  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

A: This dishwasher operates at a quiet 46 dBA.

Q: Im trying to decide the major differences between few 300 models or choose the 500. its only $100 more whats the difference between SHE53B75UC and SHEM63W55N

A: Hi Zattack, thanks for your question and interest in Bosch! Models SHE53B75UC and SHEM63W55N are both 300 Series dishwashers that feature PrecisionWash®, where intelligent sensors and precision spray arms target every item in every load. Model SHE53B75UC is 46 dBA and has a capacity of 15 place settings versus 44 dBA and 16 place settings with model SHEM63W55N. Model SHE53B75UC also includes a water softener and Home Connect™ (WiFi enabled), which model SHEM63W55N does not have. SHE53B75UC has 6 wash cycles and 6 options compared to 5 wash cycles and 4 options with model SHEM63W55N. Both models dry using PureDry® condensation drying. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. One of the biggest differences between the 300 and 500 Series models is drying capability. Our 500 Series dishwashers include AutoAir® in addition to using PureDry®. The AutoAir® feature automatically releases the door at the end of the drying cycle to let in fresh air and let out moisture for better final drying. If you have additional questions, please connect with our Customer Care team at 800-944-2904 for real-time assistance. Thank you for considering Bosch!

Q: Do power push buttons light up.

A: Hi, thanks for your question. The buttons on model SHE53B75UC do light up.

Q: It mentions water softener but in the specs it says no. Does this include built in water softener?

A: Yes this one does have a water softener. We purchased this specific model because of the Softener. It was confusing the way it is in the item title but not listed as a feature.
