You can’t even tell it’s running unless you are standing on top of it. The drying is great although any concave surfaces still won’t dry, which is to be expected. So if you spend the money on a high end dishwasher, you need to learn how to put them in correctly to avoid having to dry. It was pricy, but couldn’t be happier

Very quiet and well-designed machine. I've only had it a week, but so far, so great. Love the Crystal Dry. The red light shining on the floor during operation is a great feature, which also makes for a bonus cat toy. I'm glad I waited for a Bosch to become available. This is 40.

Super quiet, makes the most use of space with all the convertible options including the third rack. I leave dishes in the dishwasher waiting to fill it and I don't have to worry about food not coming off. Dries excellently. The black matte finish is beautiful and easy to keep clean.

BEST dishwasher ever! I can't even hear whether it's on or not - so quiet!! Dishes come sparkling clean and DRY! No more wet plasticware. And the look is so sleek and polished. So happy I splurged and bought Bosch!

Our previous dishwasher was a lowe-spec Bosch that came with the house - it was old and didn't really do a good job of cleaning the dishes. This new one is in a different league - its practically silent, and cleans the dishes without us pre-rinsing them. Worth every penny we spent on it!

I have had this for over a month and few things I would change about the dishwasher and the process. First, I was replacing a 20-year old GE dishwasher that is built like a tank. It still worked, but never really dried the dishes well. This one was reviewed by Consumer Reports and did well, so we gave it a try. So, here are the highlights, if you are replacing an older dishwasher, you may need a new electrical box to connect it to your house. The installer had one, but it was an additional $100 on the spot, so add that to the cost. Second, my biggest complaint is that the door feels very flimsy and twists slightly when open and closing it. Third, there is no way to warn someone if you just washed dished or only used the rinse cycle. If someone opens it after the 9-minute rinse cycle they could potentially think the dishes were cleaned and try to put them away. I will probably add a "dirty/clean" magnet for others in the house to be aware of this, but that takes away from the clean aesthetic of the front. Fourth, the top rack gets really hot and has melted the coating off of some KitchenAid knives, so be careful. Lastly, the dryer seems to get things really dry about 50% of the time, so additional drying may still be needed especially on plastic items. As for the good, it cleans very, very well even though the cycle time is typically 2 hours. It is extremely quiet--I mean "really" quiet-- and it shows a solid red light on the floor when it's running so you can see that it's on at a glance. Its modular design is great for different sized items from pots and pans to small silverware. Overall, it is very easy to use even though 90% of the time I just use "Auto". Even with its faults, it's miles ahead of my old dishwasher. I would definitely buy it again just for the quiet operation. Did I mention it was quiet?

We purchased this dishwasher after lots of research. We had to replace our 4 year old KitchenAid, and we were pretty frustrated that it died so early. So we wanted to go with a different brand. “Everyone” says Bosch makes great dishwashers, but after research felt like the 800 series was the best option because of the heated drying feature. We have been extremely happy with its performance! We frequently have Tupperware or plastics in the wash and they aren’t wet when they come out. We’ve had the dishwasher now for over 2 months and would highly recommend it.

This is the second time I have bought a Bosch 800 series (new home, renovated kitchen) and the Bosch was the only appliance I wanted to make sure I had the same again. The Bosch is pricier than alternatives, but it's whisper quiet, cleans incredibly well, and looks sleek in the kitchen. I find it cleans better with powder vs tablets, and if you let the rinse aid run low, it won't dry as well - but otherwise, it's amazing.

one of the best silent, quiet & works well with that left over dirt in utensils plates etc. After 15 yrs with kenmore, this was the best experience with oin drop silence & i love that feature, thank you bosch for making this happen

Excellent dishwasher, worth the price. The 3rd shelf is a game changer, the flushed buttons are easy to press and use. Lastly, it is very very quite, definitely worth the price, I highly recommend paying the extra dollar for the 800 series, you won’t regret it.

This dishwasher replaced a 15 year old GE dishwasher. I didn't realize how much the old one wasn't cleaning, but the Bosch cleans everything that we throw at it. No greasy residue, no spotted glasses. We use Finish rinse agent tablets due to the Bosch marketing recommendation. We used to use Cascade on the old one, so maybe that impacted the cleaning ability, but who knows? I had a Bosch before and it is built like a tank. And drying is not a problem. Everything comes out dry. That was my concern from reading reviews, but so far no problem.

I love this dishwasher. There, I said it. Got this to replace a problematic Samsung that was in our new house when we moved in. It was out of stock for a long while, and there were issues with actually getting it delivered to our house, but it was worth the wait. I have never owned a dishwasher that cleaned so well. The crystal dry feature works very well. It isn't as quiet as I expected, but it is quiet - we can watch tv in the family room that is open to the kitchen with no interference. I picked this because it was highly rated in CR. Highly recommend.

This is a great dishwasher. Extremely quit. Dishware is clean every single time. Racks can easily be removed. A little hard to reinstall though. My one complaint is the bottom basket. If the wheels come out of the track they are not self centering. You have to really center the wheels to get them back into the track. If you know that then it is not a problem. Don't lift the basket when pulling it out. I installed our and was easy to install. There is a adjusting screw in the front to adjust the rear mounting pads. Leveling the unit was so simple and quick. The black stainless door does not show finger prints. A Big Plus for use

I really like this dishwasher overall - it's extremely quiet, and washes the dishes very well. My only disappointment was the clearance between the second and third shelves - it does not allow for larger glasses to be washed - those have to go on the lower shelf. Installation was easy with the kits in purchased from Best Buy.

Quiet as a mouse. Cleans exceptionally well. Only negative is that the rinse aid holder does not have a clear window gauge of what percent of the rinse aid is present for the total capacity. Can't really tell if it is low.

I love this machine. Previous dishwashers got the dishes clean, but this machine is awesome! The fisher sparkle ❇️. And it is super quiet. There was no installation available, so it took my husband a while to get it installed, but I am very happy with the purchase.

This dishwasher is all that we hoped it would be: cleans extremely well, very quiet, very stylish looking in an unobtrusive way. High praise all around.

The silverware tray is a blessing, exceptional cleaning of all dishes very quiet you can’t hear it. The light on the floor makes it easy to see if it is in use. Wish it had a count down display. Buttons on top are not “real” buttons so they are hard to get used to.

So far, we love this dishwasher. It is quiet, easy to load and the dishes have come out perfectly clean each and every time. Be sure to use the rinse aid if to ensure that the drying works correctly. Highly recommended.
