Good sound. Given the size and power, should be a little louder

Sound quality is great! but what you want to know is, the volume dial though a great feature has its draw back... it is not a Touch wheel like one would instinctively interact with it, It is a turn dial with touch on the top as its power, so if you barely touch it, it turns off. The turn dial i found to be very touchy, it was to loud or to soft, i found it best to turn them up and balance out with your volume adjustment on the input device. This i consider to be its only negative. Aside from that i love the sound quality they produce.

I'm sure there will be audiophiles who can hear more of this or less of that, but for me, a regular person who likes to jam to fun music, and is on never-ending conference calls, these are awesome. They are a tad big, but they are super easy to setup and the volume/on-off control is discreet and can be within reach - instead of me having to contort behind the monitors. Another plus!

The sound is well balanced - highs and mids are well defined, while lows are good enough to not need a subwoofer.

We are very impressed with these speakers, the sound quality is exceptional and the compact size works great on a desk.

bought these since they sounded ok for not needing a subwoofer. price wise im sure there are a lot of better alternatives out there but they all come with subs which i dont have room for. sure i probably over payed for what i got but they do sound pretty good

Sound is excellent. I ordered and received an extender from Bose, so I can now spread the speakers out a little further. They are pricey, but so much better than the Companion 2, which had a bit too much bass and were hard to adjust. Listening to music while I work is important to me, so it was definitely worth the price.

Bought for college son and he loves them. Great sound and nice size for a dorm room. Very happy with it!

Excellent sound for computer without having the need for a sub. The volume control knob is very nice also.
