Love my ORB-I
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this ORB-I! I thought it would take me hours to program this thing but it’s so smart, it programs itself. The remote app is great. It shows you the map of the first floor and you can save it. You can schedule it to vacuum any day at a certain time. Looks like it needs maintenance once in a while but I love it so far.

Works awesome when it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Not Great for pet hair. It gets clogged really easily with it. I bought it for the auto empty, which it can't do because of the ball of pet hair. 2. I bought it 54 days ago and it has stopped working. It said there was a contact sensor error or there was an issue with the suction. Turns out, things somehow get sucked INTO the machine, where all the mechanics are. I don't know how to get it out but I tried to vacuum it. And then it just stopped turning on completely. It's dead. Maybe I got a dud, I dunno but when it works, it's great. Loves to eat things so be mindful of things on the floor, especially cords. I DO recommend it if you own cats or no pets. I own a Shepard, thick long coarse hair. No Bueno.

Best home device upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This robot has been a huge upgrade. I had the iHome Juno and what an upgrade. I let it run about twice a day and the battery never runs out. It’s a great upgrade especially for the price!!!!! I have already recommended to friends and family!

Works great in basement!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great I have it in the basement with the dogs and it does need some help removing the dog hairs but that’s understandable. Easy to manage and good quality

Broke after vacuum a phone charger wire. No parts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked good before it broke. Vacuum got a hold of a charger wire and stripped the brush motor gears. Website has no replacements parts for the issue. I opened it up to see what was going on and broke the lidar connection port on mother board. So don’t open it up. Waste of money for me.

Not perfect, but we're happy with this purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two weeks, we're pleasantly surprised by this device. We were skeptical that any robot vacuum would be useful for us, so we took a chance on the lowest priced one available. I want to say that bObsweep's marketing strategy really turned me off from this brand. I see them all the time on Deal of the Day, often discounted 80% or more, which tells me that the "original" price isn't realistic at all. The list price matches what's on bObsweep's web site, so I blame the manufacturer for this and not Best Buy. It's not a good look for either, though. We have a relatively small area that we want Orbi to clean; just a living room, kitchen/dining area and hallway. At this point we're keeping the doors closed to bathrooms and bedrooms off the hall. There's no carpeted area except for a doormat in the living room. We have one German Shepherd dog, and it's a farmhouse so it's easy for dirt to get tracked in. Orbi's instructions tell you to find an unobstructed area for the charging station. We didn't want to keep it in the hall so it's placed in an area that has furniture fairly close on either side. It's an irregular space with about a 2-3 foot gap, but Orbi hasn't had any problem getting back to the base station after any of its runs. Early on, the spinning edge brush came off when it got caught under a table leg. When I put it back on, I pressed until there was a much louder "click" than I'd heard when I first installed it. After that it hasn't come off again, though there have been a couple times when it got tangled up with something that stopped it from spinning. When that happened the Orbi stopped until I cleared the problem. On the first run, Orbi found plenty of dog hair in corners and under furniture. When it returned to the charging station and tried to self-empty, it was too clogged with pet hair and I had to remove the dirt container and empty it out myself. Several days later it again alerted us to a clog when it tried to self-empty. This time the built-in dirt container on the vacuum was empty, but there was a clog in the tube leading to the dirt bag inside the charging station. I could see the clog because the tube is transparent, but I couldn't reach it easily. I finally dislodged it with a long cable tie. It would be helpful if bObsweep included a flexible tool for cleaning this area. Aside from these two incidents, though, all the functions have worked well on its daily runs. Before Orbi, there were always little clumps of dog hair hiding in corners and under furniture, and we could usually feel grit on the floor when we walked around barefoot. These are now gone. We have it set to run each morning, and we do minimal prep work ahead of time: picking up the dog toys, making sure doors are closed, and stacking chairs so it's easier for it to clean under our table. Overall, we've found our floors are noticeably cleaner day to day and we're happy with our purchase. The device seems reasonably well made and it's been working better than we really expected.

Excellent Vaccum's ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using the bObsweep Orb-i (Blackberry) for a bit and it’s honestly one of the easiest “set it and forget it” robot vacuums I’ve owned. The LiDAR mapping is the biggest upgrade—setup was quick, it mapped my rooms accurately, and it cleans in neat, efficient lines instead of bouncing around randomly. The 5000 Pa suction is no joke either: it pulls up dust, crumbs, and pet hair from hard floors really well, and it does a solid job on rugs/carpet without me having to babysit it. The best part is the self-emptying base. Not having to empty the bin every day is such a convenience, and it keeps maintenance super low. I also like that it navigates around furniture cleanly and doesn’t constantly get stuck like older robots. A couple notes: it can still struggle with cords/tassels if you leave them out, and you’ll want to keep the area fairly tidy for the smoothest runs—but that’s pretty normal for robot vacuums. Overall, if you want strong suction + smart mapping + low maintenance, Orb-i is a great pick and the Blackberry color looks sleek in person.

