And then I read the literature and realize that Boise purposely tailored these speakers for the desktop (not home theater or stadiums). I also appreciate the pre-fine-tuning that does not allow base distortions and the like. The net result is that I can listen to my 300 or so songs from my past (my long past) and hear lyrics I never realized were there (even when Mick and I were both young).

These are a replacement for my old ones, same brand and model. Those served me well for seven years. They have great sound and are the best computer speakers I've ever had.

PRETTY GOOD FOR THE SIZE AND PRICE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you get these make sure you buy a longer 3.5 audio cable the one supplied is only 4 feet, Got these speakers to replace an old Altec Lansing pc speakers that were nearly 15 years old, they sound nice and crisp and are pretty loud for such small speakers

I would definitely recommend especially if you don't want a subwoofer taking up space. Good price, and a great value. They take up very little space, and are a good solid build which would be expected for Bose
