Its been three weeks since the purchase day, and all i can say is that the sound of this equipment is uniq, is a littler expensive but if you are looking for best sound, bose it is.

Good quality and well worth it , it’s a must for the full experience. Honest review this will do right , I have both this one and the 700 and this one is slightly quieter than the 700 but the 700 just seem better built.

Added to my Bose 600 Surround bar. The Subwoofer really enhances the sound.

it is fantastic and so small yet so boomy. love it but i got the 700 instead so it will match the glass top of the soundbar.

First I purchased the smart sound bar 300 very happy with that then I brought the surround speakers which made a big difference Couldn’t really stop there and went for the base module 500 for a fully emerged sound experience and very easy to set up.

Really added the extra thump to my previously purchased soundbar. We live in townhouse so not overpowering to upset neighbors, but enough to add depth in my TV sound.

I want to clearly state that if you are planning to buy the Bose 500 soundbar, you must get this subwoofer. The soundbar by itself sounds pitiful without this since it can output very little bass. I tried this subwoofer/soundbar combination because I couldn't get tower speakers and I didn't want to put large holes in my ceiling. I also couldn't get a large soundbar to cover up the nice piece of the furniture I had. In terms of packaging, the subwoofer is very compact. It was pretty easy to setup as you add it through the Bose app. Once it's connected, you make the adjustments through the app which is simply a + and - for bass. I wish I could control it by buttons on the sub itself. The subwoofer sounded good but sounded a little boomy on certain TV shows. In terms of value, the subwoofer/soundbar combo is overpriced (I paid around $900). If the subwoofer was more like $275, it would be a much better value. I ended returning the whole system as it didn't sound good enough for the price and I went with ceiling speakers instead.

Best in class for the Price. If your looking for the best in home theater sound ... this is the bass module you should pair with the Equally awesome and amazing bose Smart Soundbar 300. The app lets you customise the levels of bass, treble etc.

The boss soundbar was grest on its own but this sub really helped give us the full home theater experience

Overpriced but if you like Bose you dont have a choice. It makes the movie experience much better

Excellent sound and bass quality. Although there is a huge difference between the 500 and 700 series, this is a perfect compliment to the 900 Soundbar.

I now have three rooms with a Bose soundbar and the subwoofer. In each case I purchased the soundbar first and then purchased the subwoofer a week or so later to improve the experience. Even in a small room the subwoofer adds depth.

We own two of these and they have great sound. We use one in our bedroom and one in the garage mainly for music.
