I thought it was wireless, and then after that, it took a little bit more to adjust, not too many options. Ended up having to return it because just was not satisfied with the overall sound so went with the next model up.

This bass module is indeed wireless, but there may be exceptional circumstances where you have to connect it via a cable, e.g. in cases of heavy signal interference.
