This thing is horrible. Skip over this poor excuse of a robot vacuum and stick with sharp or roohmba. Slightly bump the charger and Bob is suddenly worthless and adjusts the entire map. Skip over this thing.

I knew I absolutely needed a robot vacuum when I moved to a larger home with my two cats. They produce so much fluff! The pet hair slam arrived in good shape after shipping, was easy to set up and the two sweepers thoroughly clean the floor. My house is almost 2000 sq ft and it took the vacuum about 3 hours and 90% of it's battery to do. I have a few rugs and it is pretty good at navigating onto them without getting stuck. My cat who normally hides when the regular vacuum is on is not as nervous with the robot vacuum, it seems to be quieter. My only issue is that there is a lag when loading the house map, but I'm sure an app update could fix that. Thier customer service has been very helpful and friendly.

You can't go wrong investing in Bobsweep! He basically works by himself. Bob Pet Hair Slam is my 2nd Bob. My 1st one worked very hard for 5 years! He was still going strong I just wanted to try the Wifi one with self-navigation mapping, shorter in height & smaller. He doesn't get caught, SO quiet, gets all my German Shepherds hair up (plus our fosters) All I have to do is set the time & dates for him, clean him once a week & empty his bin daily that's it! WIN WIN I get a clean floor! When people come to my house they are amazed how clean my floors are. Plus you can't beat the customer service agents! And their video's on learning & repair are great!

purchasec Feb.2023 and reviewed Aug1,2024 The bObsweep Pet hair SLAM performs well enough I just bought another (self emptying this time). It moves from flat hardwood, to 1 inch thick area rug, to tile without a hitch. It works hard to get into corners. Picks up dog fur pretty well. My house is far cleaner than it was before this vac because it gets under stuff and into nooks and crannies. Yes, you'll want to move some stuff out of the way. Still easier and frees the hours you'd spend vacuuming. The mop is basically a swiffer, but they're mopped more often with bob than without. I like they include 2 washable pads. It sometimes gets stuck in the same 2 predictable places, not so bad. I have to empty the dirt container every room. But I usually only vacuum one or two rooms at a time anyway. It has to be on low power to map my 1400 sq.ft. home in one pass. Its one, HUGE annoyance: It frequently, habitually dumps its map memory or self edits to omit random areas. The kitchen behind the island? It's on the map but Bob grays it out, deciding it doesn't exist. Every 2-3 months it just can't find its map at all. Today it can't find the living room it vacced yesterday. Usually you'll have to go through the entire remapping. REPEATEDLY! EVERY 2 -3 MONTHS!!! Today I bought a different version of the bObsweep SLAM. Nothing is perfect and on the whole, my house is still cleaner with less effort. The reviews for the others in my price range scared me with different problems, lol.

Is been eight months since first Bob become a part of our family. Now we are happy owners of two. This robot vacuum is perfect, and it vacuums perfect. Without leaving dust or anything behind. I love it how is going straight when is vacuuming, in line. The app is really good too, giving you many options, to vacuum only one spot if you want, or all house. you can also control vacuum through Alexa or Google Assistant.

This is my second Bob. The first one we purchased was the Pet Plus. It did a great job and when they came out with the Slam we decided to upgrade. The Slam works way better than the Plus. I would spend lots of time taking it apart to clean off all the hair that would get wrapped around everything that turns. The Slam comes apart in second and the roller doesn't build up hair like the Plus. So maintenance is way easier. The Slam had a wet mopping attachment so you remove the vacuum bin and put in the mopping bin. I fill it with demineralized water and let it go to work at night. This help save us from having to purchase a separate mopping robot which I've been looking at doing for awhile. So this being a two in one helps tremendously. This is way quieter and slimmer than the plus. My daughter use to hate when the vacuum would run now we can have it run and watch TV and it not really be bothersome. The only downside that I have is the app but that's more software and they can update that throughout the lifespan of the hardware. So once that happens this little guy will be even better.

About two months ago (May 2023) we upgraded to a Bobsweep Pet Hair SLAM Robot Vacuum (from a Bobsweep bObi Pet that we purchased in 2018) and we're glad we did. The SLAM is a solid Bob-vac that's a great option for our main floor, and it navigates surprisingly well around the most common household furniture obstacles. It delivers on what it says, handling both hard and carpeted floors with ease, and we're also impressed with both its power and its low noise level. The mop works as you would expect provided you vacuum first and then follow the mop directions. The iOS app works sufficiently, but as of July 2023 it's still a little clunky and lacks some convenience features I would've expected from Bobsweep. Customer service is phenomenal though, and it's like a dedicated concierge. Be sure you register your Bob with the company, too, because they're super helpful when need replacement parts or want to upgrade your Bob-vac. In all, we're really happy with this upgrade and can't say enough about this company, their customer service, and their products!

