    Would work fine if the Bose 900 Soundbar wasnt absolute trash. Decent base, but Id go Sonos. This system is not ready for market, a connection doesnt last more than 20 minutes via an HDMI ARC connection before the sound cuts out. spend the next 5 minutes fumbling with the remote until it magically pops back on. rewind your scene and enjoy for 10 minutes... awful

    I bought the bass module 500 in November of 2020. It stopped working and won't turn on. There are a few youtube videos of fixes for a common component. Seems like a quality issue that needs a recall. It's now a $500 paper weight and the website is almost useless to get online support. The system doesn't recognize the serial number and if you go through the steps for online trouble shooting, you get a message that this product is not support in your region. I'm in the US and bought it at Best Buy, how is it not supported? Finally called in the 800 number and to fix it will be an additional $170. I would not recommend buying this, it will break in less than three years.

      Hello Leigh, If you have tried all the recommended troubleshooting and the Bass module is still not functioning, then a repair would be the next option. It's worth noting that the repair cost includes shipping to and from the facility and will also have a repair warranty provided that will cover the Bass module for another 12 months, once it has been sent back from the repair facility.

    Disappointing Performance

    I paired this subwoofer with the Bose Soundbar 500. Although it adds some depth, the soundbar and subwoofer together still lack depth and power. Even with the volume turned up fairly high you don't feel the bass even 5 feet away in a small living room. For the price of this system I expected much better performance. I would not recommend.

    Product is okay (3 stars). But I opened an open box and the product failed in the same week. The Best Buy process deserve 0 stars. In the product description, was classified as an excellent condition. But …… it isn’t working fine.
