bed when Bob fires up. As far as the sound, it's not that loud, unelss you set it to "turbo", and even then, it's not near as loud as a vacuum cleaner - plus when you get it figured out, it will run when you're not at home anyway. Super happy with this purchase!

This is an amazing vacuum/mop. I love the way it cleans, its suction is way better than most vacuums. Very much worth the money!

Coming from a cheaper entry level bObsweep Dustin, this Maxim is fantastic. It's a lot quieter, the mop function is extremely good, the controls are more intuitive. The only downside I've noticed is after a few days it seems to not follow previous maps, but a simple reset and remap fixed this issue.

Cleans very well, loved it untill it just stopped working and throwing errors for no reason within the 1st 30 days of having it. Returned to get a new one. Pretty sure i was sent a refurbished because housing had water in it, there was no informational sheets in box and no extra parts that were included in the 1st one I bought. Now this one keeps throwing LiDAR Bumper error every time I tell it to clean. If you can get one that works correctly I would definitely recommend especially if you have animals. On my way to return for the second time.

It really cleans the house. Vacuum the floor ,washes the carpets, goes into places under the bed. the only thing keep in mind you have to set it up correctly sort of like program .

I didnt recognize the name, however this was my first one and decided to give it a try. Love how easy it was to set up and just get the thing going. So far very happy with it