The mop portion of the attachement didnt work on original delivery. I reached out to customer support and they sent another mop attachment for free, but that one didnt work either. Today I also came home after a grocery run to it having dragged through a pile of throw up and diarrhea during a scheduled vacuum session from a sick pet, ALL over the house. This product has caused me nothing but grief and money loss. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Bob is an excellent addition to our home. There are two basic kinds of robot vacuums: the ones that bounce off the walls and wander around the room randomly until the battery gives out, hoping to eventually get all the dirt; and the ones that actually map out the floor and intelligently/methodically go around until everything is covered. This is the latter, and while these are usually very expensive, a sale price made it in the same range as other vacuums, so I figured I'd give it a try. After Bob maps the floor, it is able to cover everything fairly efficiently. If furniture or other items on the floor move around, it slows it down just a little bit as it learns to navigate the area again, but it still does a good job. I am particularly impressed with its attention to edges. It very carefully gets along walls and around furniture, and it even goes around every leg of every table and chair carefully and completely. But what sealed the deal is its ability to pick up pet hair on a particular dark wool rug I have. In one pass, it did better than 4 or 5 passes with a big upright vacuum! Really impressive. I had always had trouble keeping this rug clean, but now I don't have to worry. I can program Bob to go over it once a day or as needed to keep it looking good. The one downside is the app. You need the app to see and tweak the map that Bob creates, and to create schedules. The app is buggy and has a really odd user interface. But it gets the job done, once you figure out its quirks and how to get around the bugs. If you find this at a decent price, I highly recommend jumping on it. Great product.

Normally don't review items I purchase but I just had to let others know this is the one! I absolutely love this vacuum - I've had previous robot vacuums from both iRobot and Samsung - this Bobsweep one exceeds all previous expectations. It genuinely cleans 99% of my entire house's first floor. You can actively view it doing it's thing in real time, on your phone and see a whole layout of your house. Silent mode is truly almost silent, you can enjoy a movie at mid-level volume or even low, and still hear every word spoken. I think the max schedules you can create is seven, which is more than enough for a sizeable floor/house. For it going off at all points in the day for specific rooms. It can navigate without problem. If I had any complaint, is you have to manually clean the brush head pretty thoroughly - especially if it goes over any shaggy material whatsoever. And also watch out for cables, it will gobble them up with the two side brushes. But if you have a neat environment and cable management skills, then you'll be golden. Fyi- I got this on a steal during a flash sale. But would still pay full price knowing how well it works now. Love this guy!

I absolutely love this robot vac/mop. I live in an old condo that seems to generate a lot of dust. I originally ordered a different brand from Amazon & sent it back quickly due to the app coming from China. After receiving the Bobsweep PetHair SLAM I checked out the app & felt very safe. And the way it can map my condo was amazing. The app is extremely easy to use. After mapping I named each room which allows me to have a specific room cleaned. under quick clean I also divided some rooms (I have a living room/dining room combo) so I can have part of the room cleaned. The other edit I did was to draw a no sweep line in the sunroom. If you tap the home button it has the owner's manual & quick start guide. Under the schedule button I set up the unit to vacuum every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. The second schedule I have it mop every Sunday. Under settings you can choose the cleaning preferences & check for updates. Lastly the history shows each day it cleaned & how long it took to complete along with the trouble record. And I can now walk across my hard wood floors in white socks & they are clean . I absolutely love Bob!!

