Good looking piece of garbage - does not wash well, does not dry well. Look at these photos - all wet after "dry" cycle finsh.

Quite a disappointment. My 26 year old dishwasher was far superior and I wish we would have kept it.

We bought two and neither worked- both returned !!!!

The dishwasher water heater broke in February, about 18 months after installation. Apparently they don't make the part anymore, and they don't make the dishwasher anymore either. Don't get me started on the horrible customer experience that i have had with best buy, their various departments and service partners. Bosch was no help in the process either. If i didn't have other bosch appliances that i wanted it to match i would buy something else. Unfortunately the replacement model is sold out, so i have been without a dishwasher for 6 months now.

Front is not shiny as expected. After wash, washer smells. Awful odor. Don’t like the location of the silverware receptical. In front would be more practical.

First, the recessed handle cracked within 6 months. We’ve had Repeated problems with a “water tap” error. Bosch won’t do anything because NOW they say the repairs must be done by a “certified” repair company. I mistakenly presumed a large nationwide repair company had certified techs. Nope. Bosch lists ONE, out of Chicago which is 3 hours away! I’ve put $500 into repairs on this thing and it’s 3 years and one week old! It’s beautiful and quiet and does a great job... when it works.

After searching for the best dishwasher and looking at reviews we purchased this Bosch dishwasher and absolutely do not like it. The bottom rack doesn’t hold many dishes, but the worst is that it doesn’t dry the dishes. Might as well hand wash.

Looks nice and is super quiet BUT it doesn't even come close to remotely drying the dishes AT ALL. We have to prop the door open when it's done washing so the dishes can air dry.

Washer had water leak. Had a terrible experience with the 800 number. Recomend to deal with store only. Do not use the 800 number. They did not resolve the issue. Had to make two trips to store( total mileage 105 miles) to resolve issues. Again, very poor customer service with the 800 number agents. Store very willing to help.

Was apprehensive about Bosch because some reviews said the insulation caused a terrible smell for the first week. My wife had her heart set on Bosch due to the stainless steel, roominess, top drawer, and overall quiet (decibel) rating. The unit is pricey but Best Buy had it competitively priced with installation and haul-away. We got the unit quickly after Thanksgiving. Zero smell issues and super quiet. Lots of room for various configurations. My three gripes are the narrow slots for silverware, long cycle times, and some cups, etc. pooling water and not drying thoroughly. These new units do not have a heating element, rather rely on ultra-hot water to dry. It’s recommended to leave the door slightly open once the cycle is complete to allow things to air-dry more thoroughly (let the condensation escape). Good luck with your new dishwasher purchase.

I picked up my Bosch 800 dishwasher yesterday. It is now installed and the gasket that goes between dishwasher and cabinet is missing. They had to install the machine forward of cabinet so the inside of the bare wall didn't show, However, I still have a hole between cabinet and dishwasher. Installer stated that he had installed the same model dishwasher, also black, a few days before and there was a black gasket in the box to go between dishwasher and cabinet. He added that it looked real nice.

This machine does not clean dishes very well at all. Food particles are often still left on dishes. I called Bosch about our issues and they told me that I need to run my hot water at the sink before I run the dish washer to ensure it immediately received hot water. Otherwise, it apparently cannot clean dishes well. I have tried this, but it does not seem to help. I am very disappointed because I heard so many good things about Bosch.

This dishwasher has given us nothing but heartache. The drain pump never worked, the multiple repairs did nothing, and now we are stuck hand washing dishes over the holidays. Bosch or Best Buy, it'd be great if you could help us with this problem, its a lemon...

Inside has a pungent smell if not used immediately. Buttons are not easy to reset.

Thought at 40 dB unit would be quieter, but it was too loud for our open floor plan. My phone APP read 55 dB. We retuned it.

This Bosch dishwasher is incredibly quiet and cleans better than any other brand I have ever owned. The top utility tray is a game changer. Don't hesitate on this.

Bosch just came out with this dishwasher and I bought it sight unseen! I read reviews on others and because of Bosch's reputation we decided on this one. I'm so glad we did - the easy glide rack is so smooth and the adjustable rack is wonderful. Also love the third rack for all my long knives, spoons and other flat items. It is SO quiet we had to put our ear up to it to hear anything!! We left food that was baked on the casserole dish to test it - because it says not to rinse or scrub anything, and it came out sparkling clean!! We couldn't believe it. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher and would rate it higher if I could!

My dishwasher didn't work when delivered. Now I am out a dishwasher and have to wait for it to be replaced. Poor quality control. I am a bit apprehensive that I bought a Bosch. Hopefully the replacement will not have any issues.

My wife and I (mostly I) did extensive research before buying. Everything seemed to point toward Bosch. My wife was worried about drying as there were some complaints about that. We found that as long as you follow the instructions there is no problem whatsoever. I think the people who complain are the people who don't read owner's manuals or follow the advice of salespeople. It's super quiet as advertised and my wife says it does a better job of cleaning than any other dishwasher we've ever had. After looking at virtually every dishwasher at Best Buy (particularly Bosch and LG), my wife said "I want that one." We also wanted black stainless steel to closely match other appliances we had (it's not an exact match with different brands but it's close enough) and it turned out that this is, at present, the only black stainless steel model made by Bosch (there are supposed to be more in the future). Also, this was the only such unit at any Best Buy in the entire Midwest and Best Buy got it for us. Days after we bought it Best Buy advertised free installation on all Bosch 300, 500 and 800 series dishwashers. We got a price adjustment and were refunded the $159.99 installation fee, with no problem whatsoever. Thanks Best Buy!

Lasted maybe 3 months and now does not turn on. Have only had Bosch in the past. Extremely disappointed in the way Best Buy handled it and the quality of such a high end model.
