They look decent but they are made of plastic and the sound is just not great. After buying the Bose speakers I read this review: http://digitalstereophony.blogspot.com/2016/12/bose-companion-2-iii-mackie-cr3-and.html I returned the Bose and bought the Edifier 1280T and I'm so glad I did. They are a bit bigger but for the same price they sound so much better and come with a remote

Great Little Speakers

No sub needed while still producing decent sound. They get the job done nicely. If your wanting something like I just described, then they are perfect. If your wanting to rock the house, you'll want a different model.
