I have two dogs and I finally decided that I needed to add a smart robot vacuum to home. Bob is very easy to put together but setup took me longer than it should have because bob only connects with 2.4ghz wireless signals and you have to pair using an existing device. Well all of my devices are 5ghz so it did take some research to find a workaround but I did. Bob is very good at cleaning up the house but he is little taller than I thought so doesn't fit under everything and has gotten stuck a few times under the couch. When BOB doesn't get stuck he does a great job cleaning and mopping (if you have then accessory bundle) but he isn't very smart when it comes to finding his way back to the base. Almost every time he runs I have to pick him up and bring him back to the charging base which is easy but not something I thought I would have to do. Included in the accessory bundle also was no go strip, a like 4 foot long cord basically that you lay on the floor where you dont want Bob to go. Unfortunately its not long enough and you only get one so if you have multiple areas you dont want him then you will have to have those all around your house. I trip over it all the time and then it does no good at keeping BOB out. Overall BOB does a good job cleaning but I have to do a lot of prep work before each use.

Works great and is fairly quiet. It sets a pattern and it’s nice watching the surface area that’s shown on the app. Once in a while it’ll get stuck under a piece of furniture and after a while you forget about it and then have to go find it.

I love Bob, especially for his ability to pick up my cat's fur.
Pro: great at picking up cat fur, scheduling sessions is easy, quiet and gentle when bumping into furniture, docks reliably
Con: poor at picking up cat litter or other small crumbs, mapping is poor and requires Bob to repeat areas already completed. Instruction book is woefully inadequate, and finding help online is scattered all over the Bob website.
Adequate: Sometimes loses WiFi connection, takes almost 12 hours to recharge fully. Dustbin has lots of nooks and crannies, making emptying harder than it should be
Wishlist: Android app is easy to use, but enhancements like battery status would be nice. App should retain map after completion for later review.

The Bob sweep is so much quieter than iRobot, and it actually does find its way back to you the charging station, unlike the iRobot and is much easier to clean.

Highly Recommend - Works great - we have two dogs with tile and carpet flooring. Bob transitions the floors without issue. This model can not map the floor plan, but we find the sweeping patterns will cover all the floors in all the rooms. Battery last between 2-3 hours. After 2 years of use, we sent it to the manufacturer for a check-up for a sticky wheel. They went through all the parts and updated and replaced brushes, filters and tires. This without a doubt was a fantastic experience - adding to the overall value and life of the unit.

We've had Bob for a couple weeks now and he's definitely helping us in the ways we had hoped. Really easy to setup, especially in comparison to the original bobSweep PetHair. Initially, he had some issues with doing a full cycle as he'd stop with a main brush error. Not sure if an update came out or if he just got used to being a vacuum, but now he's running a full cycle and vacuuming our entire main floor. My only wishes are that he'd save his cleaning area so he can learn the best route and that he didn't struggle so much with getting back to his dock. Otherwise, such a worthwhile investment if you can get him at a good price.

I had this vacuum for almost 2 weeks and I had to return it yesterday. It cleaned well when it worked, but it always managed to get stuck, get lost going back home and it seemed to lose Wi-fi connectivity a few times a week. I'd get home and there it was in the middle of the living room stuck, with the brush spinning. I have no rug, no stairs or hard obstacles for it to get stuck. My house has either laminate flooring or vinyl planks so it's pretty east to get around. I had a DeeBot for a little over a year and that was AMAZING. I just got tired of having to constantly troubleshoot the thing so I decided to return it. Like I said, when it works as it should it cleans well. It doesn't come with a control and the App is pretty much useless.

I wanted to put this thru its paces before I said anything. I have 2 big fuzzy dogs, and I hate to vacuum.
On the good side, it does the vacuuming and picks up a lot of dust and dog hair.
It also makes me more aware of what is left on the floor.
It has found every wire or cable on the floor, and every dog toy, and tried to sweep them up. It also does try to fit into spaces that are too low, and gets jammed. One of my area rugs has fringe it tends to get caught on, the other is no problem. It gets into all my rooms except for one bathroom that has a higher threshold on the doorway, it sometimes hangs up on it.
Overall the benefits out way the issues, because I do not have to do the work, but I do have to rescue him more often than I expected.
I bought this on sale, if I had paid list price I would be unhappy.

