    Not much bass , and it sucks it only can be paired with bose

    It doesn't put out no bass. I thought that's what subwoofers did. I had a little Samsung that produced more bass than that thing. Very disappointed..

    Found the sound bar and subwoofer very difficult to set up. Could not get them to automatically connect/sync or stay connected. When our power went out, this process needed constant attention. Spent some time on the phone with a Bose tech and it was just so timely and after all that who wanted to watch a movie.

    Big BOSE let down

    I'm a big BOSE fan, but if this had been my first BOSE I never would have bought another. It makes no noticeable difference with the sound bar, in fact the Only way you know it is on and working is if you put your hand on it to feel a slight vibration

      Hello Ronald,

      I'd recommend to get the most from the Bass Module, to rerun the ADAPTiQ (If available) on your Soundbar to ensure it's fully calibrated. You can also adjust the EQ settings and increase the Bass from within the Bose Music app if you'd like more than what you're getting.

    Horrible rattling sound and cannot return or swap out for another one because of a 14 day return policy. That has got to be against the law

    I purchased this product that I was unable to wireless connect because it did not show on the Bose Music App. I had to purchase the amp wiring so it could connect. I would not recommend. The amp wiring should have come with the system.

    I have given it 1 star because it lasted only about 17 months. Just stopped working you would think for almost 500.00 it would have lasted a little longer! Very disappointed!

    This legendary Bose Product rocks. For those consumers who are unfamiliar with the Bose name, you've found of one of the best products on the market today. Bose is an awesome company which produces some of the wickedest products. The Bose 500 Subwoofer will not disappoint. Its wireless capability, its simple setup, and awesome sound are truly hard to beat. I urge you to go out and listen to it yourself. I coupled my Bose 500 Subwoofer with the Bose 500 soundbar. They beautifully complement each other and will simply rock your world with a concert-hall experience. The lows are more like a theater experience. Crank the volume up and set the Bass control to 10 and enjoy the explosion of sound. Bose is a winner in every way. PURE LISTENING PLEASURE is how I rate this product. Hearing is believing. Bose is the absolutely the best

    The Bose Bass Module 500 is a very powerful and punchy bass module for its small size. This module accompanies the Bose Soundbar 500 and they both sound superb when combined. The design is very elegant and sharp looking, it blends in very tidy with my current setup. Unboxing the Bass module was very simple and straightforward task. Setup and connection to the Soundbar 500 is a very easy process through the Bose Connect App. The build quality feels very long lasting and sturdy, it is made out of very nice materials. The sound quality is excellent, it really provides a great punch to the Soundbar 500 experience. It really excels in all areas from listening to music to watching movies Adjusting the bass level is very simple and is done through the Bose app. I would highly recommend the Bass module 500 to anyone buying the Soundbar 500 because it accompanies the soundbar perfectly and provides that low-end range the soundbar cannot do on its own. Overall this is a great addition to the soundbar 500 and would highly recommend the bass module 500 because it adds that extra sound performance to watching movies and listening to music, it can really make the room shake

    Out of my trying to save, I got this to complement Bose 900 sound bar, only to feel incompletely happy. It sounded awesome in the store but at home in the living room it does not deliver as I expected it would.

    Terrible subwoofer. Constantly cracking and popping. I even tried using a Bose 3.5mm cable to prevent "Wifi" inference and it didn't help at all. At this time I am thinking about returning the 500 bass module and the 300 sound bar and getting something else.

    Our subsequent JBL was 10x better and 1/3 the price. these speakers have Alexa but you can't coordinate them with your other Alexa controlled speakers in the house. There is a delay. It's awful. What a ton of time trying to make this thing work for nothing. Bose should go back to regular speakers. They really lost their way.

    Right after the return period ended this expensive box started making random popping/crackling noises that did not coincide with the program being watched. Very disappointed in this product
