Still not sure why I bought it. Can’t tell the difference in sound. It was a lot of money for ??

Did not pair to Bose speaker bar 900 series and Best Buy associates are even more useless .

The packaging was very minimal and easy to undo. Everything was easy to find in the package. It came with everything you need to get up and running. Using the Bose music app It came right up and started working. The sound was great. it’s not to loud and sounds natural. The bass sound but is not heavy or drowning it sounds very natural /pure. It’s just enough to give it a little if the deep sounds. I’m not one to play my movies or tv at a really loud volume I prefer a mid level sound. Paired with the bar I’m super happy with it. It was a huge upgrade from the tv speakers. It is small and compact not huge. It doesn’t take up too much space. The black does get some inter prints on it, but once set up ur not messing with it u less dusting. Bose did not disappoint.

Under powered and has a crackle with less than a year of use.

See some glitches with turn on off feature, but quality is good after it turns on

Bass module will rumble with interference. Bose told me to connect a wireless speaker with a cable. Horrible quality.

My husband and I bought this after being told you’ll feed and it’ll sound like your at the race, game ect. It’s not banging it’s not loud . Super disappointed.

Just now powerful enough bass for my taste. I will be returning this item.

Couldn’t connect to Sound Bar 300. Geek Squad unable to resolve. Recommended I not use the device

It works. Was quite dusty and meeded cleanjng. Otheriwse it works .

Can barely hear the bass. Not worth the price at all!!!

Started dropping and popping noise. Tried different wireless configurations even thru 3.5 audio cord no luck. Sounds good when it works very disappointed.

So difficult to connect. Blue tooth and app are clunky.

You can't go wrong with this excellent Bose sub-woofer. Crystal clear, magnificent sound always clear, crisp, and heart throbbing. Easily set up wirelessly and hearing the beautiful sound difference. You will instantly think and feel as if you have purchased a brand new TV after connecting this sub-woofer and noticing a major sound difference throughout the room and entire house. This sub-woofer is beautifully designed, taking up very little space, producing beautiful sounds. I love it!

This is a great bass module and companion to the 500 Sound Bar that I installed in my bedroom. The setup was easy, plug it in and it automatically connects to the sound bar. The bass is noticeable and easily adjustable in the Bose app. This is a pretty small module, and the pair are pretty expensive. I have this in my bedroom and am not sure if it would be enough sound in my living room. That said, I am thrilled with the sound and the boom I get in my bedroom with this device and the sound bar. Bose just makes great products.

The Bose 500 Sub-woofer is the companion sub-woofer for the Bose 500 Soundbar. Setup is quite straightforward. Just plug the device and put it in a corner and use the Bose Music app to add it to the Bose 500 Soundbar. Also this works for the Bose 700 and Bose Soundtouch 300 theough both soundbars have their matching sub-woofers. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s a mix and match between these soundbars. That said this sub-woofer has mixed review with some claiming that it lacks punch. While Bose does not really release specs and is lower than the Bose 700 sub or the AM300 sub, this relatively small sub-woofer can still pack a punch. You just have to do the setup in the Bose Music App. Do note the Bose 500 is the entry level of the two Alexa enabled soundbars, its performance though having the signature Bose sound may not appeal to everyone. For those wanting a louder sound then the 700 series or the 300 series or maybe even the Acoustimass line maybe better for you. But for those having a smaller space, the Bose 500 sub can adequately supplement the Bose 500 soundbar with room filling and thumping sound. For those with a Bose 500, this is a highly recommended addition.

It has amazing sound quality and makes me feel like I am watching my shows at the theatre. The design is very sleek, and looks great with my TV. It seems very durable. It was quick and easy to set up straight from the box, and I had absolutely no issues with setup. I have used it for about a month and have had no issues! This was a great addition to my movie-watching/music-listening experience!

I bought this unit with the sound bar. Base was not good.

This is a very low profile but very powerful subwoofer. It’s a sleek matte black compact cube (looks like a simple black box from far but there’s more to the design when you get up close to it) that’s a little under a foot high (at about 10x10x10 inches). It’s built well and is sturdy/heavy. It’s wireless (only has a power chord) so it was convenient for me to put it in the corner out of sight - i didn’t have to stretch wires from it to my entertainment center. Setting it up was also quick (a matter of minutes) and easy - all that was needed was the Bose app and connection to the WiFi - i was able to pair it with my Bose Sound-Bar 500 which i also paired with Alexa - so i was able to stream music through both. The music i stream and the movies i play “feel” more real. It’s a very powerful subwoofer - adds a lot of effect to movies and really fills the room and then some. I like the rumble it gives to the floors and walls - immerses me in the movie and its effects.
