needed a simple device for basic use. it is used as an emergency tool only, so needed an inexpensive plan.

Definitely a good buy! I've owned it for about a year, and haven't had any issues, what-so-ever, thus far.

First of all, if you are expecting a top of the line phone, you are expecting too much for the price. That said, this phone does an EXCELLENT job for the money. Gave this to our 10 year old girl and it is GREAT for her. It exceeded my expectations significantly considering the price. Biggest CON is no flash.

I use for long time everyday and dont need to charge my phone.

Got this phone to activate on Ring+ and/or use internationally. Fully rootable, can flash custom roms and updated to 5.0 Lollipop w/ strong possibility to upgrade to upcoming M were the main factors behind my choice to get this over the Volt

I purchased this phone when it was on sale for less than $40. It is a very good smartphone in this price range and always receive the latest Android software update as soon as it becomes available. The only weakness is the battery capacity as many others have pointed out. You will need to carry a power pack with you as a heavy user. Given the price of the phone, I can certainly live with this short coming.

I bought this phone for ring plus. Having been using moto g 2013 for the past 2 years. This phone is faster than my moto g and also has LTE. Drawbacks are no flash light, but I am not concerned with flash light, average quality camera and low res screen. It has excellent battery life though, and serves my basic needs for a phone. Also it works excellent with ringplus.

Bought this for the wife and so far it works just fine. Nearly a year into using it and only one crack on the screen from a drop. The internal memory is a bit small, but the external memory card fixed that. For the price I paid, I am very happy.

This is a durable replacement for my teenagers. Inexpensive and easy to manage their usage.

Purchased this for a special event. Used a square card reader with it and it worked great. was able to leave the phone for others to use during the event and it was terrific, more than paid for it's self

While this phone is not as good as your flagship phones; for the price it is packed with features. Some people complain it does not have a flash, but most cellphones are horrible at taking pictures in dark situations anyway. If you are missing the flashlight feature, just use the Google homepage and turn up your brightness! The non-removable battery is not a huge issue if you take care of your phone and only charge when under 80% and do not go below 20%. If you have any issues with people hearing you, just put a small piece of tape on one of the microphones. The ability to use this phone on several carriers besides Boost is a huge plus!

I'm shocked how good this little phone is for the price. I had the first Moto X, and this phone isn't that far off. I miss the camera flash, but other than that, it's completely capable.
