Works great for my laptop.

Great sound, minimal space

The speakers work very well - got rid of a 2+1 system that took up too much room on the desk and didn't sacrifice sound quality. I do wish that this entry level system from Bose offered more than one input (so I could plug in my ipad as a alternate source when so desired)

I really like the sound of them. It's a full rich sound. I watch a lot of rock vids on you tube and Bose comes through. Happy with my purchase.
