The third rack and ample capacity are also frequently praised, along with the ease of use and sleek design. Did a lot of searching and review reading before settling on the Bosch dishwasher. Very happy with it, it cleans really well..Havent had any food bits left on cutlery or china. Its amazingly quiet, cant hear it when its working, the red light is the only indicator that its going. Love the third rack for cutlery and small items. Very happy with it.

The adjustable racks and adjustable drawer make this dishwasher adaptable to many conformations. It is quiet, so quiet you forget it's on until you hear the gurgle of the drain. And I haven't had hard water spots, even though I have very hard water. I had BB install and remove my old dishwasher - they were efficient and professional.

Bosch is the most quiet dishwasher I have ever owned. It also makes the dishes cleaner than other dishwashers I have had in the past. I find that even plastic items become cleaner. There is no oily residue on plastics that I have encountered with other dishwashers. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this dishwasher from Best Buy. It had free installation special which was great. The insulation was quick and easy. Saved me a fair amount of time if I had installed myself especially with the electrical. The dishwasher is very quiet and controls are easy to use. I haven’t had it long enough to review how well it actually cleans yet though, but so far so good.

I decided to go with the Bosch since everyone has recommended and I made the right decision with this purchase. I like the adjustable racks and third rack. Extremely quiet- so quiet you won't even know it is on (good thing for the red beam that shines on the ground when in use). Cleans the dishes perfectly every time. Very happy with this purchase.

I love this dishwasher so much more than I thought I could love a dishwasher! It’s super quiet. It’s so nice to be able to run it and not have it interfere with the sound of the TV! I also love that top third shelf. It is so handy! It keeps all the larger cooking utensils out of the way. Great fist!

The noise level of this dishwasher is superior to the previous Bosch that I had for 21 years. Only hope this one lasts as long. Love the third rack for longer utensils. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that it doesn't seem to dry as well as I think it should...even with the extra dry cycle on there seems to be quite a bit of moisture.

I recently purchased a house and it came with an old GE dishwasher that was from around 2007. I wanted to replace it but didn't right away. I wasn't too familiar with dishwashers. So I took my time researching and reading reviews. The brands that get mentioned most of the time were Bosch, KitchenAid, and Miele. I even subscribed to CR. CR recommends mostly Bosch and KitchenAid. After completing my research I decided on the Bosch 800 Series. I had to have the black stainless steel to match my Samsung black stainless steel fridge. So I ended up waiting a month for this Bosch 800 Series black stainless steel to be delivered and installed. I since exchanged it for the KitchenAid KDTM404EBS. The current GE dishwasher was working great. It washed and dried admirably. The only issue was the loudness. But I guess it was considered average for 2007. Most of the reviews I read regarding the Bosch was that it was quiet. So quiet that it has an red InfoLight to let you know it's still washing. Reading the specs of the Bosch got me excited. I'm a geek! I love everything technology. But I was disappointed. The InfoLight only stayed red. Why couldn't Bosch had given it multiple colors? One color for when it's washing and another for when it's drying? The KitchenAid has a small LED on the front that has 3 different colors. Washing, drying, and done. There's also the cycle status screen which is not what it should be. You would think "cycle status" means that it will show you how much time left, what cycle it's on, etc. But it does not show you anything when it's operating. It does show you how much time for the cycle when you first select the cycle and options. It's also used for settings. At least give the user an option to set it so it shows the remaining time left when it's washing. The KitchenAid top control does show the remaining time and other various info when it's washing. The reviews also praised the cleaning ability. The drying feature was somewhat of a mixed review. It was either it dried great or it dried okay. I thought all dishwashers dried completely because what's the purpose of buying and using a dishwasher if it doesn't dry. Condensation drying vs. heating element. I'm sure they all dried the same. I was naive. The first time I washed a load of dishes I was surprised to see water everywhere when I opened the door. The water on the stainless steel tub was normal because it's how condensation drying works. But I mean water on the bottom of the 3rd and top rack. This is with sanitized and extra dry options selected and my hot water is set at 120F or higher. Any slight movement, like sliding the bottom rack out caused the water from the bottom of the 3rd and top rack to drip everywhere. Most of the dishes were dried but with water dripping everywhere it's once again wet. I tried leaving the door open for a while after each load and it helped considerably but I can't always do this. I have a 2 year old. Anyone with kids will understand. Even when I left the door open, there are some that were still wet. I began reading more into condensation drying. Every manufacturer implements certain features to help it dry better. Samsung for example auto opens the door slightly after each cycle to help with drying. Miele also opens the door but has a built-in fan to further assist with drying. Bosch could certainly implement such features to help with drying. I'm not sure why they don't. Is it more efficient when you have to select sanitize and extra dry every time? The KitchenAid has a heating element and a fan to help with drying. After a week of owning the Bosch, I kept telling myself that it's a great dishwasher and so what if it doesn't completely dry everything, it's got great reviews. But in the end I just could not thinking of other brands that might dry completely, if not better. The Bosch is quiet and cleans great. Everything else like the drying, the InfoLight, and the cycle status are a big letdown. But most of the dishwashers in the same price range as the Bosch 800 series are pretty quiet nowadays and most dishwashers regardless of price do clean the same. So paying more for a dishwasher only gets you lower decibels, more features, and the wow factor when you have guests. I really wanted to like the Bosch 800 series.

We read a lot on this dishwasher so we decided to give it a try. It was easy to install and looks beautiful in our kitchen. There is a light to let us know it is running because it is super quiet. We are also pleased with how clean it gets our dishes. We love it and are thankful we chose it.

Bought this to replace a dishwasher that died after 18 years. This one is very quiet and sues a great job of cleaning. Drying is just OK but that is something I knew when purchasing as it does not use a drying element. The heating element is what went bad on my old dishwasher so I wanted one without as it’s one less thing to break.

I will say that this thing is so quiet that you can not hear it running. Have opened the door a few times while it has been running, it’s that quiet. The red light to indicate that is running is not that visible during the middle of the day. Cleans well.

I bought this model as a replacement for my 14 yr. old Asko. Nice looking unit with nicely designed dish/silverware drawers. You have to look for the indicator light projected on the floor to know when it is running. Great wash cycles and the dishes come out sparkling clean. The only reason not 5 star review is the drying could be a little better.

We upgraded our purchase due to only a $50 difference. The dishwasher is amazingly quiet. Our dishes are very clean. Due to the lack of noise, it is handy to have a light shining on the floor indicating it is running. My only complaint is that fingerprints do show even though we were told it was the stainless steel that wouldn't show prints.

I'm in my later 50's and this is not my first dishwasher I've owned/installed/and yes even repaired a couple. The quality and design compliments each other. Dishes are clean clean clean. If the indicator light was not showing it was running you wouldn't know... VERY HAPPY!!!!

My LG diswasher broke & just before the xmas holiday we bought Bosch - 800 Series diswasher. The first one that was installed there was a problem with the buttons. there was some electrial issue. Best buy right away sent us another dishwasher and it was installed without a problem. Everything works great. I look forward to washing my dishes. The dishwasher was topic of conversation during xmas greathering. Its sleeklooking, no fingerprints works great. I have to slap my hand to NOT rinse the dishes first. I have NEVER put dirty dishes in a diswasaher before. This was new to both my husband & me, My dishes have never come out shining. I actually put all my dishes in to make them sparkle. It is so quiet that once my son opened it in mid cycle and jumped. He was shocked he did not now it was on. He took the baby bottle and we just closed it and it continued from where ever it was intrupted. I would recommend this washer to anyone. I would buy Bosch again. Cleaning the filter is not a big deal. I really catches a lot and i was able to clean it with out a problem.
