This system is good for smaller rooms and/or where you don't want to do a lot of hard wiring of speakers. Produces a clearer richer sound that enhances your movies, TV watching, streaming and music. The upgrade is especially noticeable with music, as when you are listening to an IPod or something like Pandora.

My husband has this speaker in his man cave for the football games and loves it. we watch movies together and the action movies sound like going to the movie theater...it really bumps up the movie experience.

Got this on sale for $350 which is a phenomenal deal for Bose and glad I did. Great sound from such a little speaker. Still get somewhat stereo effect as sound goes out both ends of speaker also. Bose rocks!

Tried a few brands of $400 price range sound bars. All had problems and sound just ok. Purchased Cinemate 15. Huge difference! Big room loud and clear sound! No Bluetooth but can manage with a wire.

This past Christmas I was in the market for a home theatre system. I went into Best Buy and feel in love with the Bose sound touch 300 sound bar and sub woofer. Unfortunately 1500 bucks wasn't in my budget. So decided to get the Bose solo 5. Now the solo 5 was a great piece of equipment but not what I was wanting. I wanted something with that bass. So I ended up with the cinemate 15!!! This system is no slouch and provides great crisp sound with the 12" sound bar but also a nice deep bass that brings music and movies to life. The only downside is that it's not Bluetooth. You can use a set of rca jacks to play music or you can buy Bose soundlink and make life just a tad bit more convenient.

The difference in the Bose and the stock tv speakers is night and day. The wife won't let me crank it like "I" want to, but hey...when I get the chance, it's astounding...I'd have two if I could !!!

No additional wires required and easy installation

I really like the sound of my speaker system. My son had suggested that I get a speaker system. I had an old surround sound system that we were always trying to adjust it. This system works great.

I got this system to replace a home theater with speaker wires. I does a good job enriching the sound of regular TV, movies and CDs. The only problem is that the on light is small and difficult to see. Also, no menu to adjust the sound, only the bass control on the back of the subwoofer.