First Robot Vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this robot vacuum.. Wanted one without the mop feature & this has been a good one.. The mapping is great & it does a really good job.. Has impressive suction & cleaning ability.. Only 2 small issues, one, it has a hard time transferring cat & human hair from the vaccum to the stand.. Most of the time I have to take the chamber off & dump it myself.. The other issue is the brush roll gets totally clogged by my gf's long hair.. Every other use, I have to take the brush off & cut all of the hair out.. This is very annoying, they need to get the fins like Shark vacuums that don't get completely tangled by long hair.. Not a deal breaker but annoying enough to take away a star.. Wanted a robot vacuum I could let it go & just empty the base every month or so, not at all what happens.. A bit inconvenient, but still overall a good robot vacuum..

Pretty good starter with pets
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As our first robotic vacuum, I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but overall it's been a good experience. The setup was straight forward and the app is easy to use, though not always as flexible as I'd like. We have 3 cats in the house, so fur is definitely a noteworthy concern. I initially tried having the bot empty every other time and be at low suction to keep the sound down. It needs emptying every time, and turning up the suction didn't hurt the nose levels too much. Going back and forth from rugs to hardwood can leave bits at the transition just because of how the sweeper is aligned. Overall satisfied for a first time

Strong performance and convenience, with minor app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the bObsweep Orb-i for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been a solid addition to my home. The suction power is impressive—it does a great job picking up dust, pet hair, and fine debris from both hard floors and carpets. The LiDAR mapping is accurate, and once the map is set, the cleaning paths are efficient and systematic rather than random. The self-emptying bin is a big plus and genuinely reduces maintenance. Not having to empty the dustbin frequently is very convenient, especially for busy weeks. Battery life has also been reliable, easily covering my space in one run. That said, the app experience could be smoother. Occasionally it feels a bit slow or less intuitive than expected, and setting up certain features took some trial and error. It’s not a deal-breaker, but there’s room for improvement on the software side. Overall, this is a powerful and dependable robot vacuum with excellent cleaning performance and useful automation features. With a more refined app experience, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Just vacuum, please.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This model was on sale from nearly $500 to $185. As a former iRobot 6 Roomba (base model) user for 3 years, I needed to upgrade. I tried this company and discovered a few things in comparison : it's flimsier; the plastic is thinner. It doesn't have a handle to pick it up and move it. It's very tech dependant - apps, internal mapping, codes. You can't see the contents of what it picks up - which is important because it picks up lost jewlery, hair clips, "things" that might be wanted. BENEFITS: its much quieter, it can be used without going on apps or programing to alexa, and without "setting room zones" etc. If I just let the thing roam, it is basically remembering every room anyways - it has an internal memory. That being said, the company assumes my rooms look the same everyday, but this unit seems to just be vaacuming anyways. Lastly, it leaves beautiful patterns because on the rugs, and the first time it vacuumed up a cup of pet hair in 15 minutes, so it's powerful beyong my old machine. I was very close to returning it. The user manual doesn't tell you why things blink, but the best buy help chat girl did! I'm going to register the warrenty now, and use up my $185 worth of new vacuum. I have luxury problems, for sure. God Bless.

Surprisingly thorough on coverage!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok - so we finally jumped onto the robotic vacuum bandwagon. Got it out of the box, followed the quick start instructions and turned it loose after its 4 hour charge. We have a very odd shaped single floor home. We spontaneously decided to give this thing a go and didn't do any 'putting things back in their place' before turning it on. So it was definitely going to be a real life test run. After the first 10 minutes I was pretty sure we just blew our money as it was missing 'large' sections, stopping way short of walls, not entering entire rooms, but repeating itself in other sections. I was annoyed but didn't interfere with it and let it do its thing. However, I did check on it from time to time to make sure it didn't get stuck or die - it never did either. This thing IS AMAZING! It back tracked and got all the 'missed sections' in the middle of the room, it drove itself - almost directly - back to get other rooms it had 'missed' like it knew exactly where they were, and it hugged the walls (where it could) without scrapping them. It was fun to watch it navigate and go around items. After almost 3 hours it decided it was done - which impressively it was as it got all our rooms - and it drove itself straight back to its dock and cleaned itself out. Its also nice that after its run, you can go to the app and see what areas it cleaned.....and it ends up being almost a perfect floor layout of your home (minus of course where it couldn't get to due to obstacles)! I LOVE this thing. Its like having a pet that cleans up after YOU!