Bob and I have not gotten along since I connected him to WiFi and his first sweep. Even though I got him for a third of the actual price at bestbuy I still don't think the value is even close.
We have a 2500sqft first floor which is mostly hard wood with some scattered rugs here and there. We bought this because we thought it would be a good way to keep up on the dog fur from our two chows. It probably would have worked if bOb were just a tad smarter and could stop getting stuck and ripping the ears off of the dog toys or getting stuck under the furniture. I actually felt bad for the little guy at points. I am working from home but can hear him banging around under the chairs unable to figure out how to get out. Or I would hear him jam under something and start straining his motors and then beep loudly to let me know he is having issues. Actually couldn't find him once but knew he was in trouble somewhere.
Also, he has a lot of trouble finding home. I have yet to see him actually make so end up carrying him over every time before the battery dies completely and he is stuck in some dark corner of the house. He was in the hallway behind my office door and the battery became low so he wanted to go to the charger. I heard him banging around a bit in the hall and then finally made it into my room for a little more banging around under chairs but eventually made it out the other side. This was a good thing until he went the complete opposite way from the charge point. Next thing I hear is bobby banging around under the kitchen island chairs again. At this point I couldn't take it anymore. Started calling him Bobby in an English accent (because it just sounds funny). Yelling at him "Oh Bobby....just go home" . Bobby appeared to be lost so I again helped him back and put him on the charger. At which point he backed out and started going toward the chairs again. There is definitely something wrong with BoBby.
So we had a falling out and he is back in the box and going back to Bestbuy.
I'm convinced that bobby is the reason robots have not taken over the planet!

Piece of junk. I tried it out for a few weeks trying to figure out how to make it work without getting stuck and charging. Decided it was junk and planned to return it ..... Nope, it has been 16 days from purchase and best buy wouldn't return it.
It is never connected to the app which means you can't program or have it clean when you aren't home
It turns off randomly around the house
It doesn't return to it's base when the battery is low
It doesn't map your house.
Not worth the price

This is my first robot vacuum. I always wanted one but we have carpet in the bedrooms and I’d heard these have a reputation not to work on carpet. Recently my husband came across a FB ad from this company advertising a great deal for Mother’s Day and we thought to give it a shot. To my surprise this works perfectly on both our hardwood and our carpet! it even sucks more hair out of carpet than our upright does. It’s also not nearly as loud. The only problem is that long hair gets wrapped around the roller brush and we have to clean it often :/

This is my second BObsweep and I love it! The only reason I got a new one is because the first Bob didn’t connect to WiFi .
I have a cat and two dogs and it does a great job. My home is 4500 ft.² with hard wood floors and some tile with rugs. It goes over the thick and thin rugs with no issues and does a great job cleaning. I am always amazed at what it picks up and I run it every day.
It charges at night and is able to go thru my entire home without needing to be charged before it gets done.
It always finds the base when it does need charging. I’m not sure why other people have issues with that, because no matter where it is in the house it will always go the base.
It is not perfect, I still have to use the regular vacuum to get in small places it can’t fit and I use a Swiffer under places it can’t get under and around some base boards.
You do have to be sure and pick up large objects. If you have a lot of clutter on the floor, it’s not going to work as well.
It does get stuck every now and then and needs help getting out.
Overall, I am very pleased with the job it does.

Definitely picks up pet hair! I've found that it goes over the same area multiple times and sometimes misses others. Sometimes I will pause it, pick it up, and move it to another part of the house. Fits under my sofa and chair too - the first time that's been cleaned in who knows how long! I got it on sale, so for me, it was a great value

Quality of performance has clearly diminished in a short amount of time. I bought this 4 months ago and while things started out great I become less impressed by the day.
Initially, it brought me unreasonable joy to watch the vacuum - we named him Carl - zip under my couch and back out. "Oh, did Carl just boop a wall and turn around? Precious. Did Carl vacuum up all he could and stop in the middle of the floor because his canister is full? Well, done, Carl." It was easy to get excited about the cool robot vacuum. I was so enchanted I didn't even care that it never connected to wifi and has never been able to map my house. When Carl runs, despite having no logical map or pattern, he does collect a good amount of pet hair and other small refuse. However, he's is really finicky about charging only when aligned very specifically on the charging prongs; as of late the vacuum never seems to have enough battery to even run through a room in my small home. Nowadays this is a waste of space on my floor, as he never charges adequately enough to actually function. Glad I picked this up as a deal of the day. Definitely not worth full price and arguably not worth the sale price either.

Works very good for all my vacuuming needs. Before we bought this vacuum, we would vacuum every two weeks or so, just laziness, now we vacuum every other day always picking up a good amount of pet hair,( 3 dogs and 2 cats worth) and dirt, our carpet is noticeably cleaner. It vacuums in a straight line pattern for effective cleaning. It does get stuck under the couch, but only when someone is on the couch. It does run into most of our furniture, but it maneuvers around it. I paid 200 on a deal of the day, definitely worth it, no way I could afford 900 for a robot vacuum anyway.

The app could use some updating like push notifications. However, the robot itself works very well. Once in awhile it will get lost in a large space but otherwise I highly recommend
I was excited of the purchase but was disappointed

Bad mapping of the house. It never finishes. Also it slams into the furniture or any obstacles. Poor job at avoid object. You can't leave it unattended. But it actually clean good. It just never finish mapping the house so I can't add boundaries. Supposedly goes for $899 but was on sale for $199. Yet not worth the $899 and maybe the $199 but I can find better for $199 that don't get stuck.