Holy customer service, Batman! First, let me just say that Bob is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I was so happy with the first one, that I ended up buying a second one for my house so I could have one upstairs and one downstairs. Then I bought two more for my business. Bob’s power is so significant in fact, that unbeknownst to us he picked up a mouse! Bob stopped working, and I took him apart to see if I could figure out what was going on. That’s when I found the mouse mixed in with all the dog hair. On that note, our dog sheds significantly and it’s been great to have Bob on a schedule that automatically picks up dog hair twice a day. I have Bob mop a couple times a week. This thing doesn’t miss a spot. Our floors are so clean! I can not begin to express how many hours are saved with this amazing technology. Some reviews complain about Bob getting stuck, but if you keep cords and other objects off the floor that you don’t want to get wrapped around Bob, he works exactly like he’s supposed to. Everything disassembles so easily that I found it very easy to provide service to Bob myself in most cases. In the off instances that I have had issues that I couldn’t resolve myself, I have reached out to customer support and I can honestly say I have never had a better experience. Customer support for all businesses should be so good. Responses are prompt and personal. I assume the company is somewhat large, but my experience feels very much like working with a small business. Very personal attention. In my experience with warranties, they seem to mostly cover the business and provide minimal support for the customer. That is not the case with Bob’s two-year warranty. At one point I had a hiccup that I couldn’t seem to resolve, and they offered to replace Bob. A day later I figured it out and ended up not needing a replacement. Recently, after scooping up the mouse, the mouse proceeded to really make a mess of things and damaged the brush mechanism. I contacted customer support to explain the situation, not really expecting much of a resolution, but they are replacing Bob! My enthusiasm has been pretty contagious, and now both my parents and a couple of friends have joined the Bob bandwagon. They are all as thrilled with Bob as my husband and I. One last thing that I LOVE. I can be leaving my business (fitness center) at 3pm and see the floors need some attention, but there are still people working. It is not ideal for us to run Bob while business is being conducted. So, I wait until I am home, and at about 4 PM when I know there is a break in the schedule, I can look at the map on the Bob app and designate a specific area that I want to have vacuumed. I click “Go” and watch the map to see where Bob is at any given time (because I’m a tech geek and I think it’s really cool). By the time filks start to arrive for our 5pm classes the floors are perfect. Bottom line - We all need Bob, and his outstanding customer service.

Terrific! BoB is truly amazing. It has been a great addition. The setup was awesome fast and easy. BoB was able to map the entire floor in the first go. It reaches every corner and the design is great. The spinning brushes pull-in stuff and leaves the house sparkling clean. After a couple runs I can see BoB is fully aware of layout and has picked up the pace in cleaning. The app is fantastic. the ability to map rooms, no-sweep zones (different shapes) and select specific areas to clean makes it top of line. I would certainly recommend Bob over the overpriced brands.

This little cleaning robot works great. Generally figures its way out of possible blockages and covers an entire room nicely. Vacuum power seems very good, and gets dirt/dust up even AFTER I have used my regular upright vacuum. Set up is very easy. Software appears comprehensive.

Does a great job and so easy to use. I would highly recommend this bob sweep , I find the app very reliable and easy to set up. Enjoy using app to spot clean and set it to clean specific room, I noticed some reviewer complaining about the map being missing. What I found is there is a small quirk with an easy fix. If quick clean or room clean does give message "can not find map" exit the quick clean then open map (tap on map) and when you go back to room clean it works just fine. This is one additional step but so worth it , touching one more icon makes this little robot picks up pet hair everyday and makes floor look always clean. Keep in mind you do have to empty the collection bin and clean filter daily. Also once per week or more often as needed clean out the brush and brush area along with wiping off the sensors. I also had great experience with the support. Sent them emails and they were super helpful and responded back very quickly. Overall one of the best purchases I have made in many years. Buy this and you will have clean floors all of the time with little effort.

This is our first robot vacuum, so we cannot offer a comparison. We named it R2D2. First, it does not have enough battery power to map our entire house which is 2200 sq. ft. We had to break the mapping into two segments. Also, I gave up on trying to link it to Alexa. Overall, it does a pretty good job once you block out the areas where it gets stuck. Anything over about 1/2" high is a problem. Also, fringe on persian rugs is a big problem. The android app is very basic and could use a lot of improvement. However, we are fairly pleased with the vacuum, and the quality seems very good. It does a good job of collecting pet hair and dust, but the dust receptacle is small and has to be emptied very frequently. Also, the roller needs frequent cleaning but is easy to remove. If you can catch it on sale, it is a good value. Even with several shortcomings, we would buy it again.

Bobsweep does an excellent job than I expected. It literally pickup all the dust in my house every with ease. I don't have to move my furniture around to get into all the space I cannot reach anymore. All I have to did everyday is just press a button and let Bob did his own magic. After a week owned it, my house have about 99 % reduced of dust fying around my house. It solved my problem that I had in my house.

Bob is super easy to use. Once you run bob the first time and maps out your home its easy to sit a schedule for him to run. He does get stuck under the fridge door so i just need to remember to block that area otherwise it does a great job vacuuming the house. I have a dog and it does a great job keeping the house free of hair. Would highly recommend.

LiDar technology is amazing on this. Check the attached map it did from my attachment. Very impressive response. I used to sweep manually and even if I did double sweep same area, I don’t think I can collect as much as this picks up. The controls and app are so easy to use. Please ignore the other pictures showing brush being bent, as you swipe the cleaning tool through it, they get fixed. With the low power mode, it runs smoothly, quietly and picks up a lot.
