About a decade ago, I decided that I needed to look into getting a robot vacuum. Having a pet made vacuuming a more than once daily chore and I didn’t have the time. I researched online different companies trying to find reviews to see which one I felt I could trust and which one had the abilities I was wanting. bObsweep was the company that I chose. When I made that first purchase…I wasn’t sure what I could expect…and I’m the type of person that manages my expectations. I set that original bObsweep Pet Hair out to cleaning. Its first pass…right after I had already vacuumed…I was shocked. The dustbin was full of pet hair and dirt. From that moment on, I was hooked. A couple of years later I was able to replace that vacuum with another of the same using a special deal that was going on. A few years later…I was able to upgrade to the bObsweep SLAM. SLAM had a upgrade from a handheld remote to phone APP and it had a much improved consistency with him finding his way home to recharge. The mopping ability was drastically improved. The APP gives you the ability to set up schedules and because it maps your home you can edit the map and divide/combine rooms, name them and schedule him to clean certain rooms. It also allows for you to set up no vacuum areas. It even works with Google/Alexa so you can voice control it. Recently, I decided to leave my dog inside while I ran out for a few hours. It was cold and I hate leaving her outside. When I came home…I knew treachery was afoot. The smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My dog had an accident in the house…and bOb had went out on his scheduled clean. There…was poop…smeared everywhere. It was in all of his crooks and crevices. It took me several hours to take him apart and clean him up. I was worried that it would cause him not to function. I contacted customer support and let them know what happened…and they made it possible for me to use my warranty and a deal that was going on to replace my Slam. This company makes an awesome product. It cleans well. If your furniture height is tall enough…it will go under beds, dressers, couches, tables, chairs, etc. and clean all the places that you don’t get to all the time. I rarely ever have to get down on all fours or move furniture to vacuum. It’s already done. My floors are clean, the dog hair is practically non-existent. Not only is an awesome product…they have awesome customer service. They stand behind their product. These days…that’s uncommon. I can’t say enough positive things about this company and its products. It’s one of the few purchases I’ve ever made where I have not had buyer’s remorse. The one thing I can definitely say…is if you buy one you won’t regret it.

I purchased this vacuum cleaner with high hopes, but it has been a frustrating experience. One of the main features I was excited about was the ability to create no-sweep areas, but the map keeps changing unexpectedly, rendering this function nearly useless. To make matters worse, the vacuum often stops in the middle of cleaning, which is incredibly annoying. I've tried resetting it multiple times, but the issue persists. And when it does manage to clean, it fails to pick up pet hair effectively, even with frequent brush changes. I expected a lot more from this product, especially for the price. Unfortunately, it just doesn't deliver on its promises. Save your money and look for a more reliable option!

Disappointed. Its been less than 45 days and it's not working. The charger port isn't connecting and charging the vacuum.

It was good for a little while. Did a good job of accurately mapping the house. Never picked up anything visible like food crumbs, just dust, dirt, and hair.

I bought two. One will not even turn on right out of the box and the other will not connect to Wifi. Would not purchase again.

This worked for a week then we started to get an error about the dustbin, we have clean it, changed the air filter and still doesn’t work. Returning this for sure!!

This robot vacuum is just as terrible as the others. It misses areas, gets lost, and stuck in the same place EVERY time it runs. Half of the time it doesn’t make it back to the charger.

SLAM is the noise it makes when it constantly falls down the same step in the same spot over and over again. It doesn't "learn" at all. Don't know how it's supposed to map when it can't even finish a mapping run without getting stuck or falling down the same step. It also leaves behind clumps of hair and dirt. Returned it.
