I was looking to add speakers to my desktop and did not want to have a large subwoofer sitting in the ground (especially because my room is on the second floor). These provided phenomenal sound quality for music, games, and audio lectures. One of the best investments I have ever made.

These speakers replaced the earlier version and they have improved sound quality. They don't have the a/v cable setup like the earlier version. I noticed the difference in the sound right away. You can't beat the price for Bose speakers.

Great speakers, I'm very pleased. They are compact, but have a BIG sound.

You definitely get the sweet, warm, high quality sound you would expect from BOSE. very clear, awesome to listen to music to, however they are not very loud. that's pretty much the only thing wrong with em'. But they are still awesome, especially for the price.

I was looking for new speakers for my desk without breaking the bank and i am so glad i bought these. They are awesome and the audio is excellent. You get what you pay for an this product is worth every penny. Happy shopping!

When I first plugged them in and listened to music I really wasn’t all that impressed. Was thinking about returning until I played a few games and realized how good the sound quality was. Happy with purchase.

Bought these for my desktop computer. I wanted some nice bookshelf speakers but didn't want to break the bank. These are great and made my Bose, really good for a small set of computer speakers.

I definitely can say this purchase was worth it. I bought it and gave it to my daughter so she can connect it to her Record player and the speakers sound amazing. They have a really nice tone to them.

Great sound no matter what the volume! I had older Bose speakers that died of old age and wouldn't settle for anything less.

I feel it would be hard to find better sound quality for the price. I've used Bose for years and they continue to amaze. If you are looking for quality sound at a most reasonable price, you've found it.

I had a set of speakers for my computer but the sound didn't come through full enough, so I bought this set. Having several items by Bose, I trusted the name and wasn't disappointed. Now I fully enjoy the music while I"m working or just work around the house with my pandora on.

I'm actually using these as studio monitors, and they're perfect. They pull apart each instrument wonderfully. Really lets me capture the perfect mix before testing it on a bigger surround system. Awesome product from Bose as usual.

Great sound from a basic 2 piece speaker system after some adjustments. They sound very flat right out of the box, so flat I was ready to return, and there are no tone adjustments on the speakers themselves. I adjusted the equalizer of the music player(s) I use and the output sounds great.

I had Bose speakers for my desktop for 10 years, they looked very similar to these, except they were silver. Anyway, I blew those speakers and bought these. The reason I don't give a 5 stars is they don't seem as loud as the others. The black color goes with my desktop better. I would still recommend, very good sound and for the price, you can't beat them.

The speakers work great and were easy to install. For a non-techie person it was easy to use and install.

Got these for my mom. She has had multiple computer speakers that have been okay not great but never lasted. So finally I sprung for the the basic Bose computer speakers. My mom is so happy with them and listens to all her classical music the way it should have been heard!

I was relying on my monitor's sound on my PC, which was fine but not great. Bought these to assist with video conferences and they are great for that, but add a whole new dimension to gaming. Well worth the price.

This set of Bose Speakers are very clear and full sounding. They are several steps above generic computer speakers and are great for listening to music or pod casts with great clarity without the tinny plastic sound most less expensive computer speakers give.
