The good thing is you can max out the volume, and the sound won't distort, so even if you crank it to 10, you're not hurting your speakers.

If you have a need for very loud speakers these may not be for you, but for general use they do a great job.

These speakers produce better sound without a subwoofer than most reasonably priced speakers with a subwoofer. Very good tone and range. Very satisfied.
