The sound is definitely up to Bose standards. They can connect to anything with an earplug jack; computer, phone, tablet. Even at the highest setting they do not distort. Very happy with this product!

Speakers have great sound which is what they are for. However, I miss not having an LED indicating that the speakers are on. The connection cords are so short they are problematic. I had to switch the right and left speaker to get the cords to reach. Very cheesy of Bose to do that. Otherwise I love the speakers and Bose.

Louder rhen the acutal computer and easy to hook up!

These are my second pair of Bose speakers. I gave my old one to a friend a she loves them. I would not use any other for my PC, they sound great and I cannot work from home without my music. I do recommend them to my friends.

The speakers sound great, but Bose fell short on the PC interface cord which was only 4 feet, when I needed 7 feet.

What can one say (about the quality sound) but...Bose!

My old Best Buy set lasted about 18 months . hope this one last longer . The last set had like 5 different pieces so it took up a lot of room on my desk , this BOSE set up sounds just as good with only 2 speakers . Would I buy this set again knowing what I now know ? YES ! So far so good .

The speakers have a clear sound and it is loud enough

These speakers have a great sound quality for the price you end up paying. No real need for a sub because I game with a headset. The sound quality is good for putting on some music and doing homework.

I like these speakers they have great sound, however i did take them back as they were a christmas present & they wanted the same one i have the companion 20. That is the only reason we took them back. They both sound great.

I was originally leaning towards purchasing a 2.1 setup with subwolfer from another brand that was much cheaper. But after listening to the demo in the store, the simple Bose speakers were far superior to everything else. I have no regrets with this purchase.

I bought these Bose speakers for my bf's bday and he loves them! You can hear every little thing. It's great for gaming and watching movies. Although it is pricey, it's definitely worth it. Bose really figured it out. I recommend this to everyone

sound quality is outstanding for the money. Played several classical selections including a Haydn symphony to gauge the speakers and was very impressed.

Replaced Bose Companion 2 Series II with these and the sound is near perfect. The older series I could tell the left from the right speaker but, the Series III the sound appears to come from where I am watching. The balance is awesome.
