Pros: - Water softener works very well. - Stainless interior - 3rd utensil rack helpful. - Fantastic cleaning; strong spray arms. Hot temperatures - Quiet compared to my previous dishwasher Cons: - Poor utilization of space - Bottom Utensil tray takes up too much space. - No sound notification when dishwasher left open. - Buttons feel really cheap. For some weird reason the two buttons you use most, on/off and start are unlighted. Just strange. Why do you even need an on/off button? It's an implied on when you select a load. - Tab catcher/dispenser takes away space from middle rack. - Drying is sub-par - There are no indicators like "rinse" or "drying" phases. The onscreen indicators are strange with legends completely missing in the manual. - Rack pegs and angles seem slightly strange from what I'm used to - Front panel a little flimsy and scratches easily. - Can't select sanitize on speed 60. - Control Panel glitches out sometimes. I knew going into this that this was a bit of a strange Bosch model and entry level no less. But still, this is generally a premium dishwasher at a higher price point than competitors. Overall I'm satisfied with the upgrade but honestly impressed at my cheap (half the price) Whirlpool's common sense implementations that I thought were pretty basic and standard by this point. The utensil bin takes away from space and is a bit strange considering there's also a tray. I really like my old Whirlpool's design of putting the tray mounted on the door as there is a lot of unused space there. I'd go with a 500 model with a larger more useful 3rd rack if they had a water softener, which was the primary reason I purchased this one. Having really hard water meant dishwasher was breaking down and not cleaning effectively. Overall I'm content but somewhat disappointed. I'd advise people to get only if the above issues aren't a deal breaker.

I have had it now for about a month. Super quiet, compared to my old Samsung. Didn't know it had a mini water softener until after I bought it. This is a great feature! Spotless dishes! So far works fantastic.

It works! It turns on and cleans my dishes! Unlike the nightmare Whirlpool machine that stopped working the first month. Then broke down every three months. The only repairman around and approved by Whirlpool’s “warranty” took months to fix it because he said he was waiting for the part to be shipped (same part, over and over again). Whirlpool refused to honor their warranty and after the fourth time, I just junked it and bought the Bosch. It’s quiet, and cleans my dishes immaculately. I love it!

I bought this dishwasher to replace a dishwasher I had for only 3 months! The comparison is no contest. My dishes are super clean and dry. There is no foul odor, and it’s super quiet. I had some issue with the removable rack but quickly figured it out! So glad I made a choice to change out the dishwasher.

The Bosch Model 300 dishwasher operates so quietly that it's unnoticeable. Rack design is outstanding for heavy or light loads. Dishes, flatware, cookware, glassware are cleaned spotlessly when instructions are followed.

This dishwasher cleans and dries all dishes extremely well and has a 3rd rack for utensils. Much nicer than the frigidaire gallery I previously owned.

Quiet and easy yo operate, it needs jet dry to properly dry your dishes. Happy with our purchase

It is an excellent dishwasher, just as I expected from Bosch. I really like the utensil trsy at the very top. Overall a huge improvement from our old Kitchen Aide. A worthwhile investment. You will mot be disappointed. Be sure to measure your cabinet space carefully.

This replaced a 20-year-old (!) Bosch that was still working, but was just time for an update. It cleans amazingly well, dries well, but isn’t particularly quiet. My old unit was rated at 50 decibels, this one at 46 but it seems no quieter. The 60 minute cycle is very effective but I can hear water sloshing around the most on this cycle.

Very quiet. Works great. My only criticism would be that the instruction manual isn’t the greatest. There are a couple of symbols that popped up on the dishwasher & I wasn’t able to fond their meaning easily. Otherwise, a great appliance.

So far so good! Easy installation! And a secret drawer at the top! My only issue is it doesn't dry well.

Other than the fact that I have to dry half the dishes no matter what settings I use, it is a decent dishwasher. I now am having to make sure to dry almost all the dishes as I put them away. This was not the case with my old dishwasher, so this is an unwelcome addition to my routine. I have checked the settings - the D1 option to make sure you have dry cycle selected, the rinse aid to improve spottiness, and the heated dry AND sanitize options set with every cycle. Still I have to dry the dishes by hand. I called customer support and they said they didn't want me to have to dry the dishes by hand and I agreed with them but there doesn't seem to be any other option. Support mentioned that if I had bought the 500 series it would come with a feature that causes it to pop itself open when the cycle is complete, which they claim will help with the drying. His suggestion was maybe I can pop the dishwasher open at the end of the cycle. As I run it before bed, this is not going to happen. Other than the wet dishes at the end of the cycle, it works okay. But I was hoping for more than OK for this price and this brand.

Fantastic, but the user manual could use some work. The water connection is a straight version of British pipe threads, which is rarely (if ever) used in the US - the manual doesn't list the inlet connection type, even though that information is absolutely necessary to connect the unit without leakage. It's a pretty glaring oversight.

Best dishwasher we have ever owned. Cleaning is amazing

Replaced an old Bosch that we loved, but no longer worked. The new machine express cycle is twice as long as the old one. The drying on the regular cycle is not as good. We were told the drying cycles have changed to reduce the cost of operation.
