Wonderful speakers ... highly recommend.. I have used other PC speakers in the past but nothing matches the quality sound of these speakers.

For my computer I had always had a 2.1 configuration of some description and was concerned that these speakers would not provide low frequency depth without a subwoofer. However, after cranking up these speakers through a variety of music genres I can safely say this concern is a non-issue. Of course you're not going to get the full cinema experience with heart-pounding bass out of them, but I have been extremely impressed by the quality and loudness of these speakers.

Bose has never failed to impress me with their products. The Bose® - Companion® 2 Series III Multimedia Speaker System is no exception. Small desktop speakers often lack the bass response I require when listening to music. As a bass guitarist, hearing well defined bass parts are very important. This system gives me what I need in audio playback without being muddy or compromising any of the mid or high range frequencies. Unpacking this product and getting set up is a breeze! Whether an average listener or a audiophile, Bose has you covered!

Wanted a lot more sound out of my computer when listening to the music on my computer and these do the job, and Bose has always been a good speaker.

These things are exactly what I needed for a great price! Highly recommended!
