Not worth it- Bob missed the mark
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like the Bobsweep Slam robot vacuum, but it’s been more frustrating than helpful. It constantly gets stuck in the same spots on every single run- over and over again. Unless your space is wide open with no furniture or obstacles, Bob struggles hard. As for cleaning power? Disappointing. I have a dog and It doesn’t pick up all the pet hair or debris from rugs and carpets, and it leaves a lot behind. I end up having to babysit it or clean up after it-exactly what a robot vacuum is supposed to prevent. Bob bumps into furniture and walls constantly. I expected way more for the price. On top of that, the return window is much shorter than expected, so I’m stuck with it. I also had to reach out to customer service because it just stopped working out of nowhere, they were helpful and sent me another one and even that one is giving me issues. Save your money. Bob doesn’t suck—in more ways than one. Also, a lot of the glowing 5-star reviews seem suspicious- like they were written as part of a promotion. My experience has been nowhere near what those reviews suggest.

App is mediocre and looks horribly dated. We ran into some hardware issue and soon realized manufacturer's support is email or web-form only. Parts are extremely expensive and not sold on marketplace. I tried ordering a brush on the website and they wanted me to pay 20 bucks shipping for a small brush.

Go for one without a camera!

Does not work well on the tile and I assume wood will be the same. After about 45 days, started complaining about main brush is having issue and needs cleaning. Cleaned it well but still did not work.

After checking the reviews, comparing to similar items, and loving price I purchased I call him Bob. When I first opened him I was confused about multiple things and support and google helped. After about 3 weeks he kept stopping and would go home or just quit. After contacting customer support about 3 times and checking trouble shooting they said it was the main brush and I had to take apart check ball bearings and other things that after 3 weeks should not have happened. When he did work he did an amazing job. Very disappointed.
