Good, quiet (39DB) machine, if the door works.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had Two (2) of these quiet $1,079 (39DB) machines (two different models) and both had the same problem with a broken door. Door does not work properly on these machines!!!

Super quiet and cleans amazing

This time I wanted to buy the best regardless of price. The first time I used my Bosch I put the dishes in dirty and it cleaned them amazingly. I thought I was gonna have to get new dishes and silverware after my last two dishwashers, but the Bosch has made them look new again. Its incredibly quiet, and very high quality. Its not the cheapest dishwasher out there, but you get what you pay for with the Bosch 800. I will never own any dishwasher other than a Bosch again.

This dishwasher does not work in cold weather!

However once winter came and the outdoor temperatures dropped, this dishwasher stopped running dependably. When it is cold outside, the dishwasher beeps, turns itself off, and displays an error message that says "Water Tap". I called Bosch and they had me call a local company to service the dishwasher. On the first visit, in January, 2018 the technician could not duplicate the problem. We cleaned the filters, checked the lines, etc as we were instructed. We did not find any problems with the above items. In February we called the technician again because the dishwasher would still only run intermittently. The dishwasher would only work if outdoor temperatures were above 20 degrees. This technician said the dishwasher hoses "were cold." The sink and dishwasher are on an exterior wall, but we never had an issue with our previous dishwasher! My husband put some insulation panels under the sink by the wall so that the hoses would not touch the wall. We also left the sink cabinet doors open to circulate air and keep the hoses warm. Ridiculous! We don't live in Antarctica and our home is warm! The dishwasher worked fine all summer, but we have had the same issue occuring this past few months. I have not been able to run our dishwasher for the past three days because of the "Water tap" issue. It is only 17 degrees outside! Do not buy this dishwasher if you live in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan, etc, etc! It only likes warm weather!!
