My husband and I are very happy with this purchase. You can never go wrong with Bose. We use them with iTunes and Pandora and the music always sounds wonderful!

Not for people that want a booming sound or loud output. Clean sound and music listening at lower volume levels.

i live in a condo where noise is frowned upon. these are a great set of computer speakers without the noise from a subwoofer that sound crystal clear

Need I say more...its BOSE! You know what to expect. You get what you pay for. Sound is great for compact speaker without separate Bass box.

I bought these as something to plug into when I am working at home on my laptop. These are great speakers with a good overall sound. Not as loud as I would want but are good for a small space.

I was surprised hor easy it was to set up and use. It has to be easy if a village idiot like me can figure it out.

Previously I had a surround sound system--then we moved. For new place, no surround sound. Got these to listen to music and watch occasional video/movie on the PC. These are adequate and meet my needs. I typically run them at close to half volume with PC volume set to about 60/100. No sub is needed as these do a decent job reproducing treble and bass. One minus another user pointed out is the speakers input jack is on right side. My computer is on left side so the 4ft cord will not reach the desktop (tower). I had to use another cable/extender. My recommendation to Bose is to include a 6ft cable instead of 4ft (1.5m). If you don't mind paying 2x as much and want to keep things small (e.g. no sub) I would consider Definitive Technology Incline speakers (no longer being made).

I was certainly long tired of my laptop speakers! Especially considering I'm a musician with a good ear. I seen the ad on line, and the few times I've used their products, they were always better than the "average"! So, I took an educated guess and pulled the trigger. "Glad I did"! Tonal reproduction, Bass, Mid's, High's all, well represented. The Clarity "Superb"! Especially considering the low price range these are in! . .Home Run Bose! . .I'm actually listening to them at this very moment.

Love my speakers, sound very clear and sharp as to compare to what I had. Looking for quality buy these, a little more in cost but worth it !

A good product but they don't get very loud. Loud enough I suppose but would be great if they had a little more head room. Good balance and sound though!

I've never taken the time to review a product but these speakers are so fantastic I can highly recommend them. The look great on my desk.
