    came as open box and was just that, didnt work right at all and the sound bar too very un-happy with this buy, took it back.

    I paired this Bass Module with the soundbar 500. They were made for each other! The bass module adds the extra depth to the sound bar. Setup was a breeze, the app walks you through every step. It pairs with other items if you have them quickly. It did have to update, which took about 20 minutes. But it did it through the app and seemed to go quickly. My wife questioned what it actually did, she did not hear the bass at all. I turned on a movie that would have a lot of bass, and the sound was eye opening. It was perfect! The depth was incredible. The power you can almost feel. It is the perfect addition to any soundbar, or Bose product. It does have a jack, to allow other speakers and accessories to be added. It is extremely sleek, and modern looking. Not an eye sore at all. It appears to be well made. The size surprised me somewhat. But the sound that comes from it, that surprise quickly faded. It is exactly what you’d expect from a bass.

    Seriously I never complained at all and I used to love Bestbuy, but NOT anymore. I am an engineer and my company just opened another store. I did purchase this one for our new store music system. I bought it ahead because I wanted to be ready to install everything and we opened on the July 4th. It didn’t work with our system. I brought it back to do a return just a day after of our grand opening. Bestbuy won’t to return my money. They asked me if I wanna keep it, exchange or get bestbuy credits because of “out-of- warranty days”. I had no choice and had to get the store credits. I used my card to pay for that and my company won’t to give back money to me. I had to keep the store credits for nothing. No more Bestbuy from that day!

    Great a Bose product, not really understanding difference or use. I recommend buying a advanced compact sound bar than buying this multiple items.

    The Bose Bass Module 500 Wireless Subwoofer delivers impressive and clear bass, perfectly complementing the sound of my Bose soundbar. Compact and sleek, it fits easily into any space and is simple to connect wirelessly. Although it’s a bit pricey, the sound quality and wireless convenience more than make up for it. Excellent choice for anyone looking for immersive and refined audio.

    Doesn't keep wireless connection

    This subwoofer will not keep its wireless connection. I went through every troubleshooting scenario multiple times with no luck. Ended up having to run a 3.5mm cable from Soundbar to subwoofer. It defeats the purpose of why I purchased this item.

    Necessary addition to Bose 500 soundbar

    The Bose 500 is a nice smart speaker by itself, but really comes alive adding this subwoofer. In the 500 sub-woofer speaker box; Subwoofer and power cord (which has no “block” so easily plugs into AC outlet, nice if running thru a wall too). Very basic “setup” manual The sub-woofer is a pleasant enough shape with the same flat black finish as the soundbar. It’s also relatively small and weighs about 11 lbs. While the soundbar by itself fills the room – adding the subwoofer provides that much needed background bass/oomph that brings your music and films alive. Synching with the soundbar is easily done by adding it thru the Bose Music app. I have had no drops in its connectivity to the soundbar so far. Since its wireless you can pretty much place anywhere, you’d like within a reasonable distance. Downsides are I could not find its response or output specs anywhere. And while needed it’s a somewhat pricey addition.

    Not a sub… it’s a little 5 inch woofer made to help the base of the soundbar but not a sub sound get the bigger one.

    This speaker sounds great, I only gave it three stars because it makes a popping noise at times which seems to be normal for the subwoofer. This is unacceptable especially for how pricey Bose products are

    I had to return two of these units because the bass cuts out, and nothing on gods green earth could restore it , even after hours spent on the internet troubleshooting.

    I’ve had it since 5/6 and it sounded amazing like shook my entire room, however recently the speaker sounds broken. It’s already blown out and makes a strange jittering sound but then works again. Idk about this mate’s

      I would recommend that you try to resetting it. You can do this by unplugging for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

    Your geek squad hung up in my face when I asked to reschedule my installation due to me being in rehab bc of a recent stroke. I when I questioned why will I be charged twice for installation he hung up an blocked my calls. I bought from BOSE and saved 100$.

    Ended up returning. Was disappointed on sound. Bought it because we have a Bose soundbar and was sad on sound. Went back and ended up getting a Samsung combo subwoofer and soundbar which are awesome!!!
