    Best Base

This base is amazing!!! It’s incredible how much sound it can produce. I can hear it perfectly no matter where I am but it can also only be heard in the entertaining room. When watching movies you feel like you’re in the theater, the sound quality is that great. It’s also great for watching tv shows and gaming. The sound quality clear and powerful. It’s the perfect combination of sound and size. I love the design of this speaker. Its visually more appealing than other bases. It blends in with the rest of my entertainment center perfectly. The set up on this divice is simple and quick. Overall, I would recommend this speaker to anyone who is looking for a base. It won’t disappoint.

i'd pass on this if i could do it again. No matter how i set up the equalizer the bass pushed out is extremely weak. Wish i had spent the extra money on the 700.

RETURNING I replaced my Samsung with Bose and a week later I realized I made an expensive mistake. The soundbar gives off this popping clicking noise when I plug in the subwoofer. Yes, I did a ton of online research to resolve it… expensive does not mean quality

      Hello Rell,

The bass module should not be making a popping noise. Does this only occur when it's first plugged in or throughout use? If you need any assistance, please reach out to us via https://bose.life/3ET4mCs.

If you require a wired connection from your soundbar to your bass module for it to work properly, it means that you are getting external interference. Check your router is at least 5ft from your soundbar and bass module.

Purchased it 10 months ago and it started giving weird cracking sounds after 8 months of usage. Customer service offered only repair and no replacement. Feels like cheated for the amount of money I paid and never recommend anyone to buy this without an extended warranty.

      Hi Dabb,

I'm sorry that you're experiencing a popping/crackling sound with your bass module. This usually indicates possible interference. If you've introduced any nearby electronics recently, I'd recommend removing them to see if the issue is resolved. You can also connected the bass module to your soundbar using a 3.5mm AUX cable. These will eliminate any chance of interference.

      Thanks,

I'm sorry to hear you returned your Bass Module 500! To ensure you get plenty of bass, we recommend running the ADAPTiQ process once you've connected the bass module. Don't forget you can also go to "Audio" in the Bose app, where you can increase or decrease the response of the bass module in -/+10 increments. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support bose

      Hello Tom,

I understand you've returned the speaker. It is unusual for the Bass Module not to work, to use it with the TV speaker you'll need a 3.5mm AUX cable.

When trying to set up, it took 3 people at first to figure it out. I called Best Buy and Bose. Bose told us to return it.I then had the Geek Squad come and check ou the issue. The 2 techs still could not get it set up. We returned the Bose system to Best Buy. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. WE ended up going with another sound system completely. We all believed it was a Bose issue.

      Hi Philip,

To get the most from the Bass Module, place it near wall or in a corner. Please make sure that you run the ADAPTiQ calibration if available on your Bose Soundbar, or adjust the EQ settings for the Soundbar.
We'd love to help you with this, so please do reach out: https://bose.life/contact

A waste of time and money. I bought it to originally pair it up with the tv sound bar and it turns out I had to buy an additional wire from speaker to sub base. The cable comes sold separately and you have to buy it separate. Just Garbage!
