An Entertaining Title/Sequel

I easily put nearly 100 hours into Borderlands 1 and 2, maybe a bit more. It is still enjoyable and looks great, but there is something about the original one(s) that have a particular charm in their visuals, audio and gameplay.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really only wanted to get the game because it's Ratchet and Clank at home, or wish.com Ratchet and Clank, with some slick Kung Fu back flipping and typical open world stuff. That's what I got. It's definitely rough around the edges and doesn't look the best. It was also concerning that the day 1 patch was already at version 2.01. But it's a small development team and they did some good stuff and will update over time. Not worth the full price but worth $30-40 easily.

Best Borderlands yet, nothing more, nothing less

It's bigger, better looking, and has far more variety in skill choices for each class - lending it more replayability. The developers have also made frequent updates since launch and seem committed to improving skills and weapons that are underused so that you can really play effectively however you want - shotguns, melee, sniper rifles, whatever.
