Great addition to the bose 500 speaker, although pricey. The speaker alone is pretty great without the sub, but the sub does add extra bass.

I have mine set too -10 it goes up to 10 had it at 10 a few times still no distortion,price but worth it or look for open box option,perfect for movies and i also have the surround 300 speakers ignore the comments about the rear speakers just turn the center channel down that will allow you to add more volume then add the rears and adjust the level from the app when you get the correct volume you will know it,hope this helps.

I bought this for my bedroom to go along with my bow's smartsound bar 600. And it sounds amazing in the bedroom, not a bad subwoofer. I have a 700 series and a 900 series in my living sounds just as good, so for a small area. This woofer is amazing

It’s a great product with powerful bass for small rooms. Best for movies and music. Works perfect with Bose sound bar 300.

I paired the Module 500 up with the 600 sound bar with no issues and it sounds great. You can really tell the difference in the bass and lows. You can adjust the bass level on the app. Great for movies and music. Paid regular price but it went on sale and I got it price matched with no problems. Its a must if its in your budget.

Bose is my choice when it comes to sound. The clarity that it offers is second to none and with the latest Bluetooth technology it makes wired connections a thing of the past. The quality speaks for itself and they never disappoint

The Bose 500 Subwoofer is the best subwoofer money can buy, in my opinion. You don't need the volume up on it much and it reverberates bass sound so clearly and robustly. The clarity of sound on this is amazing.

Good sound for a small room. This sub will not resonate/punch in the largest room, but it great for smaller environments, such as enclosed gaming room, etc… Low extension is good and the form factor makes it easy to place. I’m using it in a smaller 16x18 gaming room and it fills out the bottom end quite well. Very happy with it. I only gave it four instead of five stars due to limited “punch” for its size and price. I think for the price, it should hit a little harder.

The 600 soundbar and the 600 subwoofer has very good sound in a medium sized room 15 × 15. It needs the 3.5 mm bose cable to connect it to the to each other. If you can spend more money get the 900 soundbar with the 700 subwoofer. They have movie theater sound and connect wirelessly
