We upgraded from an older bObsweep. It served us well, and was time for an upgrade. So glad we did. Bob is so quiet and unobtrusive, that we barely notice he's running. The app is phenomenal, and includes scheduling. One amazing thing we noticed is that Bob KNOWS our home. He created an extremely accurate map that can be viewed on the app. (We can start him from the app even when we're not home!) We also integrated Bob with our Alexa and Google Home skills. So simple to say "Alexa, Start Bobsweep", and Bob comes out quietly from his dock, and doesn't bump walls, because it knows our house. When he runs out of battery, he automatically returns to his dock to charge. Alternatively, we can say "Alexa, Stop Bobsweep", and he goes back to dock. He cleans both floors and rugs, and can wetsweep the floors as well. We were amazed when we emptied the dustbin to see how much he cleaned from our floors. We thought they were spotless, but Bob proved us wrong. We live near the beach, and we used to struggle with tiny grains of sand. Bob fixed that. I recommend this to anyone who owns a floor. What a great gift to someone you care about! We have nothing negative to say. Kudos to the creators!

Just purchased this through Best Buy because it was a Deal of the Day. Just ran it through the whole house for the first time today. Haven’t tried the mopping feature yet. However, I can already tell this is a huge upgrade from my first robot vacuum- a Eufy. I really wanted a self-emptying machine. This vacuum definitely does a better job at mapping the house and is clearly a lot “smarter” than my previous 2 year old model. So far I absolutely love it. Will come back and modify my review if I have any more input.

Great for dog hair! I have a malamute and husky and it’s a life saver. Easy to clean. Great at mopping.

We are so happy with our Bob. It does a stellar job getting around and under all our furniture and getting those hard to reach clumps of pet hair. I love the spot clean feature too because it means I can set Bob to clean up after a particularly messy cooking experience (homemade pizza night) and come back to clean floors! The warranty team also addressed all our questions when we noticed Bobs bumper sticking and got him fixed up free of charge!

Sweet lil vacuum. My Roomba died in transit from one state to another and this magical little dude replaced it. I maybe ran my Roomba a dozen times and it was set away for a few months. End result? Death. This guy hangs out in my living room and makes my life easier. Absolutely LOVE the LiDAR and option to choose where I want it to vacuum/mop. The only downside is if you have a larger home, it won't last the full two hours and does not re-charge and continue vacuuming. But I'm always amazed at how much it does pick up every time I run it, even if it's days apart.

Bobsweep scans and builds a map of the interior rooms, and has a quiet mode that makes the device tolerable during the day for cleaning... Unfortunately stop working after a few months and had to send it in for repairs, kept rebooting... While it worked it was one of the better versions I have tried for cleaning.

I got it on sale and I think that was reasomably priced. It kicks up rugs and gets stuck on them, doesn't tell you if it's full/needs emptying, and is generally not that reliable unless the floor is totally ready for it, but when it works, it works well. Had i paid the alleged full price, I would have definitely taken it back

BOb is picky, it kept refusing to vacum my re colorful carpet even of i turned the lights on as they said it gets cinfused with dark colored carpts. Some times it will do it some times it doesn't. Also it gets stuck in one of the corners or under bed. I have to look for it every time to take it back close to the charger. A month ago (8 months since purchased it us dead. I tried to put it on the charger, cleaned it, checked if the battery in place, nothing helped. My best guess is that the battery needs replacemant already, although i only used it once a week. Cleans all surfaces and doing reasonable job.

Works pretty good and does a great job. Don’t use the mop side so much but overall 8/10

Cool little unit. Does a decent job. Doesn't replace elbow grease but I didn't expect it would. She seems to develop a personality and can be quite entertaining to watch. It's surprising how much it picks up, which you see once you empty it. The mopping function is just a gentle wipe, really. Still better than nothing and I don't lift a finger. I got it super on sale so easily worth it.

Bob does a great job vacuuming on both hard floors and carpeting. The back-and-forth pattern is so much more thorough than robot vacuums of the past that just bumped around randomly, often missing areas. It is great to be able to get your vacuuming done while doing other things! The Bobsweep app allows you to target or avoid certain areas of your map. The bummer about this is it only saves one map at a time, so if you have multiple floors you like to vacuum, it has to create a new map each time. I am hopeful that there will be a software update to allow multiple maps. The mopping feature is just OK. The attachment only takes water (no soap or cleaner), so it's fine for a quick rinse down, but is not a substitute for a full mopping done by hand. Bobsweep's customer service is wonderful. My first Bob fell down the stairs (a couple of times), even though the edge sensors were activated in the app. I reached out to customer service and they promptly sent me a new unit. All in all, this is a great product and I am very happy with my purchase. There are some minor things that could use some improvement, but the basic functionality is great!

Has been using it to clean my cat hair. Just set it up, schedule the times you want your robot to vacuum and forget about it. Only need to clean filter and dispose the container once a week. Saves me time and effort and is super quiet.

Had some issues trying to connect to wifi, but this thing seruously tackles husky fur really well. I cant survive without this thing.

I love Bob! I bought this guy about 6 months ago and haven't thought about doing a review as I normally don't bother but since it's been such a good product, why not. Its a hard-working little machine that gets around the house very cleverly, avoiding all the obstacles etc.

Love this bObsweep robovac, vacuums and navigates pretty good, doesn’t hit everything. Mopping is a great feature as well, happy with my purchase.

So nice having BOB. My first one broke and was refunded. I tried another vacuum and ended up missing BOB. I bought it again and this one is working great! My floors are much cleaner than my regular vacuum for hard floors. I can’t say the vacuuming in carpets is great or the mop. It just doesn’t work great on those things. Saves me time so I’ll accept what I have. I do wish cleaning out the vacuum didn’t involve sticking my fingers into everything

The pluses: - bOb is Short like me - Don't underestimate the value of a short profile! - Quiet - Cleans everywhere it can possibly fit! - Handles floor transitions well. - Far, far better navigation because of the new mapping technology. - You can create "no sweep" zones. No need for clumsy magnetic strips required by Vision. - Privacy: the map is stored only on the vac and on your device where you're viewing the map. Bobsweep (the company) does not store any maps. This is a big deal; in the past, some other vac companies allegedly stored your home maps on their servers, and who knows what they did with them. - Able to clean one specific bedroom that was "off limits" to Vision because Vision would afterward forget where it was. - Knows exactly how to find home without bumping into anything. And so far, it always finds home. - Impressive cleaning under tables, even a long dining table surrounded by 12 chairs! Just leave a small gap for it to get under the table and it will clean everywhere it can possibly fit. - Still navigates under cabinet overhangs (like in the kitchen), even overhangs barely more than 3" high. This is where the short profile is a benefit. - Easy to clean, probably as easy to repair as the Vision. Cons: - None really, the app could use some user friendliness.

Absolutely love everything about the bobsweep. It grabs everything except for crumbs and hair it literally cannot reach. I have mostly hardwood and the frustration of peeling animal hair off of my feet and socks has been nearly eliminated. Loved it when i got it a month ago.. loved it more when i realized its not going anywhere and will take care of my least favorite chore for years
