A: Hi Zattack, thanks for your question and interest in Bosch! Models SHE53B75UC and SHEM63W55N are both 300 Series dishwashers that feature PrecisionWash®, where intelligent sensors and precision spray arms target every item in every load. Model SHE53B75UC is 46 dBA and has a capacity of 15 place settings versus 44 dBA and 16 place settings with model SHEM63W55N. Model SHE53B75UC also includes a water softener and Home Connect™ (WiFi enabled), which model SHEM63W55N does not have. SHE53B75UC has 6 wash cycles and 6 options compared to 5 wash cycles and 4 options with model SHEM63W55N. Both models dry using PureDry® condensation drying. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. One of the biggest differences between the 300 and 500 Series models is drying capability. Our 500 Series dishwashers include AutoAir® in addition to using PureDry®. The AutoAir® feature automatically releases the door at the end of the drying cycle to let in fresh air and let out moisture for better final drying.
