I bought this product to replace an older Bose surround sound system. To be sure it does not have the same impact, but it is easy to install, lightweight and does not require as much space. I plan to downsize my home size and this is an except able replacement.

Only 2.1 but has great acoustics for the small size of the soundbar.

Some movies are really hard to hear. I am not impressed with this system.

Before I talk about the Cinemate 15 I would like to point out that before I purchased this sound bar I had purchased the 300w Sony Soundbar. I took it home and was very impressed with the sound. I loved that fact that it has a wireless subwoofer, it was Bluetooth compatible, it has 4 HDMI ports, 1 opticle and 1 analog output. A week later I got the cinemate 15 for my birthday and hooked them together side by side to compare. The sound that comes from the Cinemate 15 is noticeably better compared to the Sony. The Bose seems to do a MUCH better job filling up the room. The bass from the Cinemate 15 is also stronger. As far as dialog, both did a very good job but again the sound just seems to fill up the room a lot better coming from the Bose. AGAIN, the Sony was a great system but I prefered the sound coming from the Bose a lot better. The things I really don't like about the Cinemate 15 is the fact that it's not Bluetooth compatible (you can buy an adaptor for $60.00, but when you're paying 600.00 for a Soundbar..it's inexcusable) I also wish the subwoofer was wireless, and that it came with an HDMI port instead of just an opticle and analog output. Overall, I returned the Sony and kept the Bose..the sound is truly remarkable and you really get the feeling of being in a movie theater!

Overall excellent product, sound quality as expected from Bose.

Goes great with my 65" tv that doesn't have the best sound quality. Definitely adds to and makes up for it and makes the bass sound great. Love that it's adjustable too and very small. Takes up very little space but has some good power to it.

You can hear the details... Those things that can go unnoticed even the plain 'spoken word' can be heard better but, I would rater have a 5.1 system that puts you in the center of the action. If you have problems hearing dialog or the news casters, this would surely be woth a try

This product is a great price but has given us some problems. It is very, very sensitive. Many times it would cut in and out. Also very annoying and frustrating but the remote would not work to turn on/off the system. Not the best but could also be just ours is malfunctioning.

Can't fill ant surround sound as advertised in commercial. It just good replacement for tv speaker.

Bought this speaker system with my 50 inch LG tv. Was looking to downsize and streamline my home theater setup and get rid of the wires and clutter. Small foot print and great sound. Movies, music and video games sound great.
