A: I was debating between the two as well, and while the Companion 20s offer deeper bass delivery and a wider range in frequency, don't be so quick to dismiss the Companion 2s with their low price compared to the 20s. Q: is there an equalizer setting available
A: No, I am frustrated without being able to boost the base and the volume is low.
Q: Can these speakers be hooked up to a television as well?
A: Sure, if your TV has a headphone jack. Works great! If Audio Out using phono jacks, adapters are available almost anywhere for a couple bucks.

Q: How many watts are these speakers
A: I cannot find any mention of wattage on the box, the speakers or the papers that came with them.
Q: what are the size of each speaker?
A: About: 5.9" Deep 3.1" Wide 7.5" High
A: To mount these speakers on a wall or under a shelf you pull the rubber feet off the speaker stands and attach them thru the holes where the feet were using locally sourced hardware.
Q: Do you have to have a power supply for both or will the one speaker work stand alone with out power?
A: The Companion 2 III speakers require power however the power supply is only connected to the right speaker. The left speaker connects to the right via a cable.
