Worth it, I have 2. Total immersive sound and clean bass tones with no rattling

The Bass Module 500 does exactly what you'd expect from Bose; clean bass, seamless connectivity, and a dead-simple setup through the app. I had it paired with my Bose soundbar in minutes with no fuss. It rounds out the sound beautifully right out of the box. The only knock is limited fine-tuning for anyone who wants granular bass adjustments. It's also a bit overpriced, but that's the Bose tax; you're paying for reliability, ease of use, and peace of mind. Would buy again. If you already own a Bose soundbar and want fuller sound without a complicated setup, this is the move.

Southwest subwoofer you cannot enjoy the real home theater system. Please go for it.

Works great, i have a small room and can't put the level above 50 or the walls will shake. So this would be just fine for a medium room or bigger i think. Wouldn't even bother getting the 700 sub, get this amd save a few hundred bucks. Connects flawlessly with my bose 900 soundbar and 700 surrounds, never disconnects. Thw whole system together sounds unbelievably good when watching 4K discs, even stremaing too

I purchased the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 with Voice Assistance to replace a Bose Acoustimass-5 Series II speaker system that I had been using since 1994. I chose not to buy the Bass Module at that time. As I had read in reviews, it didn't provide the bass I was used to so I purchased the bass module. What a difference! Not only can you hear the bass, at times you can even feel it. It was very easy to set up and adjustments are made through an app on your phone. I highly recommend buying the 2 together. It makes for an amazing experience when watching television or listening to music.

This sub is awesome! Has the deepest lows I have heard to date. A small footprint with Large thumping base. If you like base that adds to the listening experience this will produce it!!

Good sound but the lowest frequencies are lost. Anything below 50hz is slightly lost and Anything below 35hz is completely lost. But fot most movies this sub packs a punch for it's compact size. I paired this with the bose smart soundbar and it's a great combo. I got this for $100 off and I reviewed on that price.

Much needed addition to for any Bose Soundbars. I have read some different reviews how one must get the Bass Module 700 no matter what and the 500 would pale in comparison and was always worth the extra price. Being that the price is another few hundred dollars, I decided to give this a try. I was absolutely blown away! Looks can be deceptive. This may be small in size, but for a medium sized living room, this could even be overkill even at medium bass settings

Great addition to my Bose ultra sound bar as it adds depth to the listening experience. Very easy to connect.

I have the larger bass module for my living room, and got this for my bedroom just to add a little depth of sound. OMG!!!! The quality far exceeds expectations, was super easy to pair with my Smart Soundbar 900, and now it sounds like a true theater for late night movies in bed!!! Is also very discrete, I placed it in the corner of the room Bose is my go to for my whole house!

Well, this base module is really good overall. Of course you will pay a bit more b/c you are paying for the bose name, but I really like this device. It's small, compact and looks premium. Definitely adds on to completing a nice experience when watching a movie.

My 700 soundbar sound better now since,I buy my 500 subwoofer the sound is great and music also clears too.

I like this bass module, it packs a decent punch but the wireless connecting is poor and results in popping nosies as other reviewers have mentioned. The easy fix is to just get the $10 cable that Bose makes, (sold separately of course). For the price it's fine but the wireless connection issues really is a drag.

This subwoofer is so amazing, I cannot even use 1/3 of its capability. The bass that comes from this unit gives a viewing, sound effect, and music experience likeno other.

The sound quality is incredible when combined with the Bose soundbar. You can appreciate the sound of each instrument, and people's voices come through crystal clear. You can hear even the slightest detail in the music or movie.
