I was kinda late to the robot vac party, and I'd never heard of bObsweep before. In fact, I'd only ever heard of the one brand (You know the one, everyone does), I didn't know there were several! Anyway, I saw this guy on sale and decided to give it a try since we just moved into a house with hardwood floors and we had a lot of work to do on the house, so I thought this might save us some time. I was absolutely right! Just imagine you're working on your house, or yard. Instead of cleaning up the floor where you made a mess, you can send bOb to do it and you can go jump in the shower that much sooner! I also love that you can create a schedule for the entire house or just certain areas you want cleaned regularly. Even though this model doesn't empty itself, it still deserves 5 stars (if you catch it on sale!) because the bin is actually bigger than it seems (1200 sq ft home took 2-3 weeks to get full) and you can find it on sale frequently for so much less than other brands!

I have had this little guy for a year now, so I feel as if I can speak honestly about it. The mopping function never worked. I spoke with customer service at Bob and they sent me a new mopping attachment. It still did not work. After that they said he would have to be mailed in for a servicing of some kind, however I just would rather not deal with it. So 0 out of 5 stars for mopping because it never worked. For the normal vacuum function, it works pretty average for a robot vacuum. Before this robot, I had a different brand that I gave away to upgrade to this guy and immediately regretted it. The suction isn’t as reliable as my previous guy AND he’s fallen down a full flight of stairs TWICE. Kuddos to him, though, he’s still chugging along. The app recently was upgraded and is the only reason I still use Bob. His AI capabilities are not half bad and I can block off areas for him to avoid. In regards to how the rest of him had held up, I needed a new roller because my first one seized up on pet hair but once I contacted their customer service, I quickly got a free replacement. Would I buy again? Probably not. Am I going to keep using him until he finally dies? Definitely.

bOb does an EXCELLENT job of keeping my white kitchen floor looking absolutely pristine! It vacs up the crumbs as the front passes over, then the back of the bot washes the floor. Not a single wet crumb left behind! I also use it in my entry foyer, which is a high traffic area. It leaves the floor spotless! My floors look immaculate with absolutely no effort on my part! Worth every penny!

This thing is pretty great. I had a 5 or 6 year old bobsweep, like the original, but the tech has come a long way. This version (SLAM) will map the whole floor of the house and then you can control what rooms to service. For example, right now this thing is picking up Christmas tree needles after I removed my tree. It takes a little time and effort to figure out some of it's, well, bugs or odd behavior. I'm sure BobSweep devs will address these issues but the biggest tip I can give you is this... Let's say Bob has mapped your whole floor. Now, let's say you want to sweep one room out of four. Then you use the mobile app to set "no sweep" zones to 3 of the rooms to only focus on the fourth room. Now let's say the path/route to get to the room (from the charger) is all set as a "no sweep zone". Bobby has no problem getting to the room to sweep. However when it's done it will not return to the charger until you remove the "no sweep zones". In other words, it will gladly navigate to a single room to sweep but when it's done, it will not return to the charger unless you delete "no sweep zones" to clear a path to the charger. This seems like something their QA team already knows and an update to fix this will surely come soon.

My living space is only 650 sq ft. I thought I did a pretty good job of keeping it clean. Not so, apparently! I have been pleasantly surprised (and horrified) at the amount of dirt this little monster finds! The mapping and object detection are superb. It does a very good job of avoiding pitfalls and attempting areas I'd forget about. It has managed to get under my butcher block, buffet, bed and desk. (It's only gotten stuck once, when's attempting to clean under my dresser - furniture feet fixed that.)l It's had no problem crawling under my 5-wheel desk chair or my 4 leg bar stools... Even more impressive is the amount of corner dust and dirt it picks up thanks to it's "whiskers" that sweep as it vacuums. It's fun to watch it gently bump into objects and simply turn away if it can't get past them. The app is easy to use. It shows, in real time, what the vac is doing, even if you're outside the house. So entertaining to just watch it make the rounds!! Plus it's easy to start it remotely or set a schedule. I don't mind that it's not self emptying. I prefer to see what it's found, and in fact it's already found several valuable things (pills, small parts). Overall this is a MUST HAVE.

We have 3 dogs and this little guy does a great job of getting up the dog hair on our rugs and hardwood floors. Because we have 3 dogs that shed we usually need to empty it and restart it. It has a great memory of the room layout and it is easy to clean out.

The app is kind poorly put together. The mop was cool but ultimately not worth being on the same unit. Snagged our microfiber carpet and ended up returning. Good at mapping though!

Works awesome when he isn't stuck. Gets stuck every single session. Not just under counters...under chairs, under shelves... etc. How can you make something so awesome and not engineer this aspect correctly? I guess I'd recommend it...but just barely.

I'm very impressed with the vacuuming portion and the fact that it is extremely quiet. Not so impressed with he mopping system and the ability to do things on the app.

We have two dogs and this vacuum keeps up with all the shedding. The ability to spot sweep specific areas and start remotely has come in handy on several occasions. The mopping feature works fantastic as well. My wife and i have recommended this specific model to our whole family.

I run an Airbnb, and my place is pet-friendly. I use my BoBsweep to clean the floors after the guests check out quickly. It does an amazing job. I would recommend it

Great flexibility and quality cleaning. Tackles pet hair (3 medium wire haired doxies) with aplomb. Mopping 3000 square feet of tile daily with no issues. Cleaning floors for the fun of it. Love my "Bob"! (I call her Lorena, though).

I have had this for a little over 6 months and let me tell you it’s a work horse! I have two labs that consistently run around the yard and the house. The BObsweep is set vacuum the house everyday at 10am. I have hardwood floors so the dog hair is there. Before I had the BObsweep I would see piles of dog hair if I didn’t sweep for a day or two. With the BObsweep I never have to worry about anything. The mapping feature on this is awesome. There are a few spots where the vacuum could get stuck with height limits. With the mapping feature I am able to block out areas I don’t want it to vacuum. Everyday once it does it’s full run of the house it returns to the dock and is charged up and ready to go for the next day. Giving me a peace of mind and a clean floor! You won’t regret this purchase.

With radar mapping and azing reliability its one of the best on the market. My Bob gives me no issues at all. We love this little unit. Only thing it lacks it a aelf cleaning dustbin. However for the price junp to get that this is an amazing value for what it offers.

Map is so useful, vacuum and mop can be better. Still worth it though. Definitely beats cleaning the entire house.

Unit is doing well. It took us a bit to get the mapping down right but now it seems to be avoiding where we didn’t want it to go. Would recommend this to everyone especially if you can get it on sale.

We’ve had this SLAM model for about a year now and we absolutely love it. This is our first robot vacuum and it really does the trick. I love the mapping and the various features. Overall, we are very happy with this vacuum.

Love it! Works great even with all the dog hair. Definitely worth the money

My first robot cleaner I like it with the mapping with the smart phone app cool vacuum for lazy people lol
