I bought this game for my Grand daughter and her Dad. But I'm sure they started playing it the day I gave it to them. But it was a Christmas gift. :-) But they are making great memories hanging out together and playing this game.

This is a great game, but it's too long! If you've played and liked a Borderlands before, this is more of the same, but BETTER. I've played all of the Borderlands and enjoy them all, but the trend of them being overly long and an artificially bloated world still holds true.

It's Borderlands on a console so its classically buggy (a feature according to Gearbox) and FPS on a controller. Waiting on the vertical split screen for couch coop has been way too long, but great core game

Dear best buy, I have really enjoyed buying all my games through your stores for the last 2 years. Unfortunately, my gamers club membership expires in January of 2020 and I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

This game is essentially just more Borderlands, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing! Antagonists are dreadfully cringeworthy and some of the new classes are lackluster but all in all, a good experience

Never played one before but the price was amazing and so far so good. If you own a PS5 you also get the next gen upgrade for free. Fun first person shooter with a large open world to explore in a Apocalyptic setting. Good times.

My wife and I love the Borderland games for couch co-op on our PS4. There are so few games that still offer couch co-op but Borderlands does and previously their games have been a ton of fun to play together. This game was a huge disappointment from the first moment we started playing. The game only offers horizontal split-screen (two screens on top of each other), and does not have the option to change to vertical split-screen (two screens next to each other). If you think about the dimensions of modern televisions, horizontal split-screen results in a view that is incredibly wide but not very high. Vertical split-screen makes much more sense because the wide screen gets split into two and each player has close to a square to play with. So, you're stuck playing in horizontal split-screen. What are the effects of this? The following: Screen text is almost impossible to read unless you sit really close. Forget about being able to read quest objectives, menu text, item information, etc., from the comfort of your couch. TV size does not fix this. Furthermore, if you're the top player then you can look forward to just not being able to view item info, period. The on-screen item display box that you see when you place the cursor on an item is too large to fit on the screen, so most of the important information is off-screen and not visible. You can try to maneuver around to make it visible but it's a huge hassle. If you're the bottom player you don't have to worry about this because guess what; you're item information goes right INTO THE TOP PLAYER'S SCREEN. So as the top player, now you have that to deal with too. I could go on and on for a while about why this game sucks for couch co-op but if you want more details, just spend a couple of minutes on Google. The point is, they really managed to mess this game up for local multi-player. As far as I know, there are no plans to introduce vertical split-screen through a patch. If that changes, I may change this review. If you're thinking of buying this game to play couch co-op because the previous ones were fun, just don't. You will be disappointed.

If you have played any of the previous games then you know what your getting here. It's a good game but there are no real big changes to the formula. I would only recommend this game for a serious discount.

Excellent game the downfall of this game is when one person is looking in their backpack and the other person is trying to shoot or fight the person in the backpack delays the persons shooting ability. Me and my husband play this game together it isn’t competitive it’s cooperative

This is action packed game so far one of the best in my resume. Guns are big and enless bullets just like nario almada . If you are mexican youll know what im talking about lol

got this as a deal of the day and wow was it worth it. The couch co op and online co op action is as good as ever here. The classes have some cool special attacks and the enemies are goofy, raunchy and wild too.

I love this game soo much. I actually played this game before buying it and, even though my friends said I could borrow theirs, I wanted my own copy. That is how good it is. The wait was totally worth it!

Love how you can loot and shoot and rebuild your weapon strength on the fly, whether you want to be a up close shot gunner or distance pistol/assault rifle gamer. The split screen is the one aspect I’m not fond of.

I've been a Borderlands junky since my bf introduced it to me back in like 2011. And I'm happy it didnt lose the borderlands vibe. I'm having a lot of fun playing and it's cool that they still have the split screen!

If you love the other games in the series you're going to love this new version. So much polish on all the Mechanics and movement. Even more fun gun options. Love the addition of two firing modes for certain guns.

I bought this for my kid and he loves it. He has been playing this game since the first one came out. He loves the action, weapon selection and links up with people he has been playing with since the first one.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and I know he is going to LOVE it. He was so excited when they came out with this one and I can't wait to see his face of Christmas morning when he opens his gift.

One of the funnest titles to play, especially co op split screen! Not many games have this feature nowadays and this is a refreshing take for sure! Ill definitely be playing this on my PS5

An already great game made much better with enhancements for the ps5 and xbox series x. Basically it's the last gen game but in 4k at 60 fps, translated it looks and plays much better.

If you have played Borderands & Borderlands 2 this is a must have for your collection. The story is funny (borderlands humor), engaging, and entertaining. It will be endless hours....days of fun!!
