This game is not a beacon of originality. The only real new feature I've noticed is the vaulting. This can make platforming a little more interesting, but in terms of gameplay it feels just like the older games. That doesn't mean it's a bad thing though. It's been a long time since we've had a classic Borderlands game. Sometimes it's just fun to kill enemies and hope for shiny loot.

If you played previous Borderlands titles, this is more of the same fun.

Tons of weapon options, some slow down on a standard ps4 when bringing up menu but fun to play campaign. Easy to pick up and play. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter for shift codes. Lots of old characters come back and of course new ones. It feels like a Borderlands game with the action and humor. More stuff, bigger levels, new characters, nothing mind blowing but fun and nostalgic.

Great game but glitches appear now and then on certain scenes.

So if you have played previous borderlands games there is not a lot that is new here. Yes you get to travel off pandora but the maps are just variations of the same old stuff. It is all about shooting and loot. Level progression is good and you really feel like you get sizable perks for the effort but it turns grindy fast. More fun with a friend to be sure.

Been playing non stop since the arrival .... fun way to shelter in place

Bought this for my boyfriend a while back and he really liked it. I played split screen with him for a while and wasn't disappointed either. I played the previous games in the series and did enjoy them a little bit more but I got this on sale for like $20 so no complaints here.

Good game recommed it to any one who likes to blow up things

I mean who plays BL for the story. It's a fun game but better in multiplayer.

If you're looking for a fun shooter with a lot of weapon variety and interesting fresh mechanics, this is your shot. The previous games were excellent as well, but this is the most refined borderlands experience. Showed this to a friend and he immediately requested a copy.

Not a bad buy when it is on sale shortly after release

While the recasting of rolls is common in soap operas, I don't like it in my video games. Clap trap is such an emblematic character to the franchise. They should have just paid the original guy a fair union wage to reprise his role since he doesn't work as an employee of the developer anymore.
