Bought this for my Bose 300 Soundbar and they pair together nice and work hand in hand definitely would recommend

I used to work at Best Buy and the general sentiment among my peers was to pick Sonos over Bose products. I still decided to go with Bose because I had a stronger employee discount with them. My thought process was I hardly watch TV and it wouldn’t really matter with my use case. I brought the soundbar with the base module 500 as a birthday gift for myself. The soundbar gave me initial problems but it’s fine as of now. However the base module seemingly starting to fail on me. Currently I’m experiencing “popping” and cut offs randomly while watching/listening to something. It seems to be fine at extremely low volumes (such as watching something before bed) but when you set it at daytime volumes, the base module begins to act up. I have never set the volume to a point where it would stress out the speakers as I live in an apartment and my neighbors would complain. Extremely disappointed at this product as it only has been 5 MONTHS . I’m currently looking at manufacture warranties, but they’re online support is TERRIBLE. I am prompted to input my serial number and get greeted with an array of reasons why Bose can’t service my product. 1. I’m in the “wrong country”, 2. “Product is newly launched” 3 “your product requires special care - frames”. Are you kidding me?!? Not only can it not pinpoint the best course of action but it provides me irrelevant reasons why it can’t help me. 1, I know for a fact I’m in the right country/region for warranty claims. 2. The product has been out for at least 3 years. 3. Special care - frames?? How can you confuse these with sunglasses?!? Finally, the cherry on top is that customers service is closed during the time of this review. I’m glad I essentially got this deal as a buy one, get one free with my discount. If you’re going to pay full price for both items, I’d stay away from their products and go with Sonos.

I'll start by saying if you're going with Bose, you probably need to have Bose everything. I have a Bose sound bar and bough this to go with it. I wasn't really impressed with the bass. I think it also needs the surround sound speakers, which I was not about to shell out another few hundred for. So I returned it. I think when combined with Bose surround sound speakers, this Bass Module could be great, it just wasn't the right purchase for me.

I love my bow's surround sound it is the best one I've bought so far Do recommend this item

It has some ok base. But nothing too special so i dont recommend if u can upgrade

Initially it seems to be a plug and play and it wasn’t.. but once installed it was way better than expected in sound quality..

Bought a Bose Sound Woofer but returned and bought Samsung sound system for my Samsung TV

Not that great unless you have the volume turned up

happy with this bass module 500 . also I purchased the sound bar 500. wanted the 700 series but im happy with this500 series.

Not bad. Not what I expected. Base is so so. Could be better.

Sub works with blu-rays, 4Ks...movies and music. I don't know its there for TV. Also difficult to set up and get it working with the sound bar.

Has just enough bass for my house. Perfect size and sound.

I am not the greatest fan of this product. I continue buying other pieces of the bose system with hopes it makes a difference, but the quality is mediocore. Its not enough. Its ok for the music.

I love the smaller size this one was for my bedroom and you don't notice it being there and has just as much sound as the larger one

This item is decent but does not provide the floor vibrating bass one would hope for during the explosions scenes but also is not distorted at all.

Tv and shows is decent, movies and music is where it shines Don’t expect crazy bass

I love Bose products but this bass is just okay. It's way over priced. It's only worth about maybe $150 not $500. I wish I had sent mine back because of the poor value.
